There is a $75 per person per stay charge above 6 people up to 8 people. Please be honest about how many people. This is to keep it more affordable for small groups. We allow 2 day guest to visit but not spend the nite.

Contract is void if Occupancy numbers exceed agreed to amount. The occupancy includes adults and children.

All types of parties or events are not allowed and are defined as any gathering that exceeds the property's occupancy limit as described in the contract. Example: Renting a nearby property and bringing those people to this property is not permitted. We are respectful of our neighbors allowing us to rent.

THE PROPERTY INSIDE

This property is unique and has a spectacular location and an amazing peaceful view! This waterfront rental is located at the southern end of Kings Bay on one of the largest lots on the point of Crescent Island. A quite neighborhood that is accessed by a one car wide old concrete bridge. You will feel like you are crossing into a unique peaceful old Florida neighborhood.

The Great room has plenty of room for everyone. High ceilings and wrap around windows that overlook water on two sides. Finished off with a large rock fireplace! This is a great location to relax, unwind and socialize while taking in the outside view of nature and Crystal River. Easy access to outdoors is provided out a westerly facing door.

The property has 4 bedrooms , 3.5 bathrooms and 2 fireplaces. All bedrooms are second level and each has a door that directly accesses a second story deck. Views from all four bedrooms over look the water.

The views from the Front Waterfront bedroom and uniqueness is just spectacular. This room has a queen bed. Everyone in your group will end up checking out this room and wanting to stay there! They will also probably want to share morning coffee or evening cocktail with you off your own private deck. It also has its own private bath!

The Master bedroom has a King bed an is quite spectacular with water views off two sides of the room. Private setting area is also part of this bedroom along with its own large private bath and walk in closet. You can also walk out on to a deck to enjoy the view, peacefulness, wildlife and of courses coffee, cocktails or a book!

Southern Bedroom is for privacy, yet still with a water view. The bedroom has a full. This bedroom is located at the southern tip of the property. It shares a double bath across the hall from the middle bedroom. You still have direct deck access to overlook the water and palm trees. Great spot to quietly have a morning coffee or evening cocktail. A small spring is nestled towards shore to the south of the deck. It has been know to attract Manatees and other marine life past the deck.

Middle bedroom has a full and a single bed. You still get water views and direct access to a deck. It shares a double bathroom with the southern bedroom. Still gives you the deck for coffee, cocktails or quite time to read a book.

Down stairs there is a second great room with Large TV and a fireplace. Across from this room there is a split level sitting room with water views. Great place to relax or for you to escape from the crowd!

Laundry room is equipped with a 2 washers, 2 dryers, Ironing board, work sink and countertop space.

Small separate apartment where the grounds/ property keeper resides part time in far back of property. It’s separate from house with no shared access. Wealth of local information available if you happen to make contact.

THE PROPERTY OUTSIDE

Outside you have lots of space. The sea wall is around 400 feet long with many great spots to just hang out. You can look for manatees, dolphins and other marine life. There is a 12 ft by 12 ft fishing platform with a 12 ft walkway out to it. Great spot to fish or just set with a coffee or wine and relax. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from this location. There are also birds of prey that can sometimes be observed along with many other birds. The property is landscaped with many flowers, plants, palm trees, banana tree and lime trees. One of our favorite activities is to take a lawn chair out to the north point and relax in your own special way!

Gazebo screened in with seating 35 feet from the water for evening relaxation or day BQ.

LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES

If you are a boater, you have protected docking for your vessel. Our dock will hold up to two 23-27 foot vessel. Dock is very protected from the elements. The dock is also designed with a special launch for kayaking on and off. Please check before booking for boat accommodation. We provide 3 one person kayaks and 1 two person kayak. You can also boat to restaurants that offer lunch, dinner and drinks. If you fish you can be out in the gulf in a short amount of time. There are also small Islands you can explore, fish from, have lunch or just hang on the remote beach! If you are here for the springs and looking for the manatee, all are close by. There is a small spring very close to the property that can be seen form the south bedroom deck. We often have Manatees swimming by the front of our property and the back bay portion. Dolphins can also be seen at times swimming by. Bring your snorkel gear!

If you are a kayaker you are in a great spot to explore quietly by yourself or with a friend all that Crystal River nature has to offer. If you want to be where there are lots of kayakers and boaters you just have to paddle a little further. You can also paddle to one of the restaurants/bars for lunch if you are more adventurous.

Hunters Spring and Three Sisters spring is apx 1 mile as the bird flys from us. Depending on your route in the kayaks it will be more than the l mile. There also is a small spring in the back of the bay from us. Apx 600-800 ft away.
How long to paddle to Hunters or Three Sisters?
Depends on your route, how you paddle and if you stop at the social which is half way there for a drink or snack.

There is a large spring less than 1/2 mile from us.
There is an opportunity to swim in roped off sections.
You can see this spring by looking east. It's also close to the Social restaurant.

If your a biker, jogger or walker you can be down town Crystal River without having to use the highway! You can also bike to the public beach on the gulf.

If your a scalloper you already know the location and the convenience of this location.
If its your first time scalloping you can sign up just around the corner with the Plantation club. They offer scalloping trips and boat rentals. If you are planning on doing this, reserve as early as possible so you are not disappointed!

This area is quite with limited boat and kayak traffic yet minutes from the Plantation Club. The Plantation Club offers the opportunity to rent vessels you can take out into the Bay and the Gulf. They also have fine dinning, golf club, boat rentals, scallop trips, boat tours and manatee tours.

The property is also close to the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge.
