This designer beach house is located in the tranquil Catherine Hill Bay. The house is divided into two areas - the four bedroom main house & attached one bedroom self-contained apartment, allowing large groups to stay together with their own private spaces.

The property has a mineral heated swimming pool, alfresco area, fire pit and BBQ. There are views of Moonee Beach and the National Park from all balconies. Perfect for a family beach holiday, romantic getaway, retreat or location hire.

LOCATION
The Chalet is located in Catherine Hill Bay, a historic coastal town only 90 minutes from Sydney and 30 minutes from Newcastle. Located east of the Pacific Highway on the South Wallarah Peninsula, between the Wallarah National Park in the north and Munmorah State Conservation Area in the south.

There are two beautiful beaches at your doorstep: the stunning patrolled Middle Camp beach, named twice as one of 'Australia's 101 Best Beaches' and home to the iconic former coal-loading jetty and the secluded Moonee Beach.
This pristine area is perfect for swimming, surfing, photography, fishing, hiking, and trail bike riding.

Catho Pub – previously known as The Wallarah Hotel is located in the historic township of Catherine Hill Bay on Clarke St, a short 5 minute walk from The Chalet. The Pub is heritage listed and has an abundance of old world charm. Call in for a Cold Beer, a meal in the Bistro, Coffee & Cake or to listen to some live music. Entertainment is on most Saturday and Sundays from 1pm.

Caves Coastal Bar - 27 Mawson Close, Caves Beach is a short 10 minutes’ drive north of The Chalet. The newly renovated casual, stylish indoor and outdoor space is the perfect setting for a long, lazy seaside lunch, enjoying a great drop with friends and family. The menu celebrates the good things in life - friendship, family, fun and food, from freshly shucked oysters to wood fired pizza and fresh seafood, our menu is made for sharing. Speers Point Park - Park Road, Speers Point boasts the biggest children's playground in the region. The newly constructed playground has a 4 story slide, flying foxes, pirate ships, a wet play area, sculptures, rickety bridges just to name a few things.

Blackbutt Reserve - Carnley Avenue, Kotara. Feed the emus or play in the new adventure playground at Richley Reserve. Inspired by the natural bushland, the playground features rope courses, bridges, swings and slides, an adventure tower, and plenty of space for everyone from toddlers to tweens, and all abilities.

Wyee Point Reserve – Cnr Wymeera Cct and Halwyn Close, Wyee Point. The playground features a cableway, swings and hip hop equipment with kangaroos often visiting at dusk.
