Perfect for a quiet retreat with access to the water with amenities just a short drive away. We were very happy with the cleanliness and quietness of the area.

Hi Martin,

Just beautiful- we had the cottage and the boathouse. Perfect for teenagers and extended family. The sunsets were stunning! Had great dun fishing, walking, swimming, boating, relaxing. Will be back for sure.
Fantastic accoms.
Beautiful and conveniently located , yet just enough off the busy areas to have your own little bit of awesome to enjoy.
Main house is fresh and clean with nice breezes from east and west.
The Boathouse Cottage is beyond expectations and is a must for family or larger groups. You won’t regret hiring.
Bruce is straightforward and pleasant to deal with either by msg or old school phone call.
Highly recommended.
This would have to be the best lakeside property we have ever booked. Both the main home and boathouse properties are very well equipped, clean and had not just the basics but ANYTHING you would need to ensure you had the what you would need for your stay. Even their kitchen knives were actually sharp! You just need to bring your food and fishing gear and you're set for your stay. The kids very much enjoyed their stay as they were able to use the property's kayak, table tennis and outdoor playground... not to mention the calm water of the lake to go swimming. You can go fishing right in-front of the boathouse and sit by the deck with your choice of bevvy and enjoy the view. The whole family really enjoyed the stay and we are looking forward to booking the property in the future again. Bruce, thank you for making your properties absolutely perfect!
The pictures don’t do this place justice. We stayed for a weekend with the kids and they spent all day in and on the water. The boathouse was the highlight for us right on the lake front. The kitchen and house was clean and well equipped with plenty of pantry ingredients. There was no wifi which was advertised in the listing but we didn’t really miss it as there was enough entertainment and dvds for kids to relax after a long day on the lake. Highly recommend it! Thanks Bruce would love to stay here again.

Sorry about the misunderstanding regarding the wifi. I have double checked the website and could not see where it was advertised.
Hope you can return soon.

Had an excellent time with friends. Will hopefully be staying again and have recommended to family and friends. House was very clean. Amazing view from the balcony and very close to the water. Communication from Bruce was also great.

Really good value for a family of 6 and 3 friends. The sunset view at the boathouse is terrific. We can launch our kayaks from the yard. Very well supplied cooking pots, pans and utensils. The kids like the ping pang table and the fire pit in the yard. All in all, very good place to chill and relax for a family.
Home away from home had everything Affordable Bruce was great to deal with Very comfortable and relaxing sunsets were truly amazing from the boat house.
We were able to pull our kayaks up on the lawn and leave them there so easy for many paddles over the week. Sunsets amazing from the little deck of the boat house but not as much to see from the deck of main house as the trees blocked most of Lakeview. But the trees are beautiful too!
House very clean and tidy and beds comfy.
The house was clean and well supplied, located in a quiet street with direct lake access. The lake views and comfy, warm house provided the perfect recipe for a relaxing break. Thank you, Bruce for sharing your beautiful property! Steve and Marie
A nice cozy little place, right on the water. I wish we could have stayed longer.
This place had everything we needed. It was situated right on Lake Macquarie. It was so nice and relaxing to sit by the water. Thank you for a nice getaway.
Location is amazing
Fishing was so easy - just wandering down to the Lakes edge through the back yard
Shops and eating out are a short drive away or you could cook your own in the full kitchen
A quintessential holiday weekender
