The rear garden provides outside private space for dining/BBQ, a private pool and manicured garden. The villa is just 5 mins drive from the beach of the picturesque fishing village of Burgau. Also close to stunning beaches of the South Coast and the Atlantic Coast. The vibrant marina/town of Lagos is 15 mins away and the historical towns of Sagres, Silves and Monchique are all a short drive away. More than 20 golf courses are within one hours drive.

We enjoy travelling and have holidayed in many places, but Portugal, where we now own our villa, has been a favourite place of ours for many years. Buying our holiday villa/home has been a dream of ours for a long time. We have taken the time and trouble to kit our villa out with everything we would want for a very comfortable holiday, like a home from home and we pride ourselves on providing this for other people who use our villa/home as well.
Why they chose this property
We love this part of Portugal and have visited the Western Algarve over the years many times. Although we have seen a great change during this time, the Western Algarve remains relatively unspoilt and because of the conservation areas, this will remain. It provides a 'slowed down pace' for a relaxing and 'chilled' holiday. There are wonderful beaches that cater for all age groups. There is a variety of sport - water sport, golf courses, walking, birdwatching, horse riding etc. The local villages are picturesque. Lagos is the local vibrant town, with a marina, that offers a great family atmosphere, again for all ages and has a wonderful selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The beaches also have great beach bars for casual eating. This is all only a 1 hour drive from the airport.
What makes this property unique
This property is part of the AlmaVerde Village which is near Lagos, Sagres, Burgau and all the local beaches. We have made our villa just that little extra special. We have provided a well stocked villa with all those extra comforts of home. The artwork we have on the walls really adds to the homely feel and the level of comfort in this villa is far more superior than others on the development. With our own pool and secluded garden this is a great holiday rental. AlmaVerde Village, although still to be fully developed/completed, is already a well known holiday destination. AlmaVerde prides itself on being 'green' with lots of vegetation and well manicured gardens to please the eye. The villas are also built with energy saving materials and structures. Book now!
