Newfound Lake Studio: BBQ, Fire Pit & Beach Access

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad you found the place clean and enjoyed the convenient location near the beach. It means a lot to hear guests had a great 5-star experience, and we hope it made for a relaxing stay.

We’re glad you enjoyed the screened-in porch and rocking chairs. The cabin is listed as a studio, and the photos are intended to accurately show its compact, one-room layout and rustic design. We’re sorry the space did not meet your expectations and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Hi Christine, we shared your review with the homeowner, who would like to offer the following response: Unfortunately, we did not receive any emails, texts, or calls from the guest. After thoroughly reviewing all of our email accounts and communication records, we were unable to locate any correspondence. We sincerely apologize for any issues experienced during the stay and wish we had been contacted so we could have addressed them promptly. We truly appreciate your input, as it helps us and the homeowner continue to enhance the guest experience and maintain the high standard of service. Thank you again, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us for future travels.

Marcia, we hope you had an enjoyable stay overall! While this listing does not advertise that it has internet, we're so sorry if that caught you off guard. The owner plans to implement internet capabilities next year for the comfortability of their guests. If there's anything else we can do to provide a 5-star experience, please don't hesitate to reach out! Best, the Evolve Team

Hi Lynn, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the cottage and its beautiful views! It is common for vacation rentals in this area not to provide linens, and we have found that it is more convenient for guests to bring their own rather than coordinate with a linen service. Travelers can also see that cable and internet are not provided before they book, but the homeowner provides DVDs and games if guests are looking for indoor entertainment. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we look forward to traveling with you again soon! Best, the Evolve Team

Dawn, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "Thank you so much for staying at my property. I hope you were able to enjoy your stay by the lake despite these inconveniences. I apologize for the ants. I would have gladly sent over a Pest Control company if it had been brought to my attention. Of all people, I completely understand that no one likes to share their vacation with insects! Unfortunately, leaving that note up about cleaning before you check-out was an oversight on my end. This was posted before we were able to hire a consistent cleaner and will be replaced with more accurate information the next time that I get a chance to go up there. The price may seem high, but from what I have heard, it is a pretty average fee that companies charge around there. I do know that it gets incredibly warm in the summer, and only minimal relief comes from the windows being opened up. I'm sorry if the stay was unbearable at any point due to the heat. I am currently shopping for solutions. Per the condo association, we aren't allowed to have the standard window air conditioning units. I hope you were still able to enjoy your weekend. Again I apologize for these issues that you have brought to my attention. I hope you have a great rest of the summer! I will do my best to try and improve this property!" Best, the Evolve Team
