The apartment was everything we could imagine we wanted. Large, comfortable, all on a ground floor and well equipped. It was also very nicely furnished and decorated. We wanted for nothing and walked into York city center everyday in about 12 minutes. There is bus service nearby but we didnt need to use it. Also an Asda across the road that stayed open till 11 every night. Rita answered our every question patiently, quickly and positively. We are very happy to recommend this apartment to anyone.

A break in York

Very clean and classy property. Extremely convenient for the centre of York which is only a 10 min walk away. Many local amenities. Very reasonably priced. Would love to stay again!

El apartamento ha cumplido con creces nuestras expectativas. Una ubicación excelente, a diez minutos andando del centro histórico de York y de muy fácil acceso con automóvil por los cinturones de circunvalación. Plaza de parking incluida en el alquiler. Muy confortable y perfectamente equipado, no le falta detalle. Nos hemos sentido muy cómodos. La atención de la propietaria ha sido excelente. Como detalle teníamos un regalo de bienvenida. Totalmente recomendable.

A beautiful York experience

The renter's attention to detail could not be faulted. She went out of her way to make sure that our arrival went without a hitch. The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. Considering the weather, we were warm in the apartment. Off street parking was great. We appreciated the chocolates and wine on arrival and also the free wi fi availability. We would certainly stay there again.

What a wonderful place to stay!!!

This apartment is a truly wonderful place to stay. Practically everything that is required is there, and the bonus was the bottle of wine and the box of chocolates. Communication with the owners was excellent with plenty of information given regarding access. There was no problem when leaving & returning to the apartment, it was just like coming home to my own place or even a bit better. I can honestly say that there was nothing there that caused me any bother. In fact, after a day or two it was so easy to think that it was my own home. The walk into the city was only about ten to twelve minutes and I soon got to know the route and even a few shortcuts especially the one to York Cathedral. I had an absolutely wonderful time here and this will be the place for me to stay next time I visit York as it is such a lovely city.

5 STARS ALL AROUND!!

What a lovely apartment! I would live there if I could! This apartment is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. That might sound like a lot, but it really isn't! From the train station, if you walk straight to the minster, it's about 10 minutes. Stop, catch your breath and stare at the wonder of the York Minster! Then, walk another 10 minutes and you are there! We walked along the wall from Monk gate to Jewbury gate,,,go down the steps at Jewbury gate and you can see the apartment down the road. There is also a grocery store directly across the street! How perfect! Also, if you need to print your boarding passes there is a print / office shop about 5 minutes away. We were greeted with wine and chocolates and a lovely letter addressed to my family. (another sweet touch) Also, coffee, tea and milk. The apartment has absolutely everything you could need. the bed is very comfortable, shower is great, you get tons of soft fluffy towels, the living room is cozy and kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. we wanted for nothing..... There are also plenty of fliers and tourist information in the living room. The apartment is perfect for 2-3 people comfortably. the couch unfolds into a bed. extra blankets are also provided. YORK, ENGLAND...... my love!! No other place on the planet captures my heart like this precious city. I was a student at St Johns College years ago. I fell in love, head over heels in love, with York then and it still gives me butterflies to this day!! York is my second home. You will love it and you will love this apartment. Enjoy it!! thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Lovely one bedroomed apartment close to York

Really lovely apartment , very well equipped with everything and more provided for holiday. Very tastefully furnished , in bedroom and lounge plus kitchen and bathroom, clean and inviting, welcome gifts, appreciated. Dedicated parking included. Really good location, city centre about 10-15 minute walk, various ways to different parts of the city. Supermarkets very short walk away.. lots to do and lots to see. Would easily stay again.
