The villa was renovated in 2024/25 to a very high standard and now offers the perfect 'escape from it all', the best way to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Whether you're relaxing by the pool (with fully equipped pool kitchen and BBQ), dining al fresco or enjoying the beaches and buzz of St Tropez, this is the place to be. The grounds are a paradise for adults and children alike with a tennis court, hot tub, table tennis, boules court (petanque) and plenty of space to roam and explore. Beyond the house guests can enjoy the wild flower meadow and pond.

The quaint medieval village of La Garde Freinet is a short stroll along a car free country lane where you can pick up your morning croissants, explore the local shops or enjoy the twice weekly provencal market. Beautiful villa

We spent a wonderful 12 days at t hi s villa with grown up children and friends. The pool was lovely with plenty of space and areas to relax both in and out of the sun. Everyone enjoyed the tennis and table tennis and evening games. It was lovely eating out under the wisteria and there was everything we needed in the kitchen to whizz up some lovely meals. We explored the coastline and wandered around the luxury yachts at St Tropez! All in all, a fantastic holiday in a beautiful place. Thank you

Hervorragendes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Das Anwesen besticht durch Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit Die Sportmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig, Pool, Tischtennis, eigener Tennisplatz mit Flutlichtanlage. Der Check in mit Mike war perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Absolute Empfehlung. Gerne wieder.

A beautiful house in a lovely location.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your house – we loved everything about it. The house is beautifully situated – a short walk into La Garde Freinet (croissant stroll every morning) and yet not too close so as to be overbearing. Only 10kms from the beach, and not far from St Tropez for a bit of glitz! The pool and tennis court were much appreciated and were frequently used, and the house itself was ideal ……. well-equipped and a feeling of France that you do not get in some villas closer to the coast. This stay was our fifth in the area – and your house ranks as the best of the lot by the family (2 of us, 2 adult children + 2 partners). Mike (and Roger the lab) looked after us very well in showing us how everything worked, as well as giving us local tips. Many thanks - great holiday.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Our family and 2 grandchildren spent a week in this delightful villa in June. It is in a very countrified, attractive setting which suited us greatly. In June it is about half an hour to the beaches of St Tropez and after the hustle and bustle it is lovely to come back to the peace and quiet of La Garde Freinet. La Garde is a charming, typically French village. Not too touristy and everyone very friendly. The villa is fully equipped and the tennis court is fantastic. There is a treehouse and a trampoline and swings for the children so the holiday was ideal for them. The décor of the villa is stylish and there is nothing tacky about the place. The kitchen is very well equipped and has two large fridges. We found the check in and check out very easy and there was no hassle with anything. The lady that owns the villa is very easy to deal with as is Mike from the village who is the local contact. We found the price fair and reasonable to some other villas we have stayed in. This villa does what it says on the box and the only surprises are pleasant ones. There is an excellent guide/instruction book which guided us to some wonderful restaurants

We are two families from Ireland who jointly own this beautiful piece of French countryside. We bought the house in early 2008 when our children were babies, and have happily shared it ever since. We undertook extensive renovations over the last two years, adding many new features.

Why they chose this property

Le Pre des Teilles is just a stunning place. When we are away from it we miss it. Quite simply it offers a secluded haven of beautiful gardens, beautiful views and a comfortable home away from home. Add this to all that the south of France has to offer in terms of climate, food, wine, sights, beaches and atmosphere and you pretty much tick all the boxes for a perfect holiday.
