Great place to stay with 22 family members! Houses were close enough together that we felt we remained as one group, but with more space & options. Appreciated the king beds and bathrooms in each bedroom. Plenty of parking space as needed for a group of this size. Some of us enjoyed golfing, others went into town to shop and we all enjoyed the pool facilities! Enough room to play bags and we made use of the pickle ball courts. Everyone agreed,- will be returning in 2027!

We were in town for our son's wedding at Oak Hill Farm. The houses were great! Love that each bedroom had it's own bathroom, made it great for everyone getting ready for wedding. Kitchens were well equipped, and the screened in porch was perfect.

Wonderful vacation

We all had a wonderful time! The kids loved the pool table and foosball and also the pools. It was great being so close to Galena and Dubuque, which we took advantage of.

Best Family Stay EVER!

Nineteen of us,ages 3 to 70, arrived at Canterbury Court for a three-day stay. This is our ninth year of family vacations, & our crowd agreed this spot was the best so far! Would recommend it for everyone who wants to make beautiful memories with loved ones!

Great place to stay with large groups. Highly recommend this property

Only issue was that it is dark going from one house to the other at night. A small yard light would be nice

We do have automatic lights for the property. Due to rules and regulations for our community geared towards a dark sky community, these lights can't be extremely bright or cast out. But they do light the way for our guests.

Wedding Home Base

We stayed for a long weekend for our wedding in Galena. This was a great place to host our bridal party and enjoy a lot of quality time with our friends! The owners club is a very nice perk with access to the pool and fitness center!

40th anniversary gathering

The houses were clean and as advertised. Each bedroom had an attached bathroom which was greatly appreciated. Stephen was very accommodating and available. Would definitely stay at HALM property again.

Great family trip

We had ages 1-82 stay at both houses! Everything was wonderful especially the bedroom to bathroom ratio, kitchen amenities, pool table and hot tub! If I had to make a suggestion it would be to add 2 more dish towels and 2-4 wash cloths for the kitchen. We had a super time and would book again!

We had 4 generations/multiple families traveling with us so side by side houses were perfect for us. We rent vacation homes often and this was these were the most well stocked houses We've ever stayed in......Thanksgiving dinner for 18 and we could all sit in one room together! While we did have to inconvenient but not trip ruining issues the host Steve responded to all messages immediately and resolved it (even on Thanksgiving Day). We did not use community pool but the hot tubs at each house were a bug hit. We would definitely rent these houses again!
