The Space:

Soft winter light filters through floor-to-ceiling windows as you look out toward snow-dusted peaks, the fireplace casting a warm glow across the room. After time on the mountain, you can settle into the private hot tub on the deck, steam rising into the cold air while the village lights shimmer below. Quiet evenings unfold easily here, whether gathered in the lounge or tucked into one of the home’s inviting bedrooms.



Sleeping arrangements

Spread across four levels, the townhouse features five bedrooms and six baths designed to offer space and comfort for groups. The upper floor holds the primary bedroom overlooking the lounge, complete with a king bed, TV, and ensuite with bathtub, overhead shower, and heated rail. Two additional bedrooms on the lower floors each offer a king bed and ensuite. Another bedroom includes twin beds and access to a private deck, while the fifth bedroom features two tri-bunk beds (double plus twin), well suited for families or friends traveling together. Each bathroom provides its own layout, with a mix of glass-enclosed showers and bath-shower combinations.



Kitchen & dining

The gourmet kitchen includes a gas cooktop, Fisher Paykel appliances, a wine fridge, and generous counter space for preparing meals after a day outside. A breakfast bar seats three, and the adjoining dining area accommodates ten, allowing everyone to gather comfortably.



Living spaces

The main living area is designed for connection, with vaulted ceilings, plush seating, and expansive windows bringing in natural light and mountain views. A sleek gas fireplace anchors the room during cold-weather months. For movie nights or downtime, the media room offers a 64" Smart TV and Sonos sound system. Essentials like towels, linens, washer, dryer, and high-speed Wi-Fi are provided, along with heating, portable fans, and a safe for valuables. A dedicated workspace with a desk and office chair supports those who need to stay connected.



Outdoor living

The large deck extends the living space outdoors, where a private hot tub and BBQ grill overlook the surrounding peaks and valley. A private entrance, single-car garage with boot warmers, driveway parking, and a mudroom for storing gear make winter stays especially convenient.



Ski access

Guests seeking ski access can use the seasonal route connecting to the Lower Olympic trail. This involves navigating approximately 100 stairs when skiing in or out, making it best suited for those comfortable with a more adventurous approach. Ski access typically runs from late December through March, depending on snow conditions. Alternatively, the Whistler gondola is about a two-minute drive or taxi ride away.

Located in Northern Lights above Whistler Village, the home offers a peaceful setting close to dining, shops, and mountain activities. The elevated position provides a sense of seclusion while keeping the village easily within reach.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Northern Lights is perched just above Whistler Village, offering a quiet and scenic setting with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Guests enjoy a short walk to the village and the Valley Trail, as well as access to an intermediate-level ski-in/ski-out trail from Whistler Mountain. The location blends alpine seclusion with unbeatable proximity to dining, shopping, and lifts, making it ideal for those seeking both tranquility and convenience.

• 20-minute walk to Whistler Village Gondola

• 20-minute walk to the Village Stroll

• 30-minute walk or 5-minute drive to Fresh Street grocery store

• 30-minute walk to Upper Village

Other Things to Note:

• Construction Notice Summer 2025: Please be aware that a nearby property is undergoing a renovation starting in August 2025. During August and September, guests in Northern Lights 45 may experience construction noise from activities such as concrete grinding, rock excavation, and the operation of construction vehicles.

• Construction typically takes place Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, though the Whistler municipality allows work from 7:30 AM to 8 PM daily. Accommodation rates have been adjusted to compensate for any potential disturbances.

• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Very nice property in a great location

This is a perfect property for a large group of friends or families. The location is superb. You'll need a car to get to the ski slopes, it's a three minutes drive to the Westin parking lot. This makes it just separate enough to be in a very private area in Whistler yet very close to the slopes. All and all a high-end property with all you need for a great stay.

Big layout, minimal home fell (definitely an airbnb type please) - no games, minimal art on the wall, hardly any rugs, etc. - felt kind of cold (not homey).

The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and the kitchen had the supplies needed to cook. But..... there were no board games, hardly any pictures on the walls and the please felt pretty hollow (not like home). Definitely not a place that someone lives in or frequents often. No rug in the living room (the living room is kind of floating in the middle of the room). It just needs a bit more to make it feel comfortable and home like.

This is definitely a hidden gem of northern lights

It located at the end of the road! We got the most private untouched soft snow for the kids to play! Great for family to have a relaxing vacation! $10 taxi took my family the heart of whistler while I spent my day on the slopes for funs! There are many many more you have to experience yourself! Great Stay!

I recently had a great stay here with 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had plenty of kitchen & bathroom essentials for us to use during the stay. The hot tub was clean and lovely to use. Very comfortable beds! Each family had their own floor, which provided privacy and ease with napping the little ones. The only thing to note is the fire alarm is easy to set off when cooking and not easy to reset without help from their customer service team. All in all we had a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future :)
