The accommodation has on the 1st floor: open fire and TV in lounge area with 2 sofas. Large modern open plan kitchen adjacent to dining area. Downstairs toilet. Outside patio area with barbeque.
2nd floor: 2 bedrooms, one with 3 single beds and the other with a double bed. Balcony with sea views. Family bathroom.
3rd floor; large double bedroom with large en-suite "wet room" style shower room/wc and private balcony with sea views.

Outside: enclosed shaded patio with BBQ and seating.

Ideal for families and couples .
House in residential area.
We would kindly appreciate noise levels been considered between 10pm and 8am.

Estupenda casa familiar (sn piscina comunitaria)

La casa es cómoda, amplia, está bien decorada y tiene capacidad para una estancia agradable de siete personas. El propietario fue amable y nos contactó personalmente para facilitarnos la llegada. Había preparado un completo book con sugerencias para visitas y actividades por la zona. Las camas y los colchones eran adecuados, la cocina completa, un baño en cada piso y las zonas comunes amplias, con una decoración austera pero agradable y con mucha luz. Lo único que no cumplió las expectativas fue la piscina comunitaria, una de las razones de nuestra elección, que no estaba disponible.

Great house, quiet, hillside location. Well equipped with everything you need. Very adaptable sleeping arrangements. Great patio area to catch afternoon/evening sun. Pool lovely and quiet although is situated up a very steep hill at the rear of the property. Lovely beaches but you need a car to access them (there is a beach bus however the pick up is about a 20 min hilly walk away) When we booked we anticipated not needing a car due to the description pf the location of this property and location of the town. On arrival we realised it is very elevated and the town quite distant (at least 45min walk to town centre) so we had to hire a car (Go Rent a Car in town were great) Overall we had a great stay in this property!

Adorámos a nossa estadia

Adorámos a nossa estadia. A casa ė óptima, com boas areas, com tudo o que precisamos para passar umas ferias. Fica localizada num calmo bairro de miradias a 5 minutos de carro das praias e da vila da Ericeira. Infelizmente não tivemos acesso å piscina porque tinham mudado a chave de acesso mas no geral foi muito positivo.

Sehr schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Fußweg zum Strand etwas länger als erwartet. Supermarkt zu Fuß schwer zu erreichen. Sonst alles top.

Wonderful holiday and great villa

An excellent home from home, well kept with everything needed. Spacious rooms, quality bed linen and furniture, and enough space for us to host 5 friends as well as our 7 for dinner one night Location good- a short drive to the town centre 4min, neatest supermarket (Lidl, intermarche) 3min, beach 2min or a better beach 4min The restaurants are great and so cheap! If you know where to go- we had local guides! Surfing is good -apparently! Skatepark great Very relaxed town- had a great time Great base for sightseeing too (Sintra, Mafra, Obidos, Lisbon) We will definitely be back

Excellent séjour. Quartier calme et reposant. Maison adaptée pour une famille nombreuse. Nous étions sept et nous ne nous sommes pas marchés dessus. Matt et Mel sont très bien organisés, ils nous ont conseillé et fait partagé "leurs bons plans". Nous les en remercions.

Ericeira, beau village balnéaire bénéficiant d'un climat océanique

Nous avons apprécié la grande maison en hauteur, retirée du village. Belle maison avec 3 grandes chambres idéales pour loger nos 2 familles. Le bémol de la semaine de vacances à Ericeira est venu de la piscine du pâté de maisons qui était verte et donc inutilisable. Heureusement que la mer borde Ericeira ! Nous avons aimé le marché frais d'Ericeira dans le centre, très pratique pour manger les fruits-légumes, poissons et pains locaux, les belles ruelles, la plage protégée et la proximité de Lisbonne et Sintra.

Beautiful well equipped house with lovely view.

This is a beautiful house in which to spend your holiday in Ericeira. The house is equipped with everything that you would need and more! There is a variety of sports equipment that the owners let you borrow to help you make the most of the beautiful beaches which are a very short drive away. The house was lovely and cool in the day and provided respite from the heat in August as the nearby swimming pool did also. The porch area is perfect for late afternoon BBQ's before you move up to the third floor terrace to watch the sun go down over the sea with a nice little tipple. As a previous review stated the images are just a little taster of this beautiful house and you need to see it for yourself! A great place to stay and will be returning.

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting relatives in Lisbon since 1995 and frequently rented in Ericeira but were often disappointed by the standard of rental property available. We bought a new town house 'off plan' in 2006 and it was completed in 2007. Ericeira has easy access to Lisbon especially since the new toll road is now complete and is only 30 min drive to Sintra.
The beaches are fantastic and the old town still has its traditional fishing village feel. The seafood is amazing (try Cesar's if you need a treat).

What makes this property unique

Great views of sea from the balcony; best enjoyed relaxing in the hammock with a cool drink?

Lizandro beach to the south is our favourite; the beach is clean and sandy and there are some great bars on the boardwalk. The waves are great for the kids to bodyboard and there is a surf school based at the Ondo bar.

Try a strong espresso with a pastel de nata (cream pastry) at one of the many cafes and bars around Ericeira, voted best in Portugal...!

If you get too hot at the beach travel to the hilltop town of Sintra or Mafra and cool down exploring the palaces.
