Awesome Modern Unit That Sleeps 6, Private Deck, Laundry, Wifi, Sat Tv, Wildlife
The space
Cozy 2-bedroom 1-bath attached Mother-in-Law unit. This 800 sq ft unit has every modern amenity; Full kitchen, Large Bathroom, 2-bedrooms (queen/twin beds) and a sofa queen in the living room. Hi-Speed WIFI, Laundry with detergent & Direct TV are included.
This cozy unit has a large deck with awesome views, a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture with a private firepit. There is an attached 4-bedroom vacation rental with its own separate entrance and facilities. Both units are completely private from each other.
Located on the Denali National Park boundary, our Mother-in-Law unit is perfect for family or friends travelling on a budget.
You will be staying in the perfect location, a short 15-minute drive to Denali's only Entrance Rd. and less than a 1/2 mile from The Parks Highway and the Town of Healy which has a full-service grocery/liquor store, bars and restaurants and all area activities.
Healy is where you want to be, away from the congestion of glitter gulch and all the cruise ship hotels.
We are in a tiny subdivision and see an abundance of wildlife in our neighborhood. You can easily walk to the end of our road to Dry Creek Drainage with great hiking right out of the house.
This unit gives you the feel of being secluded inside the National Park, yet you have all the creature comforts of modern living. The views of The Park Mountains are amazing.

FAQ’s
We provide all linens, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, trash bags, sponges, paper towels and toilet paper.
The Coffee Maker does not need filters, and we provide drip coffee and powdered creamer and sugar.
We provide olive oil, cooking spray and an array of spices including salt and pepper. From time-to-time people leave condiments and other non-perishable foods but please do not expect anything in the way of food items to be provided. Please bring everything you will need.
We provide propane for the BBQ.
I will email you detailed driving directions and the key code for entry two weeks prior to your arrival. Self-check in any time after 4pm.
You must have a rental car to stay at our property. There is plenty of parking and we are very easy to locate
Our property is 4.5 hours north of Anchorage and 2 hours South of Fairbanks. There is only one highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks which makes navigation very easy. Follow the mile markers.
We recommend you book your park bus tour prior to arrival
We recommend taking the Park Bus all the way to East Fork. There is only one road, so the least expensive bus takes the same exact route as the most expensive bus. You can book all other activities upon arrival depending on weather and your groups desires. All activity brochures are located in the entry way to the house, and most activities are nearby and/or can arrange to pick you up at the house.
For larger groups there is 1 other private unit located on this property (a 4-bedroom / 3-bathroom house).

We have lived in Denali National Park since 1992. We are world travelers and always use VRBO. We have 4 vacation rentals at the park entrance and can assure you your experience at our properties is our highest priority. We are available to answer any questions you may have about our area. Guests rarely need to contact us with issues while at our properties but I can assure you we are close by to remedy any issues. This unit is perfect for spending time with your family & friends away from it all and won't break your budget. It's a small unit but there is plenty of room for 4 to 6 people and has all the creature comforts you want in a vacation rental.
Why they chose this property
This property is perfectly located 11 miles from Denali National Parks only entrance road and only 1/4 mile off the main highway. You really feel like your living in remote Alaska yet you have all the amenities of being on the grid. The majority of visitors to Denali stay in over priced hotel rooms at the National Park Entrance. Stay at our home an avoid the crowds and enjoy the peace and serenity of our tiny Alaskan neighborhood. Live Well.

You can view the Park and the wildlife right out the house windows. Have a fire in the fire pit in the yard. Relax on your private deck and watch the midnight sun.
