Bright spacious 1st floor corner apartment, close to but no directly over looking the pool, re-painted and new bedding recently purchased. Quality build with Lift nearby. Sleeps 4 although there is a pull out bed (suitable for children and teenagers) so 5 persons maximum. Two bedrooms (one en-suite) plus second bathroom, within a secure gated complex (Jumilla 3) in Flamenca beach area, in 15 minutes south of Torrevieja. There is a large swimming pool and various areas for sunbathing. Five minutes walk from many bars, shops and restaurants. Plus a selection of beautiful beaches within easy reach. The nearest being the Cala Captain beach which is just a 10 minute drive away. There are also several shopping centres within walking distance plus many more bars and nightclubs etc. The weather is glorious from April to November and mild the other months. There are several first class golf courses within 10-30 minutes drive (including Villamartin, La Finca, Campamor and Algorfa) plus Torrevieja is only a 15 minutes drive away where there is an excellent shopping centre (Habeneras), many more bars, shops and restaurants, the harbour and beach plus of course the water park. Access on arrival days is normally from 5 pm and the apartment vacated by 11 am on departure days. Please note that there is an end of stay cleaning and laundry charge of 60 euros payable locally in Spain on arrival. For guests arriving at the apartment after 10 pm an additional 10 Euros meet and greet charge is also payable on arrival. Early arrivals prior to the normal 5 pm arrival time can be possible by agreement however arrivals earlier than 9 am (if available) are also subject to an addition 10 Euros meet and greet charge. No arrivals will be allowed after 1 am unless there are exceptional circumstances (or this has been agreed in advance). For arrivals after midnight the meet and greet fee increases to 20 Euros. Please note that no smoking is permitted within the apartment and no ashtrays are provided.

Great location close to bars and restaurants, apartment well sized and well equipped. Pool on hand as well and quiet in June. Overall had a great break
the apartment was overall good. There could be some upgrade in term of kitchen equipment. owner and key/cleaning people is nice and friendly, so big plus for that :-)

Really spacious apartment. The beds are really comfortable, air conditioning works great. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need. The only thing I could fault was the broken plant pot on the balcony and broken sun loungers. Would stay again.
Had a lovely 5 night stay at apartment, everything required was available. Short walk to my favourite bars. Handy 24hr store has opened since last time out here! Would defo recommend to friends and family. Would book again.
Excellent quality 👌 and very comfortable, enjoyed our stay but you do need a car to get around.
The supermarkets are about 1 mile away but the walk is ok quite flat,good shopping centre at la zenda, a taxi to la zenda was 5 euros, but again you can walk it in half an hour, also the bus stop.buses are cheap and some good restaurants 15 minutes away.

Many thanks for your review and I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay. Actually there is a much nearer supermarket around the corner in La Florida which is a 5 or so minute walk away (approximately a quarter of a mile/ 400m)
We loved our stay and Marie was very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. David was also great with organising everything and keeping us updated. It was our first self catering experience so it was all new to us but we would definitely return again. Thank you 😊

The checking in/out process went smoothly. There are a few items missing in the kitchen which have been communicated to the owner.
The AC/heating unit in the living room was not working but a temporary heater was provided.

The aircon/ heater unit in the lounge is being replaced as is the missing kitchen items. I will be doing a full inventory and replacing items in June during my stay.

Liked the pool area, too cold to swim in Feb, but weather good. Secure parking. Apartment nice and large and everthing in good working.order and key holder very nice and accommodating.
Only dislike was balcony east facing, so no winter sun. But would be good when it gets hotter. All in all 10

A lovely big bright apartment on a lovely complex
The appartment was very big with all the facilities of home the owners have made a real effort with masses of info on the surrounding area the complex and pool were realy nice and it's just a 2 min walk to bars shops and resturants
The only let down is we stayed for 12 nights and were only provided with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person for the entire stay and no change of bedding I found myself haveing to wash them several times not realy what I wanted to do on my holiday
We were charged more than the stated price for the cleaning of the appartment this site will not allow me to say how much on reflection I think this is quite high considering that there was not clean towels or bedding provided also there's a notice telling you that you must leave the apartment clean take all rubbish to bins ect

Many thanks for your review, your comments have been noted and our advert updated and made clearer.
Our property is available as a base for self catering holidays and as such has no maid service. In line with other similar properties (and owners) we provide the same one set of bed linen per bed along with one hand towel and one bath towel per guest. Beach towels are not provided. We provide a washing machine but our advert does (and did) state that mid stay bedding changes can be provided at extra cost from our key holders (who live on site) should they be required.
With regards the cost of the end of stay cleaning / laundry charge I have checked with my key holders and the correct fee was charged. Although the 10 Euro meet and greet fee was not specified in the original advert I do email all my guests a key holder contact information sheet before their holiday which does specify (in red) the cleaning and the 10 Euro meet and greet fee for people who make their own way to the apartment.
Finally as you will appreciate on change over days, when one set of guest are leaving and others arriving (on the same day), that there is a limited time (usually only 4 -5 hours) that our key holders have to wash all towels and bedding, re-make all beds with fresh linen and to thoroughly clean the apartment, empty rubbish, clean fridges, microwaves and ovens before the next guests arrive. The note on the wall merely requests guests assistance to ensure that not too many dishes and other items are left for washing, ovens or microwaves are not left too dirty nor lots of rubbish left in the apartment so that the next guests do not have to wait too long for access to their holiday apartment.
Accommodation is not in a building around the pool as shown on the advert, it’s actually in a block facing a busy dual carriageway and a school playground. You cannot see the pool from the apartment. The apartment itself could be fabulous but needed a deep clean, new sofa. New pillows, duvets for the single beds instead of well used blankets. We had to put the sun-lounger mattresses on the sofa and chair and cover them with a blanket as the sofa was very old and dirty. We have been told that the sofa will be replaced soon. Unfortunately some of the crockery was dirty, rusty and some of the frying pans were not fit for use. Both shower hoses were faulty where they connected to the shower head (the hoses just need replacing) as does the dirty single bedding. Two of the four dining chairs are rickety so we didn’t use them. The cushions on the sofa and the foot stool was dirty. The lounge windows and window frames were dirty and also the table mats. Unfortunately paid the 60 Euros to the key holder/cleaner on arrival before we looked closely at the apartment or we would not have paid her as it clearly was dirty. I have lots of pictures as evidence but do t think these will upload. Next door are permanent residents and they have dog that yaps at all hours if the day. Stayed 18th Dec 2023 to th Jan 2024, so not a very nice Christmas &. New Year in this apartment. The plus side is that there was always hot water and the complex is very clean & safe.

Neither the photos or the advert are misleading. There are many photos on the advert but for some reason you decided that the apartment overlooked the pool. None of the photos nor the advert imply that and neither did I. All the photos of the pool area show houses not apartments and the advert states it’s a 1st floor corner apartment so you thinking that the apartment is overlooking the pool makes absolutely no sense. You were a nightmare guest, constantly complaining and from the moment you arrived you made clear that you were very upset that the apartment did not overlook the pool and then made loads of other ridiculous complaints to justify your dissatisfaction & cover for your error. My key holder also reported that on arrival you ran your finger across some wooden furniture to see if it was dusty. It wasn’t as it had just been cleaned prior to your arrival !!!! How unbelievably bad mannered and rude of you !!!! After your stay I flew out to the apartment and there is no dirty bedding rusty cutlery (all replaced less than a year ago) , nor does the apartment need a deep or any other clean (apart from my key holder having had to remove a large amount of rubbish that you yourself left). The showers are clean and work fine although I have re cleaned the showers anyway and done a small amount of maintenance (including replacing a fully functional but slightly leaking shower hose which didn’t meet with your satisfaction. But apart from some guest related scuffs on the walls there are no other issues. I never the less repainted some areas which were scuffed, which literally took me less than an hour for such a large apartment. I have however bought more bedding and towels (like I regularly do) although none really needed replacing. I have replaced a few bulbs even though most were working and also replaced the fan & light in the master bedroom. I have replaced both the bed settee and arm chair which weren’t up to your standards (although this was both planned and ordered before your visit). I would however like to see these imaginary photos you claim to have since you never provided them. It is however a holiday apartment and even when items are replaced (as required) there will always be some wear and tear evident. The fridge , oven , coffee maker , water boiler and all 3 aircon units for example are all 18 months old. The air fryer is new. Plus bedding and towels are replaced every 2 years or sooner if it’s required and repairs and maintenance done at regular intervals (or again when required or as soon as I am made aware of any issues). I have checked the many previous reviews and all seem very happy with the apartment and how clean it was plus I have many returning guests come back year after year (some several times a year). I have never over the last 15 years had such an unpleasant guest like you. I suggest in future you consider a 5 star hotel. In fact after your stay you ignored the key holders request at check out to give her back the keys and left the keys in the apartment. You left without locking the door grill at all and not fully locking the front door. Further more I was advised by my key holder after you left that you had rearranged all MY crockery in the cupboards and rearranged all MY furniture in the apartment. Why would you do that ? They are neither your property nor your apartment !!! My key holder also reported that the whole property smelt strongly of bleach after you left. Finally during my stay at the apartment I only heard the neighbours dog (briefly) once and that was on my last day at the apartment and it was literally when someone knocked on my door and only lasted no more than 20 seconds !!!
