Luxury Boutique Accommodation Metung

Sunsets365 is a luxury modern, self-contained accommodation for couples, overlooking Lake King at Metung. Enjoying a spectacular sunset each night, that's Sunsets365. Just a short walk to the Metung Country Club and Hot Springs with public golf course. Access is via a spiral staircase to your private balcony which has an uninterrupted magnificent view of Lake King and the mountains beyond. Dolphin Cove, just to your right attracts several species of Victorian raptors and other native animals.
Built in 2016, Sunsets365 accommodates two guests, with an en-suite bathroom next to a separate large bedroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the luxury bathroom has fluffy towels and twin basins. Handmade unique furniture items are featured throughout the apartment.
Both the lounge area and bedroom have floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which open to the balcony looking out to a 270 deg view over Lake King and the mountains beyond.
The lounge dining area has two leather sofas providing comfortable positions to take in the spectacular view in any weather. There is a large wall mounted smart TV and many books to sit back and relax with. There is also a telescope to use located in the lounge area.
The studio style kitchen features microwave oven, induction hotplate, mini oven, sink, exhaust fan, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (incl pods) and an under-bench fridge.
Rest assured that with two ceiling fans and a brand new Fujitsu reverse cycle aircon, Sunsets365 is cosy and comfortable any time of the year in any weather.
Wake to the magnificent view by raising the electric blinds via remote control from your bed and enjoy your first cup of the day watching the birds feed in the bird feeder located in front or if you are lucky watch dolphins play in Lake King.
You will arrive to find chilled sparkling wine and handmade chocolates waiting for you to enjoy.
Sunsets365 truly has the wow factor! The view goes on as far as you can see, and provides a different spectacular sunset each day. Sunsets365 is all about relaxing, winding down and doing as much or as little as you please.
Access to Sunsets365 is via your own private side gate entry and spiral staircase to the balcony entry door.

The hostess was friendly, helpful and efficient. The Apartment was spotlessly clean with every facility and piece of kitchen equipment you could possibly need. Pure Luxury

From day 1 with this booking I was aware my host was doing her utmost to ensure my stay was the best it could be. I asked questions re the property, I asked questions re local tourist attractions and was always met with a friendly responses and great information. The property itself is amazing. I was worried about privacy but no need to be. The view is so serene and I left the most relaxed I've been in a long time. Its well equipped, spotless, quality fittings and furnishings and everything you'd need. A quick drive into the village of Metung, Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale aren't far away either, and a great foothold if you are planning on exploring The Lakes. During my stay there were storms and I had one of the best vantage points to watch Mother Nature display her best. Can't wait to go back.

I grew up in a village in Cheshire, United Kingdom. At the age of 19 I joined the Royal Air Force and spent 22 years serving my country. During this time I traveled a lot and developed a love of snow skiing. It was during a military ski competition/training trip that I met my husband Danny who was skiing with the Australian Air Force. We married and I moved over to Australia to begin a new life. Our son Max came along and over the years we have been lucky enough to enjoy downhill skiing in many parts of Europe, Canada and the US. After owner building then managing a holiday accommodation in the Snowy Mountains for 10 years we moved to Metung.

Why they chose this property

My husband (Danny), our son (Max), myself (Caroline) and our two beautiful beagles (Baxter and Bella) came across Metung almost by accident. We drove into the village one day looking for a coffee shop on our way back from visiting Raymond Island. We enjoyed our short stay on the island but Metung village blew us away. We knew there and then that we wanted to spend as much time as possible in this amazing and relatively unknown by most, corner of the world. We soon moved from the Snowy Mountains, where we owned a holiday accommodation on the Lake Crackenback Resort, to Tambo Bluff where we fell in love with the property we call home.
