About this property

Amazing Mountain Views and Summer Discounts!

Hello and welcome to our home!

You will be staying in the walkout level of our house. It has nine foot ceilings. Although this is also our home, there is NO shared space. The 1500 sq ft rental is completely private for you.

We have the very best views of Lake Dillon and the entire Ten Mile Range. We are located in the best spot of Summit County - Dillon. We are central to all of the ski resorts in Summit County yet can offer quiet luxury. Keystone is 8 miles from our home and Copper is 13 miles away. Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Vail are also in very close driving range. In addition, Lake Dillon can be seen from our property (but not walkable). Everything you need including super markets, restaurants, the outlet mall and highway access, are all in very close to proximity to the home. Our amenities and décor is fantastic and modern. We have granite counter tops throughout, copper fixtures, a giant copper bathtub and a fantastic indoor steam sauna/shower. All beds are very comfortable with high quality linens and plenty of pillows to choose from. You have your own front loading washer and dryer. There are 2 televisions with a DirecTV and a DVD player. We also have a cozy gas fireplace that you can warm up to when the nights get cool. We have plenty of patio furniture on your own deck so you can enjoy the view of the mountains from your private patio. We have a private hot tub right outside your door.
This is the perfect location if you'd like a bit of seclusion, beautiful views of the mountains and the lake but yet proximity to get to the places you'll want to enjoy. This is a great area for skiers and non-skiers alike. There is so much to see and do and you will have a great launching pad from our home in Dillon.

The winter options are endless and we continue to find new things every season. You won't be disappointed. We are happy to provide recommendations and tips. We ourselves are avid travelers and believe in providing high quality at a reasonable price. Everything is provided for here. You don't have to worry about bringing your own towels or supplies. If you need it, we have it and will provide it. We want to ensure that our guests return. We are thrilled to have so many returning guests who book with us again the minute they check out. Cheers!

**Please note that in winter months, an all wheel (4WD) vehicle is required for our private road and to adhere to the traction laws on our interstates.

Pets: I'm sorry but pets are only allowed with stays 21 days or longer.

Well located, comfortable and very enjoyable home with great views. The for of us enjoyed evening hot tubs following meals cooked together. Could not have asked for better accommodations for the two nights we stayed and day of skiing at Keystone!

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly roomy and comfortable, with absolutely awesome views that made it even more special. The hot tub was a huge plus and the perfect way to relax. We were also greeted by the cutest cat, which made us feel right at home. Amy was super accommodating and made everything so easy. We’d definitely stay here again!

The home and the view was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family vacation. The kids were in awe as it was their first time up to the mountains. Amy and her husband were very accommodating and helpful. We saw some wildlife and our two new fav vacation cats, Bear and Willie! We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and so relaxing. The hot tub was excellent, the copper tub was relaxing, and I swore we heard wolfs howling in the distance while we drank our morning coffee on a cloudy day. I couldnt have asked for a better stay. Amy and Justin were wonderful host and SO friendly. We will most definitely be back.

Great location we felt like we were totally away from the hustle and bustle. But in five minutes, we could be in town and get anything that we needed. The steam shower was incredible. The hot tub has an amazing view. Host was very easy to work with great communication and very quick to get back with you if you had a question.

Stunning moutian views and great hospitality

Amy, our host, was super helpful and courteous. She greeted us and went over some key features that the lodging had to offer. It was a beautiful place with a private hot tub and patio over looking the moutains. We had the best experience and would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful mountain home

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is just a few minutes from all the action, but yet you are in a very quiet neighborhood with only a few houses. The views are amazing. Tough to beat sitting in the hot tub after a big day on the slopes. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

This place is in the perfect spot to get away from the crowds but, close enough to everything. The view from the porch is breathtaking and we’re happy we chose this location. Amy and Justin were very kind and helpful to us during our stay. I only wish we had more time to stay.

Very nice property. It was nice to wake up to the beautiful view of Lake Dillon.

The property was clean and spacious. You can tell it is well cared for. The steam shower was amazing!! And the drive to skiing wasn't bad. Really easy to get to frisco, Breckinridge and Copper.

The BEST

We had a wonderful time! Hostess Amy welcomed us and showed us the ‘lay of the land’- very helpful! The kitchen was beyond well equipped! The beds and bathrooms were awesome!! And the views were simply incredible. We look forward to staying here again- hopefully!

Great place!

We very much enjoyed staying at this property, the view is nothing short of amazing. Amy was super great to work with, such wonderful people. Breathtaking scenery and hospitality

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ptarmigan Farm. Our hosts, Amy and Justin, were the epitome of host: offering a welcoming bottle of wine, willing to stock the refrigerator before our late night arrival and offering specific recommendations and a map for hiking routes. They went 'above-and-beyond' to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we did. It was exceptional and we heartily recommend them as hosts for your vacation.

Most beautiful view

Private location but close to the lake, hiking trails and restaurants. Very comfortable accomodations. Host Amy is very professional, friendly and responsive. Great hot-tub, and the most beautiful view i've ever seen in Colorado (I'm a CSU grad). Hope to return next year.

Unique and comfy

Great place with a one of a kind view for VRBO’s. Nice people who are present on site. Everything works and is nice from the hot tub and grill to all inside appliances. Clean place with all you need. Really nice shower and tub.

Loved it!

This place is exactly like the photos, if not even better. Incredible views from all doors/windows. Very quiet and peaceful, and also feels very private. Host was amazing and accommodating, providing great recommendations upon arrival, and always quick to respond to communications. We definitely hope to return!

Summit County ski trip

The spacious interior was upstaged only by the amazing mountain views, including from the private hot tub! The bedding was especially high quality, and there were plenty of towels and extra toiletries if needed. The ski boot warmer was a nice extra. Thanks to Amy and Justin, who are gracious and pleasant hosts. Can't wait to go back!

Escape to the Mountains

We really enjoyed our stay in Dillon. The accommodations were very comfortable and the view of the mountains breathtaking. The finishes in the interior were top notch. Amy was a great host and was very helpful in answering any questions. The steam shower was amazing! The hot tub had the same great view of the mountains looking down on Lake Dillon! Very relaxing, yet a great central location to get to nearby towns and attractions..

Exceeded our expectations

Amy and Justin were the most gracious hosts. Their place was super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. You can’t beat the view, hot tub and covered patio with grill etc. WiFi and cable TV and great location close to ski resorts, many restaurant choices and market. We are definitely going back!
