Detached villa designed by owners and built in 2007 to the highest standards, comprising 4 en-suite bedrooms: one ground floor which enables wheelchair access from outside and poolside (with disabled-friendly bathroom), three upstairs, two with furnished balconies The villa has an open-plan living area on the ground floor, with fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge with TV and CD player. It is set in a private, walled, landscaped garden with a variety of interesting plants. There is a large swimming pool (with a shallow part for non swimmers) and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols and a dining area (shaded , if necessary with an awning) which affords full alfresco facilities. In the garden there is a beautiful furnished wooden traditional kosk for chilling out and protection from the sun. Alongside is a bar, barbecue and shower. There are 4 mountain bikes, a lady's bike, a child's bike and a child's trailer for guests to use. There is also a security alarm system, safe and internet.

A lovely villa with everything you could need. The location is a 5 min walk out of town but you also have close ammenities, bars, shops and cafes. We would definitley stay here again, the balcony and pool over looking the mountain at the back of the property is great !

Can’t speak highly enough about this villa. It was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you needed. A home away from home. The pool was perfect for our family of six. The villa is on a quiet street but you turn the corner and you are right on the Main Street going in to Dalyan a 5 mins to the boats. The owner was really helpful before and during stay. Absolutely no complaints.

Best stay we’ve had in Turkey!

My family and I just stayed for a week in this beautiful villa and can’t thank John enough for all his help in making this stay super easy for us. The Villa itself and its surroundings are stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. The location is perfect - the villa is tucked away on a quiet road but is only a 5min walk into the town. Perfect for those with a pram and young children. The Villa is gorgeous and very, very clean. Rooms are spacious with views of the surrounding mountains! Outdoor pool area is also very spacious, with plenty of sun beds and seating. We have no cons about our stay. This place is truly a gem. We’re already looking at coming back next year! Wonderful Dalyan

The villa is exactly as shown on the photos. The kitchen is fully equipped plus tea and coffee supplied. There were hairdryers in all the rooms. The location is excellent for shops, bars and restaurants. No need to rent a car as we arranged transfers with the owners and there are plenty of river taxis to get to different places. We had a few issues with the internet but these were quickly resolved. A few cars/buses go past the villa but otherwise it’s very peaceful. Dalyan is a fantastic place and everyone is very friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

This was our third visit to Dalyan,Staying at Villa Sahane made it our best experience yet. The owner, John, was exceptionally helpful—always quick to respond to any questions and ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The airport transfers were well-organised and confirmed in writing, providing us with a comfortable journey of about 30 minutes. We were greeted by the villa’s caretaker the day after arrival, who made it clear that we could contact him or visit his nearby office if we needed anything.The villa itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained, with a warm, homely atmosphere. It features four spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Every room was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating along with excellent free Wi-Fi.Outside, the pool and gardens are equally well cared for, with seven sun loungers and cushions for relaxing in the sun. The large terrace includes a dining area and a retractable awning, which is perfect for some welcome shade during the afternoon heat.The location couldn’t be better: it’s just a five-minute walk to the centre of Dalyan and only two minutes to the nearest supermarket. Wonderful Stay

Our fifth visit to beautiful Dalyan and we hit the jackpot finding Villa Sahane which is by far the best villa we have stayed in. The photos do not do it justice – the gardens are beautiful and the pool area is lovely. The kosk was a very welcome addition to relax in and also for a nice pre-dinner g&t!! Best situated villa we’ve stayed in as only a five minute leisurely stroll to the centre of town. The villa itself is so well equipped and all the rooms are spacious and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony each day. From the very first time we made contact with John, the villa owner, we felt re-assured as he was extremely prompt in replying to any queries and providing us with so much information. The villa management company were also brilliant and really looked after us and were very helpful. Thank you John and Helen for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa – we will definitely be back!!

villa Sahane. As beautiful as its name.

Our stay was very pleasant. First impressions of the villa were very favourable: it is well maintained both inside and out. Most striking was the cleanliness of the outside painting, giving it a bright appearance. The garden was very pleasant with lots of colour from the lilies, hibiscus, and bougainvilleas. The pool is a good size with an integral area for children. There is also a BBQ, bar, and kosk, and large umbrellas and awning for shade. Inside the villa is bright, light and airy. The downstairs bedroom is ideal for anyone who has any physical disabilities, and there is easy access to the patio and swimming pool. The remaining three bedrooms are also en suite, two of which have access to a balcony. Downstairs has a kitchen , dining area and seating area, and is well appointed and maintained. There is a utility room, safe, burglar alarm wi fi and television. There are bikes which enabled us to explore the surrounding area, and the villa is ideally situated in its closeness to restaurants, bars and the town centre. We had a wonderful holiday in a perfect villa!!

Perfect Villa

BEAUTIFUL VILLA IN PRIME LOCATION

We have now visited this beautiful villa on seven occasions, and it feels like ' home from home ', with everything that you could wish for a fabulous holiday, with additional luxuries, the weather and the lovely resort of Dalyan. The villa is situated in a perfect, quiet location but close to Dalyan centre. Early this season, it was decorated inside and outside, so the whole place is sparkling. Villa Sahane is wonderfully equipped with modern furnishings and a mixture of Turkish and English artefacts and paintings. The television/ DVD system is very up to date, there is a safe and security alarm and air conditioning throughout. Outside, there is a good sized pool with two large parasols and comfortable sun lounges. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and we were able to pick an abundance of lemons,oranges and pomegranates during our stay. We love the kosk, BBQ and bar area with outside fridge for relaxing barbecues. The kosk is also shaded with natural plants, for a relaxing afternoon nap !!. The fitter members of our party used the bikes to visit some interesting out of the way places around Dalyan. We enjoyed coffee at the riverside restaurants and trips on the river taxi to Turtle Beach. John's attention to details prior to our arrival has always been first class and the caretaker Mehmet was very helpful during our stay. Overall a brilliant holiday once again. Fantastic Villa, Great Location, Fully Equipped

This was our second time to stay at Villa Sahane. The first was 3 years previously and we thought the villa was great then. We were travelling with our two boys aged 7 and 5. For them the highlight was the swimming pool, which is much larger than other villas we have stayed in. For my wife and I we enjoyed the spaciousness of the villa and the facilities that were provided both inside and outside. So often when you stay in villas it is hard to find a simple thing like a sharp knife. The owners at villa Sahane have truly left a home for visitors to share. The kitchen, bedrooms, lounge areas are all fully equipped with everything you need and more. Outside the highlight for me was the BBQ, outdoor kitchen and Kosk area. Great in the day for escaping the sun and heat, perfect at night for grilled lamb (from the local butcher) and few drinks. The location is perfect. Getting to and from the centre is an easy walk. Getting to the beach by car is just 20 mins (or you can use the a water dolmus). The owners provide bikes to use, which we did, for short runs to the shops or to the other side of town to Saki (in my opinion the best restaurant in Dalyan). I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Sahane to anyone wanting to stay in Dalyan. The owner Jeff is so organised he just makes everything a breeze.

Firstly, it's worth saying that the booking experience and support leading up to the holiday from the owner John was brilliant. He answered many questions for me, sent me all information needed and was generally a great help. The villa itself is terrific. I've been to Turkey 9 times and Dalyan 6 in villas, and this was without doubt the best villa for both location and the cleanliness, size and facilities. The villa is a quick 5 minute walk from the centre yet is quiet and feels secluded due to the grounds it's set in. If your a fit freak like me, the BC Spa is just round the corner and allows gym access for a fee. There's also full spa facilities there that we used. The villa furnishings were brilliant and included a safe. The TV was brand new and the DVD player and Amazon Firestick were a nice touch. Overall a brilliant holiday, brilliant villa and would highly recommend.

A haven of peace and tranquility

We were a party of 8 of differing age ranges and all had a fabulous time.The villa is amazing, a real home from home .The bikes are an excellent addition as they gave us the opportunity to explore the lovely Dalyan. The description of the villa underestimates how great it actually is. Upon arrival the villa was clean and well maintained. One afternoon we made use of the brick BBQ and enjoyed a lovely meal on the terrace. I would without a doubt recommend this villa to my friends and family and will definitely be returning

Fantastic luxury accommodation

Myself and my 2 children have been staying at this villa since 2008. We have stayed here on 8 occasions and my children have grown up out here and have made many friends. So I think that says it all really. It has been our 2 weeks of paradise every year. The accommodation is of a very high specification and spotlessly clean. It is in a perfect quiet location, only a few minutes walk from the town. The villa has a wonderful pool and beautiful gardens. Would definitely recommend this villa to anyone searching some guaranteed sunshine and great restaurant food. Turkish hospitality cannot be faulted.

Fantastic Villa - Prime location

Wow what a fantastic gem! After a very smooth flight from Manchester to Dalaman, we arrived after a very seamless transfer in a brief 20 mins from the airport. The villa was very welcoming and was well lit showing the idyllic swimming pool and lush gardens.The villa is decorated to a high standard with each bedroom having the luxury of an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms are very unique with glorious turkish rugs and artwork throughout. The kitchen and dining area are superbly equipped, catering for many eventualities (we had a birthday party and we even had candles and napkis on hand)! The boys were able to make use of the bikes which were a very useful addition to the holiday as we were able to access the local supermarkets with ease. The position of the villa we found superb; restaurants and bars are actually within walking distance, yet the villa is discreetly tucked away to be quiet. The town of Dalyan has so much to offer and we were able to visit the beach via the municipal boat and then we took the Dolmus (local bus). We did find a gem of a trip and headed off to Yuvarlackay (an icy mountain river) which we all thoroughly enjoyed and was a relief from the hot sunshine. Our family of four found the villa to have everything we wished for an more besides. We plan to return next year.

Great villa, excellent location.

This was the first time in Dalyan and we were not disappointed. There was seven of us at the villa and it was excellent, well maintained and cleaned to a high standard, also it was great having your own bathroom. The pool was very welcoming on hot sunny days. Helen and John are a retired professional couple. We have a son and daughter and three grandchildren who all love Villa Sahane and Dalyan. Proudly, we are both from South Yorkshire, but have lived in North East England for the past 43 years. Helen was a nurse, school nurse, district nurse/midwife, audiometrician and health visitor for over 50 years. She became a Justice of the Peace in 2007. Since 2011 she has become involved in charity work in Uganda, Africa, visiting and working with Interplast UK and Kumi Community Hospital twice a year. Her main interests are singing in two regional choirs and the local village church choir. She is also involved in fund raising for several charities .

John was teaching for 40 years, mainly in special education, finally as a headteacher for 21 years in two residential schools for children aged 5 to 18 years with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties and autism. After retiring he worked part time until 2011 at two NE universities as a tutor in educational leadership and management. The villa hopefully reflects John's passion for gardening. Other hobbies include beekeeping and watercolour painting.

Why they chose this property

Prior to building this property, we had stayed at close friends' villa further out of town. We fell in love with Dalyan, the culture, flora and fauna, food, weather, the hospitality of the people and totally relaxed environment. We wanted to build a special villa for our family which met all our needs, and we think that we succeeded at all levels. The villa is spacious, cool when it is hot, warm in spring and autumn, private and in easy walking distance of the centre of Dalyan. There are about twelve restaurants between Villa Sahane and the harbour, 400 metres away.

We bought the land for this property in 2006 because of the views of the mountain and the opportunity to design a secluded, private villa which was close to all the restaurants, shops and other amenities in town. With advice from two friends, we were able to build Villa Sahane (trans. "beautiful") which matched all of our specifications.

What makes this property unique

Villa Sahane is a uniquely designed, traditional Turkish syle dwelling with full modern facilities.There are four well furnished and spacious bedrooms with ensuite facilities, all air conditioned. One of the bedrooms is downstairs, disable friendly and accessible everywhere at ground level. The kitchen is very well equipped and integrated with a spacious dining area and lounge with internet and satellite television. Outside is a large 43 sq metre pool, set in beautiful gardens which have a 2.5 metre mixed hedge around the perimeter for extra privacy. Shade is available through two very large parasols plus a very large awning. There is also a bar and barbecue area which is an extra place for entertaining or relaxing: or snoozing in the cool of the traditional kosk! As dusk approaches, the upstairs balcony is the place to sit and watch the sun set over the mountain which drops down to the river. We have several Turkish family friends who often share our hospitality, and love our villa.
