About this property

DiLido: fantastic SoBe location, pool and private garden

 This fine art deco condo is located only 2 blocks from the beach and from Lincoln Rd. It has a pool and a private garden which are rarities in SoBe period buildings. Offering contemporary design with elegant, luxury finishes, the Di Lido is refined in every detail.
We proudly offer a NON-SMOKING environment. You can enjoy all of your meals and cocktails outside on our private, EXCLUSIVE-USE garden patio. 
Our apartment features a KING-size Memory foam bed for extraordinary comfort, a double sofa bed in the living room, Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors throughout, travertine marble bath with glass-walled 'rain' shower, WiFi internet, 2 x TV's, Bose iPod music player, full kitchen facilities including fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher.
Pets are not allowed in the building. We have on-site laundry facilities (pay per use) conveniently located just across the hall. All bed and bath linens are provided along with iron and ironing board, beach towels, chairs and, parasol.
The owner once asked a real estate agent for a SoBe art deco apartment, close to the beach and with a pool and a private garden just to hear that such a product wouldn't exist... Much later, the broker found the needle in the haystack... Probably the only property that matched such a description at the time. The condo was bought on the spot and has since remained a unique place in town.
This location is ideal for beach access, shopping and restaurants (Lincoln Road, Española Way, Ocean Drive) and the clubs; yet it is strategically at a distance from the noise of the strip. You absolutely do not need a car if you decide to stay in South beach, everything is within easy walking distance or a short cab ride. We are situated only 2 blocks to the beach, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, Española Way and 3 blocks to the Convention Center - everything is within easy walking distance.
Like most period buildings in Miami Beach, we do not have dedicated parking; however, there are two public parking structures situated only 2 blocks away.
There is a CitiBike station in front of the building.
*The property is rented on a self-catered basis. As such, we provide some basic amenities such as toilet paper, soap etc. in order to facilitate your arrival but it's our guest's responsibility to replenish as needed.

Do not book here. Listing is inaccurate. NOT clean.

Where to start. First of all, the listing says it can sleep four because they have a king sized bed and a sofa bed. The “sofa bed” is just a sofa. A stained sofa. They expect you to make it a double bed but taking off the top cushion and laying it on the ground next to the bottom part, the box spring. The bottom part is not meant to be sat on, let alone slept on! We could not use it for sleeping, and again we were expecting two sleepable beds. Then, the apartment itself was dirty. Leftover hair on the shower walls. Left over food in the fridge. Dust and cobwebs. Debris in some of the storage spaces. Not sure why they charge a cleaning fee when you can tell it has not been deep cleaned. Also, as soon as you walk in the apartment you can smell it’s moldy and damp. Also: the door to the “private enclosed back garden patio” did not open! When we contacted the host she said “just be patient with it”…. Truly we regret renting this place. The only positive was the location. Location was amazing.

Great Location!

Property is nice but needs painting. Furniture is okay and towels need replacing. On a good note, the property is perfectly located. Patty, the housekeeper had the place nice and clean and was willing to help if we needed anything.

Great location only 2 blocks to Ocean Drive and beach. Very comfortable king size bed, Ms Patty property manager is Awesome! Great communication. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Good Location/Mediocre Property

The location is great, right next to española way and near lots of restaurants. Very easy walk to the beach and has a bike rental right out front. The apartment was ok. Small and simple. It wasn’t deep cleaned but was clean enough to stay. The contact person was not quick to respond and the people working on the property were brusque. Would recommend for anyone on a budget who wants to stay in the area but it was not up to the cleanliness standard I’ve seen at other VRBOs.
