The cabin is clean and fully stocked (kitchen)! The decks are roomy and provide a view of the lake and mountains! We spent a lot of time in the decks! Our host was extremely helpful in guiding us to the cabin! She was always just a text away

The cabin was pretty and beautifully decorated! A pleasant surprise, was how well stocked the cabin was with everday staples. When we arrived, we noticed a handwritten note and glass jug of peach cider, from one of the local orchards... what a nice touch!! Down to the lake was a bit of hike but not terrible. We would definitely stay at this cabin again and we would also stay at any of Sheena's other properties! We had a great time and experience staying at her rental cabin.

The property is beautiful on the inside and very comfortable. The host is easy to communicate with and helps with any and all requests and/or issues. Definitely don't arrive for the first time at dark, but after the first time the drive is very easy. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the lake area that we were highly interested in is very hard to get to as the stairs are broken and near the dock area there were lots of trees and branches on the water that prevented fishing. Overall, it's a beautiful place and matches the description and we would definitely go again!

The cabin was really pretty, and the pictures definitely don’t do it justice. The only “gripe” I’d have per se would be the pictures of the stairs can be deceiving leading to the lake. It was actually a lot harder path than previously anticipated. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

Property was lovely and very clean inside. The outdoor areas are a challenge. I will say through no fault of owners/management. The upside is total privacy, the downside is the trees drop pine needles and large amounts of sap all over. The lake is beautiful but the stairs are a serious challenge. That being said. The price is very reasonable for the house. The owners provide really nice bath products and all linens are quite nice!! You can see they love this home. WiFi is super in the house as well! Location in relation to things to do is great.

My family truly enjoyed our time together here at this cabin. While we could see the lake, there are a lot of trees that prevent a clear view. We did not go swimming as there were very large branches off the dock and the water was very brown (normal in Georgia). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinners including salt and pepper, flour, sugar, and coffee filters. Lots of games and books to choose from—we had a great time using the Foosball table. The controllers for the Xbox did not work, but that was not even attempted until the last night. The host provided great directions that we printed out prior to leaving for our trip. Waze did give us accurate directions. I left driving up and down the mountain to my husband! There is a lot to do in the area. I would recommend this cabin to others as a quiet treetop oasis!

The host was extremely welcoming and kind! They made a note to come during the day time, which we did not, and can confirm it's probably best. We arrived at night and it was a little spooky as the road is basically a one lane road leading up the mountain. Overall the place was extremely clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of towels, linens, and blankets. We had an amazing stay and would definitely return if we were in the Cherry Log area again! We visited DT Blue Ridge and Elijay and highly recommend Elijay! There's a really great pizza place and great coffee shops in the area!

Perfect Getaway!

Lake Hideaway 2 is beautiful, clean and well-equipped with everything you'll need for your perfect vacation. So quiet and peaceful up on the mountain, we had a much-needed relaxing break, enjoying cooking, sitting by the fireplace and hiking the local trails. Sheena is a terrific host and on top of every detail to make your stay the best!

Wonderful retreat

We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. We especially appreciated the cider from the owner. The place looks just as it does in the photos. It was a great place for peace and quite. We especially loved the deck and the bonfire pit. We would definitely stay again!

We cannot begin t I express how warm and welcoming our host Sheena was. She went above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant one. She even compromised her safety traveling in the snow to bring us supplies to make sure we had what we needed . The cabin was decorated so warm and inviting. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We haven't stopped talking about how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was so cozy. It felt like home away from home. We are truly looking forward to the next trip. Hopefully we'll be able to fish next time.

Fantastic stay!

This cabin truly exceeded expectations. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making for a truly relaxing retreat. The views were absolutely stunning.A major highlight was the lake access and boating opportunities– it made my teenage son's his trip! We also loved the peace and quiet of being so isolated and surrounded by the forest. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.I can't wait to return to this wonderful cabin, especially in the fall to experience the changing leaves!

Beautiful cabin in Cherry Log, GA

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful cabin and wished it could have been much longer! The cabin has great outdoor spaces and is very comfortable and cozy! Every amenity you could think of was provided in this cabin! Very thoughtful of the owner. Close to Blue Ridge and great restaurants. Def check out the Pink Pig!
