A beautiful, spacious villa that worked perfectly for two families. Pool was great as deeper than it looks but still shallow end for kids. Hosts were lovely and attentive and villa had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!Some lovely local restaurants in the area and lovely beach bay with bar just down the road. Do recommend you have a car as not much within walking distance.

We had a brilliant week with friends and toddlers at this lovely, spacious villa. Had everything we needed and the kids absolutely loved having a kids pool in addition to the main pool. Danny was a very helpful and quick to respond. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

I can highly recommend a stay at Villa Loukia. it was a perfect fit four our group of 7 adults and 3 kids. the outdoor area is outstanding, the view is exceptional and there's even a smaller pool for the youngest kids in addition to the larger one. don't hesitate to book your holiday at Villa Loukia.

This is a wonderful Villa and was ideal for a family celebration. The accommodation is of a high standard and the cleanliness and standards of all the rooms were excellent. Booking, check-in and communications with the owner were friendly, efficient and helpful. The Villa was perfect for entertaining a large group being very spacious allowing a great mixture for both group activities and privacy as required. The location was very convenient for access to beautiful beaches, small towns, excellent restaurants and Argostoli. All the maintenance staff we had the pleasure to meet were very helpful, kind and highly efficient. In summary this was the perfect Villa for our three week holiday of a mixed age group from 20 months to 70.

Amazing Holiday

This is the nicest villa we have stayed in the photos do not do any justice. It had everything you could possibly need and was immaculate. Daily gardener who also cleaned the pool and Malcolm came to check the pool during the week. The location is perfect with good views. Beach, shop, restaurant and bins all in walking distance. The island is beautiful and locals are friendly. A group of 9, we hired cars, visited many places, the caves, a private boat trip on Queen Bee from Agostoli, saw the turtles and a trip to Mount Anios. We are definitely going to book to stay again and very grateful to Danny for allowing us to stay in such a wonderful home.

Villa Loukia

Such a wonderful Villa -perfect for a week away with children and grandchildren - more and more time spent here in preference to other things. And the beach below was our unanimous favourite to those around. We loved using the BBQ and often preferred to stay in and to eat Greek style putting all the food and drinks in the middle of the table and everyone helping themselves. Also much easier for the kids that way and they could later do other things letting the grownups continue to relax with their meal. Such a setting! We have all had a lovely time

Girls trip

Stayed here with 6 women and it was perfect, everyone had their own bathroom. Also tons of mirrors! We loved having breakfast by the pool or on the balcony upstairs. It honestly felt too big of a house for us at times. The kitchen had everything we needed plus theres a mini grocery store down the street. Only wish the pool was heated but we did come in sept. The views from the villa are also amazing. We rented a car but also took taxis to Argostoli for drinks and dancing. Easy to book and cost €30. Danny was helpful and responded quickly to my questions.

The perfect villa

Villa Loukia is wonderful and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Beautiful views, well appointed and characterful rooms, great pool. The villa is ideal for a large two family group as there are so many areas to sit and enjoy either together or in separate small groups. Lovely local beach (walkable) with a bar and convenient shops and restaurants. I hesitate leaving such a positive review in case it gets harder to book for the future!

A beautiful villa. Every bit as lovely as it seemed on the web site.

We had a wonderful holiday based at Villa Loukia. My 15 year old grandaughter said it was 'like staying at the best hotel ever without any annoying people around'. The weather was fantastic, sunny and in the mid 20s for the whole of our stay. That meant that even though it was late March/early April we could use the swimming pools. It was about a 20 minute walk down to St Thomas beach, and we had it all to ourselves. The young people went swimming there too. Shopping in Karavados village was very limited this early in the season but there was a wonderful bakery about a mile or so away, and good supermarkets not much further. We had most of our meals sitting out on the terrace soaking up the sun and admiring the lovely view of the mountains. I cannot imagine a better place to have celebrated my 70th birthday.

My husband and i had the most amazing stay at Villa Loukia, every morning we took breakfast out in the beautiful garden over looking the pool and listened to the sound of the goat bells tinkling on all the goats as they made their way across the surrounding fields - sooo relaxing. The Villa itself was 5 star all the way and a wonderful luxory for our family at a very affordable price. The beaches are close by and it's a great location with regards to exploring the Island. The only negative is that no other holiday will live up to this one. I can't wait to go again.

A perfect family holiday choice

Villa Loukia was a perfect choice for us with 4 small grandchildren.A sandy beach with good tavernas only 5 minutes away and other bigger but busier sandy beaches within 20 minutes drive.The accomodation was very well appointed and the children loved the 2 pools.Very accessible from the airport which is a bonus.

Beautifully presented, a home from home, with ever

We had a wonderful family holiday. The villa was very comfortable and was able to take six adults and five children in comfortable accomodation mostly with ensuing bathrooms. The grandparents were even able to have their own suite on the ground floor away from the children The kitchen/barbeque equipment was superb. Two minutes from a sandy beach by car and some good tavernas nearby. I would recommend it to any family.

We are retired British owners living in A lovely village called Milland in West Sussex.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the island on our first visit to Kefalonia. This is a very special place for me and the family as my children are half Greek . Villa Loukia was built for us by my brother Malcolm Campbell in 2004 and is named after my daughter Loukia Avvakoumides.

What makes this property unique

Villa Loukia was designed by me and provides everything that I always wanted in a classical home. I am originally from Africa and the style is based on a traditional colonial style. We purchased the land because of the stunning mountain and sea views and also the close proximity to Argostoli and the airport with a choice of restaurants and beaches near by and within walking distance.
