The location had plenty of space for our group to spread out! It had a large backyard, plenty of games, and lots of sleeping spaces. Highly recommend if you have a group of friends or family visiting the Tahoe area.

Great value
This home accommodated 13 people comfortably for a week. Bonnie is VERY helpful and easy to deal with, truly no hassle. It's hard to beat this level of accommodation at this location for the price. Backyard is fully enclosed which is especially nice if you have dogs. Fireplace and shuffleboard rule. Living room is very comfortable. Furnishings and bedding could be updated, but considering the price... it's still a deal.

Excellent Choice for Large Family
Our large family of 16 converged on South Lake Tahoe from 3 different states. We all stayed at the Harvard House which we found to have more than enough room for every one of us! Not only was there plenty of room and breathing space, there was plenty of entertainment for the kids ages 1 to 50! Fully fenced large back yard with a play structure for the little ones to enjoy the outdoors and many gaming tables inside for evening fun for the adults. Excellent location as it is a mere mile or so from Pope Beach (our favorite) or Camp Richardson, both which provide rentals for water activity on the lake. Raley's grocery (full service) or mini markets/liquor stores are nearby for last minute grocery run. The owners were very responsive when we had just a couple of items that needed addressed. Quiet neighborhood. The only reason I don't give a full 5 stars is that we would have loved air conditioning (most of us from Pacific NW where we are used to cooler weather), although they did provide fans. And a we had just a couple minor/fixable items during the stay.

Perfect family, kid, pet vacation home!
We booked this house last weekend (October 2014) and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Our group included three adult couples, two small children (ages 4 and 6) and four small dogs. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for my husband and I and our two children. The kids slept in the bunk beds and we slept across from them in the king bed. Once the kids went to sleep we shut the door and went downstairs to play shuffleboard, pool, games etc. and the kids couldn't hear a sound!! The adults loved the provided games and Jacuzzi, our kids and the dogs loved the huge yard and play set. Bonnie was very pleasant to work with, she answered our questions quickly and thoroughly, the check-in process was just as simple as turning the key in the front door of your own home. The house wasn't too cold when we walked in; however, we did bump up the heat. The Jacuzzi was hot and inviting. We ran through the provided toilet paper and paper towels quickly; however, Bonnie was clear up front with what she offered so we knew we were going to have to run to the supermarket. We also had to purchase our own laundry detergent; however, we left 3/4 of the bottle behind for the next guests. The house was clean and decorated just right. I hate rentals with a lot of clutter. The kitchen was stocked with all the right cooking tools, the beds were clean and there was plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels. The shower pressure was decent and the water was hot. The location was perfect for our family; we visited Emerald Bay lookout and drove to Stateline each about 10-minutes away from the house. The boys rode bicycles they found in the garage, which there was a bike pump provided as well. The only recommendation I have for Bonnie is to maybe get a better blow dryer, as the only one provided doesn't blow hot air; also, there wasn't hand soap in each bathroom. My family and I plan on coming back to this house when there is snow!!!

The house was set up perfectly for multiple couples! Plenty of games to play and the hot tub was awesome. It's also not too far from the casinos. Will definitely be staying here again!
The owner Kris was very easy to get in touch with. The house was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. If you love playing pool, shuffle board, cornhole, foosball, badminton, horse shoes, volleyball, and darts. This is the house! My entire group loved this place and would love to rent it the next time we are in Tahoe. Even had a hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking nearby.
We were a family of 7 adults and 4 children. We really enjoyed our stay at this house. With 3 full baths and several sleep areas, there was plenty of room to accommodate our group and provide quiet areas for those who wanted to step back for awhile. The grassy backyard with 10 beautiful trees was a great place to relax, play volleyball or kids use the play structure. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and appliances that were in good condition. Towels and linens were good. Overall the house was clean. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Although we brought bikes for most, it was great that they had 2 bikes available at the house. In the evenings we used the kitchen table for games while others watched the Olympic games on the big screen. We also streamed a few movies as time allowed. The rustic decor was really cute. Overall we would recommend this house and would return. Now for the negatives. The house has an overpowering odor of disinfectants, air "fresheners" and what else (?). The dishwasher has a horrible odor. Maybe the drain needs to be cleaned. When we were there we kept the windows open which helped a lot. Most disappointing was the hot tub which had a huge dose of chlorine and could not be used for the first 2 days. The description calls out a 5th bedroom with a bunk and twin. We never found this room LOL. There is a VERY small room attached to the 4th BR that has 2 bunks - no 5th BR. There are many small issues that a handyperson could correct in a day's time. Finally the windows and doors are not secure with easily compromised locks. Screens are bent or missing. We just had to trust that the community was crime free. We had no problems. If you are expecting a Hilton experience, this is not the house for you. But if you can overlook a few imperfections and need a lot of room, this fits the bill.
This home was used for a 3-night family vacation for six adults and four children, ages 2-9.
Check in process: Super easy. We all traveled to Tahoe from different locations, so we didn't know who would get to the house first. Luckily, the check-in process was so simple it didn't matter who showed up first! Kris was very responsive, even to the couple of texts I sent to him after we checked in to the house.
Location: In a very nice, tree-lined, quiet neighborhood that worked great for the four kids and their bicycles. It wasn't really walking or biking distance to the beach, but we were just a short drive away. No restaurants in walking distance, but they were also just a short drive away.
House: The house is definitely not a show piece, but it was very clean and comfortable. The fact that it wasn't in pristine condition made our stay quite comfortable and enjoyable with the four young kids. The layout was a bit strange, but perfect for us as there were three families staying at the house, and all three families had their own section of the home with their own bathroom. There was a very large, fenced yard that allowed the kids to run free and have a great time together.
Entertainment: Tons of stuff for the kids (and adults) to stay busy. Shuffleboard, pool table, foosball table, outside play structure (although it is in need of major repair and one area is quite dangerous - but parts of it are still usable and the kids had fun), There are three TV's, and one of them had streaming service. Not sure about the other two as we didn't turn them on very often, but they're available if needed. There was a horseshoe pit, volleyball net (but we didn't find a volleyball), and two adult bikes available in the garage. There is also a tandem bicycle, but the chain didn't work when we tried it. It would be great fun if it was in working condition. There is a 1-2 person sauna in what looks to be the "master" bedroom. The big hit was the hot tub which was used multiple times during the day. There is a gas barbecue which we used one night for "steak night." It worked great and seemed to be in good condition. There is also a briquet barbecue available, but we didn't use it.
Bottom line: Highly recommend for a combined family vacation. Lots of things to stay busy even if you don't leave the house, but just a short drive to everything else in South Lake Tahoe.
This property was a perfect escape. Holding 10+ people is never easy, and to do so in a way that still feels spacious is even more difficult. But this cabin did precisely that. It had family rooms, couple rooms, and singles. It has a spacious backyard with a volleyball net and grill to hold barbecues. If you prefer to cook a few nights, this space had a crockpot, multiple pans, baking sheets, coffee maker, and more!
My friends and I instantly felt at home here. Thank you for having us!!

Beat & Not Very Clean
We liked the location but everything was beat and stained, including carpet and furniture. Lots of things were sticky like the pool and gaming tables. There were ping pong paddles but no tables, horse shoe posts but no horse shoes, volleyball net but no volleyball... we needed a few things in the kitchen to cook/bake and they didn’t have much compared to other rentals we’ve stayed at. I would never stay here unless I was 18 and I had 20 of my friends and we just wanted a place to stay at while skiing and we could have a drunken brawl.

We are coming out of winter earlier than expected, and the outside games aren't available yet , there is some snow around the property. The house has brand new carpet. House is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. The house is professionally cleaned each and every time. It is always recommended to read the check in details as it states what We Do supply at the house, And if anything is in question upon arrival, We are a phone call away. We want guests to have a great time at the house. We replace any worn, broken furniture regularly.
This entire cabin/house was amazing. Everything was perfect. The only item I'd be specifically criticizing on would be the wifi connection. It needs to be a stronger and better service provider for the wifi. It was not a strong and clear signal.
Many entertainment activities in the home and close by. We had an issue with the spa and Kris was over the next morning to fix it up. There were a few issues I informed Kris about after we left so he was aware of them (as you don't know unless you stay/live there). One issue was handled before we got home 😀and I am sure he will address the couple others. Would return again!
The cabin was really nice and had a beautiful backyard. We enjoyed playing with the volleyball net. Inside was nice me clean me very roomy. Although the WiFi was a little slow and beds were a little uncomfortable. Besides that your cabin is nice and your have it organized beautiful.
Had a great four nights at this cabin. With conditions the way they are (COVID-related), we winded up spending most of our time at the cabin, but it was all good. Bedrooms were nice and cozy. Good hot tub and grill for outdoor grilling and relaxing. Lots of other activities inside made the place more like a cool hangout. I would highly recommend this property if anyone asks for properties in South Lake Tahoe. Thank you!
Awesome location, beautiful and spacious property. Host was super responsive and cooperative. He did let us check our late. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the neighborhood.
Had a great time celebrating Christmas with our family. The accommodations were perfect for my husband and myself along with our two sons and their families.
