This picturesque farmhouse is a residence graced by an awe-inspiring view of the North Saskatchewan river, breathtaking ravine and the surrounding countryside. This 112-year-old homestead has been refinished and filled with vintage touches as a tribute to the nostalgia and comfort that “Grandma’s House” can bring. Enjoy the land with wildlife watching and hiking to the river, fishing and canoeing. Cozy up to the fire pit and listen to the snap crackle into the night or fill the house with laughter as you play board games together. Also a cozy cabin with a real wood fire. There is an event space that is available for Rustic small weddings or family gatherings etc. at an additional charge depending on the event. Have a look at a short film made there. 5/5 – Perfect Spot for a Celebration!

We had my sister’s ring ceremony here with around 40–50 guests, and the property was amazing. The main house, cabin, party area, and saloon were all well-kept and spacious. The trail to the river with a cozy cabin along the way was a lovely bonus. Beautiful views all around — we recommend staying 3–5 days to fully enjoy everything. Great place just outside Saskatoon!

Getting acquainted happily

It is a beautiful location along the North Saskatchewan River, with the wooded hills rolling beyond the other shore. The property features a deep, lush ravine, at the bottom of which a creek has been turned into a series of lagoons by beavers. Now that spring has arrived, many migratory birds can be heard. We could stay only one night, but felt relaxed and inspired by the experience.

Writing Retreat

The farm house is an excellent place for a writing retreat. The beautiful setting and quiet surroundings were perfect. The rooms were comfortable. Our host was most kind. Thank you.

quiet, beautiful, comfortable, relaxing

We have stayed here several times now. It's a much anticipated get-away for us. Once again, a great stay in a beautiful location. Always enjoy the wildlife as well. This time many deer and three moose. Nice hikes along and into the river valley too. There are many different spaces to explore on the property and enjoy. We'll be back.

Beautiful & Cozy Hideaway!

This was the perfect hideaway to cozy up with some friends! The views on the property are spectacular and Jarvis was a fantastic host and was available whenever we needed. I highly recommend and we will be back for future stays at Grandma's House.

Lovely Getaway

My husband, two kids and puppy had a great time! It was nice to submerge ourselves in nature. We loved Jarvis' new "cowboy bbq" area the most... we had a fire in the evening in this area and it was magical. This would be a great place for any event in the county, big or small. Thanks for having us!

Amazing Amazing... Jarvis and his sister are the best soul in this world, they are great host.My car fell in ditch, Jarvis came and struggle for more than an hour to pull it out in bad weather.
