This lovely, lakefront, log cabin is privately situated on ten acres featuring shade trees, open fields and 200 feet of sandy Lake Huron frontage. This 3600 square foot year round home has spectacular views of the lake from most rooms.

Huge two-story great room features natural stone-covered fireplace and floor to ceiling windows-perfect for watching the sunrise over Lake Huron.

Kitchen features Quartz countertops and large eating area. First floor den has TV/DVD and door wall that leads to secluded deck.

All bedrooms are carpeted. Ceramic tile in bathrooms on first floor. First floor laundry room. Basement offers large recreation room with pool table, ping pong table, and cable TV. The living room, dining room and kitchen overlook beautiful Lake Huron. Most bedrooms have new mattresses!

This property is uniquely suited for small retreats, workshops, family reunions and weddings. It is especially quiet, and the beach nearly deserted.

Note: Our property is located in a residential area. There are strict noise ordinances that do not allow any loud music past 10:30pm. First violation of noise ordinance will result in loss of damage deposit. the second violation of noise ordinance will result in termination of lease.

WEDDINGS: the maximum number of guests allowed for a wedding is 100 for the log home and 125 if both homes are rented. if you wish to have a tent and/or a DJ they must be from the homeowners recommended list.

This was our 2nd stay here. We really enjoyed it. The place is perfect for a big group. The only issue we had was a bat flying around the house on Saturday night and when I messaged the owner I didn't hear back until the next morning. I'm not sure what he could have done about it any ways, but it would have been nice to hear something. The place is very clean and very stocked with everything you can possibly need. We did wish there were a few more extra blankets just because it was cold, but we survived. We are definitely planning to come back again! This place is perfect for our girls weekend.

We have 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren. We have been renting a large house each summer to have everyone together. Our most recent stay this last week on Lake Huron has been wonderful! The view and sunrises were beautiful. The home accommodated our 3-generational family of 16 very well. This was the best-stocked kitchen we've had in our 12 years of vacation rentals. The beach was large and sandy, but swim shoes are recommended for entering the water's edge to swim due to stones. Easy path to bring down our kayaks for boating. If your family has little ones under 3, bring a wide gait for the 2nd-story staircase.
