This property was great for the four of us. There was lots of room in the house. It was bigger than it appeared online or from the outside, with two living areas. We all slept well in the bedrooms, too. Our little dog enjoyed the house, too. We had a good time making S’mores both nights at the fire pit. A grocery store was nearby—The Trading Post. We went to the Woodstock Museum only 30 minutes away on Saturday and on Sunday to Sleepy Hollow on our way back to NYC. It was a wonderful weekend for us! Oh, and the fall colors were gorgeous!

Great getaway and stay

Gary was such a great host and the house was pristine, clean, and spacious. Everything we needed was available to us upon arrival. It was convenient and a lovely getaway in the Catskills. I highly recommend booking this home!

Great place to relax

Beautiful comfortable home and large property. We really enjoyed the fresh air, peace & quiet, watching the wildlife (deer, groundhogs, rabbits), and using the BBQ grill. It was everything we wanted for our getaway. Gary was a great host—easy to contact and provided detailed information for our stay.

We recently lost a sister and had to help finalize. The area is rural and hotels are not close. We found the perfect location and accommodations. The property was clean, secluded, and had amazing views. The host was accessible and gave details if needed. My family wants to revisit.

A pleasant but hot stay!

There are many pros to this house. It’s very spacious. Lots of natural light. Beautiful nature all around and very private. Plenty of kitchen space. Beds were very comfortable. The main disappointment with this house is there is no air conditioning, which was not clearly stated in the listing. It was very hot and even with several ceiling fans and windows open (not all could open because they didn’t have screens), we were still uncomfortable. We went smack in the middle of summer, so other times of the year should be better temperature wise. There is no washer dryer so just be aware if that is something important to you. Overall a pleasant stay and we enjoyed the nature, the space, and how well stocked with supplies the house was.

Great place overall! 10am checkout is too early.

The property was great. Amazing location, very well kept and clean home. Had everything we needed for an over-night stay. A small communication issue with the owner about cleaning and supplies for fewer guests than booked which was resolved. There was an issue with the check out times which seemed to be a Vrbo app one, not the fault of the owner. The actual checkout time is 10am, not 1pm as appeared on the listing. A 10am checkout time IMO is not reasonable. For us the owner agreed to stay until 11am. Recommend clearing this up with the owner ahead of time.
