Spacious, modern ground floor apartment, with underground parking. Very large (150 sq.metre), 3 bedroom (sleeps 7), 3 bathroom apartment close to the centre of Altenmarkt, near the ski bus stops and close to shops and restaurants. The apartment comprises an entrance hall with hanging for outdoor clothing and boot storage and a guest toilet. Pass through into a very large living and dining room with TV, stereo and iPod/Pad dock with a separate and very fully equipped kitchen off. There is a deck area accessed from the patio windows. The master bedroom has an Austrian twin bed, complete with an ensuite bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. Bedroom 2 also has an Austrian twin and an adjacent separate shower room and toilet, a door gives access to a private patio. Bedroom 3 has a single and a bunk bed and an ensuite shower room and toilet. Outside there is a garden laid to grass with a table and barbeque. Please note that our normal changeover day during the main ski season (early January to end of March) is on a Sunday. Other days are possible during Christmas and New Year and the rest of the year. We like to avoid travelling the busy A10 motorway on a Saturday since most properties have this as changeover day. This traffic concentration is currently being exacerbated by tunnel maintenance which is scheduled to last into 2025.

Just pefect!
This is a wonderful apartment, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were met by Julie and Ian who are so very friendly and helpful, they have all the local knowledge you'd ever need! I wish I could have packed up the kitchen and brought it home! Perfect for us and our two dogs, a very short walk to the centre of Altenmarkt and a perfect location for seeing this part of Austria. Couldn't fault it, we will be back next summer for longer.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in der FeWo von Familie Johnstone. Silvia hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und auch wieder verabschiedet. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir waren 2 Familien mit insgesamt 3 Kindern - die Aufteilung der Zimmer war perfekt dafür. Die Wohnung war liebevoll dekoriert und detailreich ausgestattet. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!Wir können die FeWo sehr empfehlen!Silvia steht auch für alle Fragen zur Verfügung.
Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch Silvia verbrachten wir eine wunderschöne Woche in Altenmarkt in einer sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit praktisch allem, was man im Haushalt benötigt und genug Platz für sieben Erwachsene.
Tolles und sehr gut ausgestattetes, komfortables Appartment. Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen eine tolle Woche dort verbracht. Sehr gute Lage, nur 4 Minuten zum Skibus und ins Zentrum. Das Appartment ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das gesamte Haus war sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es war sehr geräumig und es fehlte an nichts. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war sehr schön.

Het is een zeer ruime en nette appartement. Alles wat je nodig hebt was er. Een prachtige, ruime tuin voor de hond, geheel omheind. Drie ruime slaapkamers en bij elke kamer een badkamer. Keuken was helemaal top, alles aanwezig.
Wij waren met 4 volwassenen en een kleine hond. Kortom topvakantie, wij raden dit huis ten zeerste aan, waren hier nu voor de 2e keer en een 3e keer volgt.
In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts. Wir haben den Urlaub in Altenmarkt sehr genossen. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und die Abwicklung über die Agentur von Silvia war perfekt. Vielen Dank!
Die Wohnung ist super großzügig, toll ausgestattet und super sauber. Die Betreuung im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes war genial. Wir haben uns noch nie so wohl in einer Ferienwohnung gefühlt.

Why they chose this property
We had been visiting the Altenmarkt area for many years, mainly to ski and we finally decided to get a place of our own in an area which is easily accessible and in a real village which doesn't close down out of season. We bought direct from the builder, designed the layout ourselves and resisted the urge to cram lots of bedrooms into its 150sq metres. We like lots of space and cant bear to que for bathrooms in the morning or when we come back from the slopes so unlike most holiday accommodation in Austria it has a bathroom for every bedroom and a very large living room with a separate dining area. It was designed to be a very comfortable family home, not just holiday accommodation.
What makes this property unique
We love the convenience of being able to walk to the shops and restaurants in the village and in summer we love to sit in the garden enjoying the view of the surrounding countryside. It is also very convenient for skiing with skibus stops close by for Altenmarkt, Zauchensee and Flachau. We normally have a car so the Flachau or Eben systems are only a ten minute drive away with most of the Amade system easily reachable for a day trip, our particular favourites being Zauchensee and the Hock Konig.
