Clean, kid/family friendly, quiet, and easy to access property! Came to Chico for a wedding and stayed with parents, my two children under two, and in-laws. Everyone had a great stay.
Great location and lots of beds. Property was clean, everything worked, plenty of towels, dishes etc. Property owner responded to texts quickly and we enjoyed our stay.
Nice, good-sized house in the Aves. 6 of us were in town for a reunion at CSU Chico and it suited us well. Easy communication with the property manager. Would stay again!
We couldn’t have been more happier with our stay, and the place was perfect. The host was great, and he went out of his way to help out with an issue, which was awesome. We would highly recommend staying, and if you have a big family, it is more than enough room. Great experience!
Large home in quiet neighborhood. More than enough space for our group. Loved the large front porch. There is a picnic table, but I recommend bringing some camp chairs to sit on if you want to be really comfortable.
This house was perfect for a gathering of 10 friends and family! Great location in Chico, in one of the oldest neighborhoods. Super adorable. Took a tour of Sierra Nevada which was impressive and walked downtown for some shopping and a visit to Mad Bear. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and there were no issues checking in or out. I highly recommend this house!
This house was adequate for what we needed, a space for 5 friends in town for a reunion. There was plenty of room for hanging out and the picnic table on the porch was nice for outdoor chill time. The furnishings were fine, nothing fancy. The linens and towels were worn and need a refresh. It would have been be nice to have wine glasses that were made out of glass rather than plastic. If you have allergies you should be aware that the linens and sheets are washed in highly scented detergent. We were told to reach out to the host 24-48 hours ahead of time for check in information, although we were not responded to until immediately before check in, which made it difficult to coordinate 5 people arriving separately. Would have been better to just be honest about when we would receive check in information. All in all the stay was adequate and once we got into the house the host was very responsive.
The house was perfect for our 3 families. We were in town dropping off our sons at Chico State. The house was plenty big with 5 bedrooms, large comfy sectional, and a little game room. Everyone spread out throughout the house, but came together for meals at the dining room table. The tree lined streets were gorgeous and shady. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch. Safeway and many tasty restaurants (The Bear, Woodstock's Pizza, and The Raw Bar Restaurant and Sushi) are close. We love that the house was extremely close to campus. Occasionally, we heard the train whistle which put a smile on my face as it reminded me of my college days as a Chico State student. All 3 families agreed that we'd love to stay here again when we visit our sons.
This home was perfect for our family of nine. We came for a wedding. The location was central to all of the activities we participated in. The home was spacious and clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Zachary responded promptly to texts. We would definitely stay here again.
I planned a nostalgic trip with my friends from college to return to Chico after almost a decade. This house was extremely clean, comfortable and walking distance to campus which was great. We had an awesome time visiting Bear Hole, doing the Sacramento River float and exploring downtown. Would definitely recommend this house for a visit to Chico.
We rented this house for our wrestling team and coaches. It was perfect for our stay and totally recommend for a large group wanting to stay together!!!
Spacious clean home at a quiet neighborhood. We went to snow areas closer to mineral from this home, enjoyed playing in the snow during day time and relaxed at home cooking and watching netflix movies. Kids enjoyed in their game room area, playing together in upstairs/downstairs rooms... they had great fun. It is a memorable 2022 year celebration for us at this home.
The property was in a nice place. It was large and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of beds and the bathrooms were nice. We were able to cook and clean up easily.
Stayed here during 4th July weekend with family and friends. House was good, clean condition. Has 5 bedrooms, so comfortable for group of 10-12. Only thing we I found lacking was proper plates and bowls in kitchen. Front porch is a great place to sit and have tea/coffee or breakfast/lunch/dinner. May be hiuse can have some more board games for kids, but other wise nice house.
Location gave easy access to downtown, parks, etc. front yard was wonderful for kids to play. Backyard was very small and essentially unusable. A binder with property and town information would have been helpful. Zac the property manager was readily available and pleasant. We would stay here again. The house was very roomy!
What a nice house. It was spacious inside. The 3 full bathrooms were a plus for our crew of 8. The house has nice amenities. If we are ever in Chico again we would definitely stay.
We were in Chico for a family wedding, and this property was the perfect spot for us to stay. We were able to relax in a comfortable, clean, spacious place with all the amenities we needed. Zach communicated everything we needed to know and responded in a timely way to all my correspondence. The place feels very homey, and checkout was a breeze. The house was close to everywhere we went. I would definitely return here if we needed to come to Chico again.
