Whether for business or pleasure, this peaceful retreat is located in the historic & prestigeous Hillsboro West End neighborhood steps away from Vanderbilt University and close to all the action in the Downtown Nashville Entertainment District.
Our cozy backyard among old growth trees and stone work offers the perfect backdrop for watching the changing of the leaves in the Fall, lounging in the shade of the gazebo in summer or enjoying a libation under the cafe lights in the evening.
Soak in the hot tub, cozy up to the outdoor stone fireplace or enjoy the warmth around the gazebo firetable. On the rare occasion of snow you may opt to snuggle around the indoor gas fireplace or gather in our updated kitchen. In the living room we have a sleeper sofa sectional with a big screen Smart 4k TV and highspeed Google fibre WIFI (download speed 100 plus mbs+).. The large dining area is great for gatherings, meals or games. On the lower level we have an LG washer/dryer in the laundry room. Our location is surrounded by restaurants walking trails and stores accessible on foot or "ride-share" services. We have tons of food delivery options. Just text us for details! Whether your visit is for business or pleasure, We would love to host you at our home and we know you will love Nashville!

Wonderful stay for Vandy graduation

Rick and Candy went above and beyond to make our family feel special. We arrived in the house to flowers, cake and balloons and handwritten cards to celebrate our son’s graduation from Vandy and Mothers Day. Very well equipped. I especially appreciated having coffee in tho house. It accommodated our family and everything was a short Uber ride away. We spent a lot of time on the patio and in the jacuzzi. Very relaxing! Don’t hesitate to rent.

Charming Oasis

Charming, Cozy, Convenient are the three words that describe this property. With four bathrooms it easily accommodated my family. Well stocked, close to downtown and restaurants away from downtown in a safe neighborhood. Hosts were great and communicated well.

This is a beautiful well maintained house. The owners have thought of every thing. It is about a 10-15 minute Uber ride to Broadway. Highly recommend.

Birthday Celebration with our kids

We came to Nashville with our adult children and their spouses. The property was the best equipped property we have stayed at. We loved the back yard. What a great way to wind down the day after taking in the Nashville fun. We would definitely stay here again. Four comfortable bed rooms.

Great Place

What a great place! Rick was a timely responder and answered any questions within a couple of hours. We have everything we needed at their place, well equipped place for cooking in and convenient to downtown for a short uber ride. Would stay here again.

Nashville Retreat

We booked this location because our daughter was due to have her baby. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a chalkboard sign welcoming our family and the new baby. A beautiful potted plant for the mommy was waiting inside. I say this to show how hospitable the owners are. Everything inside was clean. The kitchen was well appointed. More than enough room for everyone! We will for sure book again. Thank you Rick and Cindy

Charming! Everything you need and more!

Stay here! This house is adorable, well stocked, and the hosts are amazing! We stayed for 3 nights and wish it were more! We used the patio and fire table, hot tub, cozy couch and adorable kitchen. We rented a car but also ubered a time or two…short trips to all locations! Plenty of room for three couples-even four if someone doesn’t mind a small bedroom. Love this place!

Family getaway

My family took a weekend to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. We had 4 generations together at this beautiful home. Everything was as described and more. Kitchen was well stocked as well as bathrooms. Rick and Candy were so helpful from start to finish. Do not hesitate to stay at this house. Close to many things. Best house I have ever rented

This property is fantastic. Rick and Candy go above and beyond with this rental home. House was very comfortable and roomy. Spotless condition with more amenities than you would ever expect. Backyard patio was the perfect place to relax and entertain. Made use of the stone fireplace, gas fire pit and hot tub. Beautiful gardens and landscaping with total privacy. Will definitely be first on our list when we return to Nashville.

This house had everything we were looking for!

We wanted a place that was big enough for 8 of us to cook, eat, drink, watch a football game, and hang out. We have extended family in the area and wanted to be able to entertain them as well. This house certainly accommodated all of that! We had great weather and spent most of our time in the outdoor area, which was so cozy! The kitchen was very well stocked with spices, oils, coffees, teas, and much more. There were plenty of towels for all of the bathrooms, as well as lots of personal care items! The hosts were so gracious and available to make sure our stay was perfect!

Brothers reunion

My husband and I, along with his three brothers and their wives, had a lovely family reunion in Nashville. The premises were immaculate and so well stocked that several of us realized that there were supplies that we should also have at home. The host left an abundance of information and was so responsive that he spent quite a lot of time trying to help with problems entirely outside his area of responsibility. Our single caveat is that the bedrooms can only be accessed by stairs, which may be a problem for some people. Otherwise, you can’t do better .

These owners were BORN to host!!!

We cannot say enough about our experience! - owners wrote us a handwritten card welcoming us and had Nothing Bundt cakes in the fridge - owners checked in everyday letting us know the weather - we have never seen a home so fully stocked with amenities! They had everything. Ladies, you are well taken care of with hair supplies. There are tons of games and we could have cooked our own thanksgiving dinner with all the supplies they had in the kitchen. - my dad got to Nashville before anyone and because the rental was ready, the owners saw him on the ring cam and welcomed him in. He was so thankful and gladly grabbed the in law quarters downstairs. - the beds were so cozy with a selection of pillows and soft sheets! - the backyard was simply beautiful. We took advantage of every area. We stay at a LOT of vacation homes and we have NEVER seen a place this stocked with amenities! Checking out was a breeze too. They literally take care of everything. I sure hope we get to stay here again. Getting to downtown as well as the airport was so simple. We have a family member who is a cop in the area and he said that the neighborhood is one of the safest! Thank you thank you thank you for making our family feel so welcome and for bringing the Nashville Charm to your home!

Great stay! We had a Bachelorette Nash Bash for our best friend. There were 6 of us women (ages 33-42) and we had a lovely stay. House was great, patio was perfect, and the hot tub was a plus! Overall, we enjoyed the area. Upon check-in we were surprised with Nothing Bundt Cakes, loved that! Check-out instructions were awesome and easy! Would definitely stay again!

Best Hosts Ever

We stay in VRBO's quite a bit & this was the absolute best host's ever!!! They had a welcome sign, a welcome card, & sweet treats waiting for us when we arrived. They even had a graduation card for our daughter. Communication was excellent. The home was super clean & they had it stocked with supplies. We felt like the hosts were invested in us having a great stay. It was such a fantastic experience!!!

Charming House with Outdoor Space

Our family traveled to Nashville for our daughter’s wedding last weekend and the house was a good size. It’s charming from the curb and has a beautiful backyard area with nice seating, fireplace and hot tub that we really enjoyed. The check in process was simple, the location was great and there was good communication with the host. The house itself needs to be updated, especially the carpets and the staircase wall coverings which are filthy.The house was well stocked which made our stay easier and there was plenty of parking.

Thankful!

This property was a wonderful home to celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday with family. We actually felt as though we were welcomed into an extended family member’s beautiful home. The owners were so welcoming, friendly and cared about every aspect of our stay. They were quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. Incredible Experience

The property was amazing. Lots of room for our large group of 7. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding & stayed a week. The property location was perfect. Very close to the highway so it seemed that everything was a quick 10-15 minute drive. Rick & Candy, our hosts were phenomenal regarding communication. Extremely thorough & quick with responses. I have never stayed at a Vrbo that was so well stocked with everyday necessities in the kitchen & bathrooms. I did not even need to go to the store. This was just a truly lovely property to stay with our family & only made our “wedding week” better.

Family Vacation

From the booking process to the check-in and check-out, the owner communication was flawless. Upon check-in, I was in awe. I was left special gifts for myself and family as well as a welcoming sign at the front door and handwritten note on the kitchen counter. This was such a special and much appreciated touch. This home was so cozy, comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of space to relax whether we were just reading, enjoying the hot tub or relaxing around the fire. A short distance to Broadway and shopping. I have never booked a home prior to this one that put so much effort into ensuring our trip was a great experience. It is the small details that make the experience memorable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. I had such a great experience in booking and staying in this home that I left the owners a token of our appreciation. Why they chose this property

After our marriage in 1986, my wife and I moved to Nashville from Atlanta. Falling in love with this quiet and historic location near Vanderbilt University we selected this unique home. We occupied this house for many years while we lovingly restored and modernized it.

What makes this property unique

This is a great house for vacation and working trips alike.

Nashville is a Bicycle friendly community with bike lanes and greenways throughout the city. The are several greenway trail heads and bike rentals within a mile of the house.

In a quiet neighborhood the house is centrally location in the best part of town which allows quick access to the entire Nashville Metro area. A convenient 7 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the central business and entertainment district as well as one stop light to the Nashville freeway system illustrates how well located this home is.

Scenic walking and biking opportunities include a short walk to the top of Love Circle for overlooks of the Vandy Campus and Downtown Nashville. During the Civil War, this was an observation post for both sides. Also, a few blocks away, the 470 acre Centennial Park provides miles of walking paths, gardens and water features. The park is anchored by the Parthenon that is a full size replica of the Greek structure and includes a museum.

For medical professionals, Vanderbilt Medical Center, St. Thomas Hospital and Centenniel Hospital are only blocks away.

The charm of the outdoor fireplace, hot tub and fire table Gazebo provide a quiet retreat after a long day out on the town. The patio is also equipped with a propane fired BBQ.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils imaginable including Kuerig and Mr. Coffee makers and stocked with selections of coffees, teas, sweeteners and an assortment of spices & condiments for your convenience. Bedrooms and bathrooms are stocked with linens, paper conveniences, a starter supply of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Baths also are equipped with hair dryers.
