This picturesque farmhouse is a residence graced by an awe-inspiring view of the North Saskatchewan river, breathtaking ravine and the surrounding countryside. This 112-year-old homestead has been refinished and filled with vintage touches as a tribute to the nostalgia and comfort that “Grandma’s House” can bring. Enjoy the land with wildlife watching and hiking to the river, fishing and canoeing. Cozy up to the fire pit and listen to the snap crackle into the night or fill the house with laughter as you play board games together. Also a cozy cabin with a real wood fire. There is an event space that is available for Rustic small weddings or family gatherings etc. at an additional charge depending on the event. Have a look at a short film made there. Such a beautiful and unique place. Perfect for family gatherings, weddings, any time! Reasonable rates Jarvis is a wonderful host. He went out of his way to show us around. I cant say enough about the beauty of the place! A real gem!!
We had our wedding in February, the building was used as our venue. The snow allowed us to get amazing pictures. The outdoor space easily had enough space for us and managed to keep us warm.
Great property and great place to stay, spectacular views and a great party room we had our wedding there all of our guests and us enjoyed the property, Jarvis is a great host as well
We had an incredible time at this property and Jarvis was so welcoming and kind. He has put a tremendous amount of work and love into creating a wonderful destination property for group gatherings. We stayed in the farm house which was lovely. As the name implies, it truly feels like you are at grandmas house. Super cute old farm home, well decorated, stocked and very clean! We will most definitely be back to this place in the future!!
Thank you for the wonderful experience to stay in Grandma's House! The accommodation exceeded expectations. Cleanliness, comfort, and service were all excellent. The host made us feel welcome throughout. And we truly enjoyed our time and would happily come back. Indeed, a must visit place. Cheers!
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Wonderful house and property. All the comforts and couldn't ask for a better location in the country.
What a wonderful location tor happy, active ten-year-olds. Tons of great places to explore and activities to try out. Those kids slaughtered me at badminton.
This is a unique stay which is great if you want fun, a little rustic, and lots of space to spread out. We had 6 ladies (only 5 overnight) which was a perfect size for the house. We had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed taking our snacks, drinks and games over to the granary for hanging out and having a good time. The views on the property are amazing!
The home and property were just as pictured online. Beautifully maintained from the early 1900s, with modern conveniences attached. We easily found our way through the kitchen and cooked all of our meals in the house. While we explored the other buildings on the property we didn't use them as it was November and there were only 3 of us.
Perfect place to host Thanksgiving dinner! Everyone loved walking around the property which is so beautiful! Comfortable place to stay and as always Jarvis is a great host.
This was our third stay and we'll be back. It's a wonderful house to stay in on a beautiful property overlooking the North Saskatchewan River. We loved it.
What an amazing property! It was a perfect long weekend getaway for two families with one teenager each. Check in was pretty small town - we showed up and staff were there and the house was open. The kitchen had everything we needed and rooms were comfortable. We ate outdoors most of the time. No need to leave the property — lots of room to hike and explore.
This was the perfect hideaway to cozy up with some friends! The views on the property are spectacular and Jarvis was a fantastic host and was available whenever we needed. I highly recommend and we will be back for future stays at Grandma's House.
We had my sister’s ring ceremony here with around 40–50 guests, and the property was amazing. The main house, cabin, party area, and saloon were all well-kept and spacious. The trail to the river with a cozy cabin along the way was a lovely bonus. Beautiful views all around — we recommend staying 3–5 days to fully enjoy everything. Great place just outside Saskatoon!
