Fantastic spot

We were delighted with our Stay in Endas apartment. It is ideally located in the most perfect town. The apartment is a short walk from Piazza and Argegno is an idyllic little town. Argegno offers bars, restaurants, shops and the best ice cream store. The apartment was great 7 well equipped. The pool is private sun trap and we took full advantage!

Location, Location, Location

4 minute walk through romantic cobble stone staircases, and bridge to the Piazza. Argegno is halfway between Como and Lenno. Three to Four hours driving to Monte Blanc, Monaco and Venice. Forty Five Minutes to Lugano, Switzerland. Miss it from the moment we left the included garage.

A comfortable apartment in a lovely town with views of a beautiful scene.

The apartment had everything we needed and a very accommodating and friendly owner. We had questions and he responded immediately by phone and email including contacting the local person to come and explain all we asked. The property was well situated and a short though steep walk to the village where there were a variety of good restaurants and the all important ferry landing. We didn't really need a car. Of course the setting was breathtaking. All and all a very nice stay.

A little hard to find but worth the effort

Enda was an amazing host and even scrunched into our tiny overloaded car to get us the final 1/4 mile from town to his condo. We had 2 different GPS’s sending us in circles. Do watch the Utube video (and save to your phone for reference) once inside, the condo was perfect. There was a great outdoor lawn, which unfortunately we could not use due to rain. We did however appreciate the view of Lake Como. The condo was clean and everything functioned well. The unit was setup for cooking but unless you plan ahead and shop before Argegno, there are few real stores around except for the big farmers market on Mondays. There are however no shortage of restaurants

Je tiens à vous signaler plusieurs points négatifs concernant la location de l'appartement, VIA SALITA BRENTA ARGEGNO LAKE COMO – au nom de Mater, Plusieurs échanges ont été faits avec la propriétaire dont un au début de notre séjour, où nous avons reçu 200€ de compensation financière, pour piscine sale et tout l'emplacement autour non nettoyé et chaise longue cassée, A notre retour, nous avons signalé d'autres point négatifs et les réponses de la propriétaire ne correspondent pas à notre demande, voici ci-dessous les points cités : - un appartement que vous louez pour 6 personnes avec une table bancale et seulement 4 chaises, - vaisselles très insuffisantes pour 4, - dans les chambres peu de mobilier pour poser ses vêtements, - les draps ne sont pas adaptés au lit, les draps housses sont trop grands et le drap du dessus trop petit. De plus, 2 semaines dans les mêmes draps, très peu d'hygiène, - pas d'éclairage au-dessus de la plaque de cuisson et très insuffisant pour la salle, - le parasol n'est absolument pas adapté pour la table extérieure (qui elle est bien prévue pour 6), il est difficile d'avoir de l'ombre avec un si petit parasol, - la chaudière est défectueuse, pas très agréable lorsque nous sommes sous la douche et que nous avons de l'eau froide, nous avons été obligés de la remettre en fonction tous les jours. LE PLUS IMPORTANT DANS CETTE LOCATION SONT LES MATELAS, SALES ET ABJECTS, Voici la réponse de la propriétaire : L'appartement est annoncé pour 6 person

This guest (Françoise) highlighted some issues during her stay and these were quickly resolved and she thanked me via email! Post stay, she contacted me requesting compensation and suggesting that if I did not provide compensation she would submit a very negative review of the apartment. I would also note the cleaner contacted me separately about this guest and provided feedback on the amount of rubbish especially bottles left in the apartment after their stay. I have also sent her messages to me to the booking website for review this matter. As a matter of principle i have not compensated this guest and in my humble opinion this is not a bonafide or balanced review and i would suggest anyone reading this review to also read reviews from other guests for more genuine feedback on the apartment and the area.

Schönes Appartement in toller Lage

Sehr schönes, gut ausgestattetes, sauberes Appartement mit traumhaft schönem Blick und mit Terasse. Mit Schwimmbad. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der auf Rückfragen schnell reagiert hat. Das Appartement können wir weiterempfehlen, z. B. für eine Familie mit 2-3 Kindern.

Es war leider nicht sehr sauber. Die Dunstabzugshaube klebte vor Dreck und die Beleuchtung ging nicht. Da es aber nur eine Deckenleuchte gab, war es sehr dunkle beim kochen. Die Bettdecken rochen "sauer". Da es keine Vorhänge etc. gab, musste man im Bad/WC immer die Fensterläden zu lassen. Direkt neben der Terrasse und dem kleinen Garten führte der Fussweg zum Ort runter. Jeder schaute einem auf den Teller bzw. in die Wohnung. Mit etwas mehr Liebe und Sauberkeit wäre dies eine wunderschöne Ferienunterkunft an einem netten kleinen Ort.

Schöne Wohnung in Argegno

Schöne Wohnung mit Seesicht, trotzdem ist man in 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß in der Stadt. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Praktisch war auch die private Garage. Für die Kinder ist gleich in der Nähe ein Spielplatz mit Boltzplatz. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es könnte etwas sauberer sein. Abgesehen davon haben wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

klein, aber empfehlenswert

Die Wohnung ist tatsächlich sehr klein. Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern da, und dafür war alles ausreichend, für 6 Erwachsene wäre die Wohnung aber definitiv zu klein. Dafür ist die Lage hervorragend. Nur wenige Gehminuten in die Innenstadt und zum See. Der Pool und der direkt angrenzende Sport- und Spielplatz waren bei unseren Kindern sehr beliebt. Die Wohnung selbst hat alles, was man braucht von einem abgeschlossenen Pkw-Stellplatz mit Direktzugang zum Wohngebäude bis zu Spül- und Waschmaschine. Vor Ort ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern (inkl. Video für die Anfahrt) sehr gut und immer sehr freundlich.

Dejlig ferie lejlighed ved Como søen

Dejlig stor lejlighed med 2 soveværelser bad og stue køkken .Tilhørende lille have med udsigt til Como søen og garage i kælderen. Fin pool. Tæt på en lille by, med spisesteder. Lidt langt til stor indkøb. Leje af speedbåd, var en fin oplevelse på en varm dag.

Der Standort Argegno war insgesamt gut, ab es gibt noch bessere Standort am Comer See.

Gut. Der Hausherr war sehr aufmerksam auf das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste bedacht, hat sich mehrmals erkundigt. Sehr gute Informationen liegen im Haus bereit. Das Inventar ist angemessen. Wir bedanken uns für gute Urlaubsbedingungen.

Katastrophe

Zunders möchte ich betonen das die Lage sehr gut ist. Tiefgarage mit Stellplatz ist gut. Die Unterkunft selbst ist eine Katastrophe. Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen vor Ort, da es so schon eng wird, ist es absolut nicht zu empfehlen mit 6 Personen vor Ort in diese Wohnung zu gehen. Die Unterkunft war sehr dreckig. Dusche überall Schmutz, dreckiges Geschirr, der Föhn klebt so das ihn keine benutzen möchte...alles dreckig! Da das Wasser nicht abgelaufen ist, nahmen wir den Stöpsel raus. Mir kam fast das Erbrechen. Beim Bett abziehen sah man Riesen Dreckflecken überall auf der Matratze. Nie wieder und nicht zu empfehlen.

Keurige woning op korte afstand van het meer. Behoorlijke klim vanuit dorp omhoog

Mooi huisje, kleinere woonkamer als zichtbaar op de foto, wel geluid van nabijgelegen haarspeld bocht, er zijn maar 4 stoelen binnen en buiten voor 5 personen. Bij ons helaas zwembad dicht vanwege covid-19 terwijl in het dorp en op andere plekken de zwembaden wel open zijn. Erg stijl omhoog lopen naar appartement. Mooi uitzicht, prettig huisje

Siamo state un weekend, la posizione della casa ottima con vista bellissima , ma la casa non era pulita , ci era stato detto che era stata pulita e sanificata , ma dubito la cucina era molto sporca , e le lenzuola non erano gran che , l'unica pecca della casa la pulizia , e la piscina chiusa .

Great place for a holiday

The apartment was as described in the ad - nice, clean and with a good location. We found it easy, thanks to very useful YouTube-videos from the owner. The apartment is not huge, but for our family of four it was big enough! Good value for money :=)

Nice apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay at Enda’s Apartment. The location in the town of Argegno is great for exploring Como. The Ferry is close by, the car ferry to Varena and Bellagio are 7 and 5 km, respectively. The gelatoria in Argegno and restaurants are excellent but you have to be fit to walk to them. Parking is convenient but getting in and out of the Salita Brenta is a little tricky.

Why they chose this property

I went to Argegno for the first time for the wedding of a close friend and I could not get over the beauty of the location. Lake Como is a special part of the world, there's nothing better than waking up in the morning, looking out of the window, and seeing that beautful and tranquil lake. It's a calming place for people of all ages....and there is plenty to do whether you're 2 years old or 80 years old.

What makes this property unique

We know what we are getting when we visit Argegno as it has all the things we looked for when we searched to buy a property. We normally fly into Milan and it takes approx 1.15 hrs to drive to the property from the airport. The biggest benefit of the property is its location; just 2 mins walk to the village and lake ferry. It has secure underground parking and a private swimming pool. The apartment also has a lovely private garden which is ideal for enjoying the view, barbecuing and chilling.
