This slopeside 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Mammoth Mountain condo near Juniper Springs Lodge is super convenient with a short walk to Eagle Lodge! The living room features two sleeper sofas with plenty of seating for all and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace with custom stonework around the hearth. This condo has Wireless Internet, TV with DVD player in the living room, and just off the living room there is a sliding glass door that opens out to an enclosed patio with forrest views to enjoy the Winter wonderland. It features a full kitchen and dining area with seating for up to 6. There is a California King bed in the master bedroom with flat screen TV and attached private bathroom with a second vanity area. With mud room at the entry, there is plenty of space to store your gear. The complex offers underground parking with elevator access to the unit, so you can enjoy all the conveniences and no shoveling required! The Aspen Creek complex offers an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people and comes with underground garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 4") a well as a second space available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to this unit and no stairs inside. This unit is non-smoking and no pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. Mammoth rental

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poor. Although their was no AC in the unit, the bedroom did not have screens for ventilation. We had to choose between a hot room or mosquitos. Also, the corridor wreaked. Will not recommend your facility.

Nice location

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The unit was clean and pleasant. However, the thermostat wasn’t working in any of the rooms. We followed all the instructions in the binder; however, it never worked and it got pretty warm at times. Some windows didn’t have the screen so we couldn’t open it since bugs would come in. The side insulation of the fridge was loose and unattached causing it to not close properly at times. Additionally, there were pans and pots provided, but some were damaged.

Mixed feelings

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this is a nice 1 BR condo. Clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, but a bit dated. The sun room is a small, welcoming space. The photo suggests a bright and airy space, but this space is not. It is DARK, with the coal-colored fireplace stones sucking all the light out of the living room. The unit should put an internet connected TV in the living room for guests to watch their favorite channels. The CD and DVD players just don't cut it in the 21st century.Beware that there is ongoing construction on the property as of October 2024 even though the advertisement for this unit says it is SUMMER construction. I guess Mammoth only has two seasons - SKI and SUMMER.

Great Little Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was clean & perfect for a small family. I liked that there was a separate "mud room" area for snow gear. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable & the hot tub was absolutely amazing after a long day of snowboarding & had the most gorgeous view at sunset! The only thing that was disappointing was there were no extra towels provided for use after the hot tub (even though the informational binder in the home states that additional towels would be left in the bedroom). I messaged the property management company & they said extra towels were not provided. We made do and shared a towel, but when its freezing outside it was definitely not ideal. So BYOT (bring your own towels)! Still giving 5 stars because everything else was great!

Needs improvement

Great location. Easy check in. Unfortunately the place was not stocked with what was promised. When reaching out to the property rental company, they were bothered with our requests of basic needs. “This is not a hotel service” was the response I received from Mammoth Sierra Reservations . As a result, I won’t use this company who manages the property. As for the place, spacious with a great balcony. Great parking. The mattress was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on at a rental property. I read another review that mentioned this problem. It appears that this won’t change. If a good nights rest is important then this is not the place for you. The mattress is that uncomfortable. I hope they change it for the betterment of others experience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was fine, though a little tired. The reservation system was fine until we arrived. In order to access the unit, you have to download an app which if you don’t know ahead of time is a challenge. The app then says you have to go to another location to get your keys. Why wasn’t this information part of the reservation system? There was another family arriving at the same time with the sam issue.Please update your system to email directions—not everyone has service to download an app at the last minute. Finding the unit was another challenge— it is not obvious which building one is in nor how to find the unit, let alone parking-particularly when you are arriving late at night.The unit was fine, but the hallway access was under construction. One of the hot tubs was not hot, but the other one and sauna were fine.

Aspen Creek - Skiing with the kids adults kids, that is!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pro and cons to this unit - Underground parking!!!! yippie and we needed it that weekend! We drove to Eagle, and as people in our group were done for the day, they walked back; some even walked back for some more fun. So walk or drive. It was nice to have both a queen and a twin pull-out couch. We used them both and there was room for ski bags alongside the couches. The kitchen has a counter shelf that seats two on the living room side and came in handy to serve breakfast as it came up ready and after ski snacks while making dinner. Filtered water and ice maker on the fridge door. A large counter in the kitchen was great for unloading groceries, food prep and laying out snacks for pockets and backpacks. There's a coffee maker, good blender for our morning smoothies, an electric stove(argg); no crockpot. I found that the coffee maker had not been cleane and when cooking, found the pots and pans to be dirty (yuck & hard to clean), the can opener and a pairing knife were broken and some lids are missing. There weren't enough towels for all of us. The property management listened and responded quickly and professionally, they dropped off a new can opener, a set of towels, some coffee and refunded my cleaning fee. I soaked the pots and pans and left for the cleaning service to clean them. The dining room and table was big enough to place serving dishes (pots & pans) and for all of us to sit and enjoy dinner together :) The master has a sink and counter in it and the living room sleepers have their own sink and counter. Those areas have access to the toilet and shower. The doors are thin and the water is HOT. The rug to the master is lifting slightly. There is a screened in porch which was nice to sit and have coffee, although it is chilly. There was no firewood, we had to purchase some. With some attention, this unit will improve.

Loved the place and location

We were very comfortable at this property. Very conveniently located walking distance to Eagle Lodge. The only recommendation I would have is to get some mattress toppers for the pull out couches as they are pretty uncomfortable. I ended up taking the mattress of the little couch and put it on top of the large couch mattress and one of my kids could sleep much better.
