We really enjoyed the private house at the mountain with the great view. We stayed for nine days with five people and felt comfortable with everything. Its a bit tricky to get up to the spot at the mountain, but we got used to it quickly. Good position to explore the North West of Sicily with nice beaches, the city of Palermo, Trapani and Marsala or the natural resort of Lo Zingara.
Really nice conversation with the owners of the house.

Wonderful family holiday in beautiful Sicily
We have stayed in this house on two occasions, the first time in 2012 and the second time in 2015. The house is very clean and comfortable with wonderful views over to the mountains. It is very near to Castellamare del Golfo which has the most wonderful beach; we tended to go there most days so did not feel we needed a pool with the house. I would really recommend the house as a great base to explore the area.

What makes this property unique
Being on a hillside the is a magnificent view and in summer it is refreshingly cooler than down in the valley or in the towns. The is a wonderful sunset view looking to the west over Lo Zingaro and the lights in houses across the valley light up at night. You can sit out by day to enjoy the peace and the view or night to watch the stars and listen to the owls and other mountain wildlife
