Very spacious one bedroom apartment, fully registered licence no vffma 313273 with wifi, overlooking pool and garden for the sole use of the apartment block.
The pool has a shallow end, with steps for easy access to the water and there is plenty of space for sunbathing around pool and in the garden. There are folding chairs on the balcony for use around the pool. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with stairs or a lift. The apartment has easy access for wheelchair users.
It has a well equipped kitchen,with cooker, hob, kettle, toaster, airfryer microwave , fridge freezer, washing machine, plates, bowls, cutlery and many more items.
The lounge has internet TV,WITH A NUMBER OF ENGLISH STATIONS plus Netflix DVD, radio, a sideboard with towels and bed linen, a dinning table with four chairs, sofa, an armchair, a double sofa bed with patio doors leading out to a spacious balcony with another set of table and chairs
The bedroom has a super king size bed with bedside tables, a large set of drawers with a mirror over it and a large wardrobe with an iron, ironing board and a safe inside.
The bathroom has just being refitted with a modern walk in shower
We continue to upgrade our apartment each year with new pillows, linen and towels, so you can be sure of a lovely stay.
The apartment is a two minute walk to the blue ribbon award beach, with beach bars and restaurants, specialising in fish dishes freshly caught from sea and a five minute walk to the centre of La Cala, where you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakers, banks and an internet cafe. This includes some of the best restaurants on the coast. Olivia's is the lastest 5 star addition to Lacala and has good food drink and entertainment. One min from apt we also have a fantastic local called simple great place to eat and unwind There is a market on Wednesday and Saturday.
La Cala is 25 mins drive from Malaga airport and there are many golf courses within 3km. La Cala is on the main bus route between Fuengirola and Marbella.

Great Apartment!

We stayed for 11 nights in June and couldn't fault the apartment. We arrived late but were met by Paul and shown round the apartment. It's in a perfect location - only a short walk to the beach and centre of La Cala. The apartment itself has everything you need and the balcony is huge! We will definitely be booking again.

Great getaway location at quieter end of La Cala. Clean spacious accommodation overlooking pool area and gardens, situated within easy walking distance to town and or beach, 10 minutes. We stayed at this apartment in April/May 2015.We have rented many times over the years but have never experienced such a well maintained, clean and everything as expected rental. The apartment was so well equipped nothing was missing. What was also a bonus was that it was very secure i.e. entrance doors, door to the pool etc. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to family, friends and we hope to return next year.

Fantastic apartment in great location

We loved everything about this property. It was a good size for the two of us and a real home from home. Very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is a leisurely stroll into the centre of La Cala and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's also close to the beach and all amenities. The main highway is close by but there was no sound from the traffic and the pool and gardens were lovely and peaceful. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying here again in the not too distant future. Thanks to Patrick and his management team for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Wonderful apartment! Perfect location.

Everything about our stay was really great. Communication with our host was really easy. The apartment is very spacious, the beds (main and sofa) were really comfortable. We hired a car, which we didn't need as everything was in very easy walking distance, even for the kids. If you do hire a car and you're stuck for a space, there is parking just over the footbridge near the Lidl. All parking seems to be free. The pool was a really great size and perfect depth for children of all swimming abilities. Thank you for keeping the box of beach and pool stuff. We borrowed a couple of lilos and a parasol for the beach. We'd love to stay again. The apartment really had everything we needed and more. Thank you.

Great location, well maintained and very spacious

This was our first time to La Cala de Mijas and my husband and kids (6 & 11) first time in Spain! On arrival we were greeted by Paul who showed us around the apartment. The apartment was well equipt with everything you could possibly need. There are 2 reclining deck chairs on the balcony which we took down to the pool and a large table with 4 chairs. There were also buckets and spades which please my daughter no end. We left 3 noodles for the pool to be used by anyone in future. The sun is on the balcony from early morning until approx. lunchtime. We had a slight issue accessing the Wifi but a quick message to Chrissie & Patrick sorted that. This is a very Spanish resort with very few typical British tourist pubs, which makes this place a great wee find and certainly well worth a visit. There are many great places to eat within 2 mins walk from the apartment, Utopia & The Albahaca are both well worth a visit and we frequented both on many occasions. From contacting Patrick with my initial enquiry to book through to actually arriving the communication was great and always answered any query I had promptly. I would recommend this great find to anyone who wishes a slice of the true Spain as you will not be disappointed. Will definitely book again if I can every find it free as this place is always fully booked well in advance as it is such a great place to stay.

petit et sale

A notre arrivée l'appartement était très sale, sol,wc;frigo + congélateur,poubelle,vaisselles etc...,photos a appuis et n'avais pas été nettoyé avant notre arrivée et donc forcément pas d'état des lieux. Nous avons fais constaté a l'agence qui ne nous a pas proposé de le faire nettoyer et a évoqué un hypothétique délais de réservation sans fondement. de plus l'appartement est très loin des 90 m2 annoncé il fait environ 53 m2 .. a notre départ nous avons eu un retrait sans autorisation de 120 euros pour des soit disant dégâts présent a notre arrivée. Nous sommes donc en litige et attendons la solution aux problème engendré par la mauvaise gestion de la location. la clef de l'appartement est a posé au magasin d'article pour chiens; car personne a l'agence. on peut pas mettre moins de 2 étoiles, sinon c'est 1 sauf pour l'emplacement qui mérite un 4.

Great location in La Cala De Mijas

We had a lovely holiday. The apartment was spacious , clean and very central in La Cala. Only a short 3-4 min walk to the beach. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. The pool was big and well maintained. Very few other people used it. A great place to stay

We have owned the apartment in La Cala since 2004 and enjoy relaxing breaks ourselves in La Cala through out the year. We love the fact that when we get to La Cala we don't need a car as everything is in walking distance. La Cala is a beautiful tranquil Spanish village with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Over the last few years we have many clients returning for a second or even third stay, they likes our apt and location so much. We continue to maintain the apt to a high standard and have recently fitted 2 new air con units, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge area.

Why they chose this property

La Cala De Mijas is a beautiful well kept, old style Spanish village with everything you could want on a holiday within easy walking distance, so no need for a car.
The apartment is well maintained and regularly updated to ensure all equipment is in good working order. It is regularly described by guests as home from home, with all your home comforts, such as UK TV a cleanSUPERKING comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.

What makes this property unique

We can walk to the beech in under two mins very handy if you want to pop back during the day to collect some cool refreshments from the fridge or even have some lunch.
If you arrive late we have a 24 hour petrol station nearby that sells all the basic items you may need.
Forgot your i phone charger? no problem apt comes with docking station.
If you like walking why not try our new board walk on the beech over 7 miles long right on the sea and you will pass many quaint little bars and restaurants on your way it's fantastic, we have walked it many times.
