Comfortable Villa with large Pool, huge Garden (golf) and short trip to beaches*

Thanks David, I'm glad you and your large family of five small children enjoyed your stay at Villa Salgueiros, you really needed a large garden and many ammenities to keep them active and occupied, and I think the house was perfect for you!.

Hi Estibalitz, I feel happy knowing yourself and family, which included small children, enjoyed the villa, and the little ones mainly the pool, the trampolin and all the amenities which are perfect to keep then busy. Also I noticed you used and enjoyed the fruit in the trees (lemons, pears, apples, etc) and the tomatoes, pepers, green beans, etc. in the orchard. I bet they taste better that the ones from the supermarket! My best regards, Gil

In regard to the villa I absolutly agree with your opinion, I prefer comfort and homely spaces rather than luxury, and that is what I offer. Hi Marja, It was great to have all of you at the villa, although I must say I was a bit worried in regard to accesibility, but all went well thanks to the fact that there is only a little step to go into the house, and that there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower downstairs, so you managed well. I think you were very brave to do the Camino in so bad weather, and you succeded. Hurra! I look forward to seeing you again in Galicia. Best regards, Gil

Hi Andrew, It was great to have you and your family spending holidays in my villa. I'm glad you enjoyed the location, large garden and pool, as well as the different games available. In regard to travelling to beaches, there is now (just opened) a new road which surrounds the town of Noia, and brings you to the fabulous beaches at the other side (Boa, Hornanda -As Gaviotas-, Portosin, A Guieira, etc.) in just over 30 min. drive, avoiding the crossing of Noia with the heavy traffic in peak hours in summer. Dear Tony, It was a pleasure to have you and your family spending holidays at Villa Salgueiros. I'm glad that you enjoyed the pool, large garden with fruit trees, orchard and BBQ, and I wonder about the trampolin I installed this summer. For next summer I'm considering to install a solid stone BBQ with traditional wood oven, as everybody really enjoyed BBQing and having meals outside. As you say, Villa Salgueiros is a great base to explore Galicia, as most places of interest are at less than 1h drive or little more, including North of Portugal. In regard to nearest town of Milladoiro, where you can find a few restaurants/bars, supermarkets and little shops, a large sports complex and the public municipal pool, I agree it has little to offer in terms of sight-seeing, but luckily Santiago is just 10 min away and this certainly has a lot to offer to the visitor, who can spend many days to see it all. And what can I say about dogs in the area barking at night?. I think is one of the things about living in the rural, and so much unpredictable as the weather itself !

Dear Sunshine, Thank you for the high rating given and your positive review and comments. As you know kitchen was fully renewed last summer and washing machine should be next. In regard to sun umbrellas I'll make sure for guests to know that there are some in the garage!. Anyway I'm happy you enjoyed the villa, garden and pool, and its location near Santiago with easy connections to motorways which makes an ideal base to visit any part of Galicia and even Portugal.
