About this property

Close to Coast - Footsteps to One Mile Beach!

Just a stone’s throw from Forster’s magnificent One Mile Beach - a dog friendly, patrolled surf beach with huge sand dunes.

This North facing holiday house overlooks the park, surf club and ocean. Simply walk across the road to swim, surf, walk the dog, fish, let the children play in the playground or grab a coffee before your beach walk. Sit back and relax on your own wraparound verandah that captures the sea breezes, ocean and park views and watch the world pass by.

This house has a good size living area and kitchen, with both opening to the deck providing indoor and outdoor eating options. There is a large screen TV in the loungeroom and two split system air conditioning units. The kitchen has an electric cooktop (no oven), microwave and breakfast bar. Brand new BBQ on the deck. Rear paved backyard. Double garage plus side access for additional car and boat. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. There is also an outdoor shower which is great to freshen up after an ocean swim.

Whilst this property does allow you to bring along a pet, all animals must be kept outdoors at all times. Please respect these rules as your pets may inadvertently cause damages and leave lingering smells that are intrusive to other guests, as well as possibly incur charges for the extra cleaning required.

A 500AUD bond applies to all bookings by way of a preauthorisation on a valid credit card.

Great location

The property was a short walk from the beach and handy to drive to shops and facilities. We enjoyed our walks on the beach with the dog and our time in the area. The propoerty had some maintenance and repair issues which were reported to the manager who undertook to sort them out.

Our stay was ok, but certainly for the price we expected more.Only advised of no internet after booking confirmed and paid.Working from this property is not possible. No reception and no wi-fi.This proved problematic for one guest who needed to work.this is unusual for 2022 and an easy fix by the owners.Advertised as having Nespresso machine (no pods) so we purchased a week supply of Nespresso pods. No Nespresso machine.Advertised smart TVs. No smart tvs.Property is for 8 adults.Dishwasher is a 2 person drawer dishwasher suited to a small apartment. Not functional for an 8 person property.Listed with no oven, but a holiday rental for 8 people should have a fully appointed kitchen.House cleaned on previous departure, but house obviously not occupied for a long period. It should have had a pre-arrival clean so we found ourselves cleaning on arrival. Managing agent service average.This house still needs some work for the rental price. Part the way there. One Mile Beach is nice. Walk to beach short.

Great location, lovely view

This house was in a great location and view from the balcony was lovely. Check in process was easy. Place was mostly clean except for some pistachio shells dotted around the place on the floor and a beer bottle with cigarette butts left on the balcony. Otherwise, very clean, The property has no wifi available and the mobile reception in the house is almost non-existent, so would suggest perhaps setting up wifi access for the property. Other than that, great stay, would definitely stay again if wifi was organised :)

Cliff Rd home

Great location walk to beach. Lovely big living area. Sheets, towels, toiletries provided which was a surprise. Plenty of space for our group of 7. However kitchen is small with convection microwave (without instructions). Bathrooms are small and could do with an update. Instructions for appliances should be provided. A few games and books would be useful.

Great Location

Fantastic dog friendly house with plenty of space. Across the road from the park and beautiful dog friendly One Mile Beach. Loved relaxing on the huge balcony overlooking the beach.

A good doggie holiday

This is a great place to stay with your furry friends. The place has seen some wear and tear but what you would expect for a place that allows pets. Great location, back yard is fenced and safe to leave pets for a short while. Note: no oven and we couldn’t get the barbecue to work (could have been user error!)... overall we give 4 stars!

2 cliff rd Forster

The property was not very clean, and the garage door would not lock. Had a lot of spiders . The view was amazing even able to view whales playing in the ocean. Park across the road good for young kids, pets or a ball game. The street corner had a lot of near traffic misses.
