Walk to Town 41B Alpine Chalet is a self contained apartment on Lomond Crescent, Queenstown, with lake and mountain views, contemporary finishes, and the Ben Lomond walking and mountain biking trail right on the doorstep. It sleeps up to four guests and suits couples, two friends travelling together, or a small family looking for a modern, well located Queenstown base.

Sleeping arrangements: there is one private queen bedroom, and the second queen bed is in the open plan living area, so the space is best suited to guests who are comfortable sharing an open living area. Both beds are made up with crisp white linen and electric blankets, a detail that matters in Queenstown where evenings turn cold quickly in any season.

The kitchenette is well equipped for light self catering, with a microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, ideal for breakfast before heading out for the day. Please note this is a kitchenette rather than a full kitchen. The fully tiled bathroom is reached via a hallway from the living area, and feature lighting and a smart TV give the interior a polished, considered finish.

41B sits at driveway level beneath 41A, with its own private entrance and no stairs to climb. Please note the driveway up to the property is steep, so take care when driving, particularly in wet or icy conditions. Dedicated off street parking is provided.

While the building above carries the classic alpine character of painted timber beams, 41B has its own identity, light and contemporary with clean lines throughout. Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables are visible from the property.

The Ben Lomond Trail connects directly from Lomond Crescent into some of the best walking and mountain biking terrain above Queenstown, with routes ranging from accessible ridgeline walks to a full summit climb with sweeping views across the Southern Alps.

Central Queenstown is a short walk away, putting restaurants, bars, the lakefront, Steamer Wharf, Queenstown Gardens and the gondola base station all within easy reach on foot. Arrowtown is a 25 minute drive, Coronet Peak ski field approximately 30 minutes, and The Remarkables around 40 minutes.

For groups needing more space, Walk to Town 41A Alpine Chalet on the upper level of the same building sleeps six across three bedrooms and can be booked separately.
