Very convenient location. 35 min walk to Cafe Dumonde. 50 min walk to JazzFest. 15 min walk to 20 music venues on Frenchman Street. 5 min drive to Armstrong Park.
This is a beautifully renovated double shotgun with huge kitchen, wood floors, sun room, porch. Very clean (5 star). This spacious home has 2200 sq ft--great size for families & larger groups. Larged dining room with table that can seat 8. All bedrooms have private entrances. You'll love the 14-foot ceilings and artistic decor, featuring Lousiana landscapes, JazzFest Posters and vintage travel art. Classy place for a very reasonable price. Guests typically say it looks even better in person than in the photos.
Note: There is some road construction happening near the house, so parking may be limited. Normally you can park right in front of the house. But with some road closures during the day, you might have to park one block away. No refunds for bad weather or roads. I have never had to park more than one block away.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION: You'll love the-14 foot ceilings in the living room, dining room, kitchen and sun room, along with the elegant chandeliers in the common areas and ceiling fans in all rooms. And 4k TV. The sun-lit porch is ideal for breakfasts or happy hours. Each BR is @ 15' x 15'--all with queen beds. Kitchen area is very large and bright with bar counter, 4 large windows and red-brick floor. Dining room is a great central space with the original fireplace and table that easily seats 8. The sun room has a dinette that seats four, a perfect spot for morning coffee. Other amenities include: free & easy on-street parking, 4K TV, high-speed internet, central AC/heat, new washer/dryer/fridge, fully stocked kitchen, snacks and coffee/tea anytime. Guests say my place looks much better than my (not professional) online pictures and tell me that the place is beautiful, VERY clean, classy and well maintained (Please check my more than fifty 5-star reviews on AirBnb). The home is tastefully decorated with unique Louisiana art, antique travel posters, and a Jazz Fest theme. Remember to compare the overall space when looking at your housing options -- some are just tiny apartments or single shotguns, whereas this home is DOUBLE the size and width of a normal shotgun.
EASY PARKING: While there is not separate dedicated parking, it's always been easy to find parking on the street nearby--never more than a few houses away.

Great location - you can Uber and be almost anywhere in the city within 5-10 minutes. And if you like to walk, you can easily walk to Frenchman St in 12 mins, French Quarter in 30 mins, and Jackson Square in 40 mins. I've had over 150 rentals, and there's been no complaints about the neighborhood or location.
