Beautiful view at 15 min from Aguimes, gives you total tranquility and rest, ideal for, walk, rest, hiking, reading etc. With its own parking, disconnect from the bustle and urban traffic, large wooded area to have, fraboyan, olive trees, pines etc., small pets are allowed.

Special Experience

We felt lucky to get to experience staying in these beautiful mountains in a local style unique home, immersed into the vegetation and life style. It was also the BEST location to watch sunrise! Thank you for opening up your home to allow guests to experience this.

One week in Temisas

We had a lovely stay in the House on the mountain. It was a beautifull place. Nice and quiet, and everything was fine. We loved the cats who came every day. A lovely place, and if we ever came back to Gran Canaria, we would rent the house again☀️💕😄😄

Eclectic rural cottage

A hidden rural cottage in Temesis, with varied styles and decoration. All facilities work well stove, wifi, hot water etc. Just need to be aware town has no shops, nearest are 20 min drive down the mountain. Just need to be prepared. If you want comfortable rural accomodation is great. Juan is very helpful host and provides a few essentials in the kitchen in case.

Charming place for the special guests

We are very satisfied with our friendly and helpful host, Juan. His old house is beautiful and very authentic. Not his fault that it was freezing cold most of the week. He delivered an extra heater for the living room the next day. However it would have felt better if the little sun we had would have reached the terrace. The charming old house is situated on the shady side of the village and there are many pinetrees on the property along with cats and fish waiting to be fed. (I'm more fond of cats than my husband) The village is nice and quiet . Unfortunately is has no bakery for buying daily fresh bread. It's lively at weekends, and has a couple of good options for eating, drinking and hanging out with the locals. There are several tracks for hiking to interesting places, like the caves nearby, and if you have a car it's not far to visit the cost for a swim. There is a bus as well. The village of Temisas cultivates olives and oliveoil and the farmer and the chef at the gastrobar, was very proud of his oil and happy to finally have a cold winter which is good for the olive production!

Sehr angenehm und mit komischen Elementen. Der Garten, Ausblick, Terrasse und die Katzen waren einmalig schön. Matratzen waren gut. Ich würde das Haus eher jüngeren Menschen empfehlen, unter 50.

Vacaciones en las montañas de Gran Canaria

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem schönen Haus von Juan. Es war alles vorhanden, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles nötige war vorhanden. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft und der Garten mit den vielen Blumen ist sehr schön. Wer keine Katzen mag, hat Pech. Zusammengefasst: man kann hier einen entspannten Urlaub abseits der Touristenhochburgen verbringen. Juan ist ein super Gastgeber. Vielen Dank nochmals an Ihn und alles Gute. Es wird uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Wij hadden een prima tijd in de woning van Juan, in het pittoreske Temisas. De woning was super, net als de plek en het uitzicht. Leuke bijkomstigheid was het aanwezige speelgoed. Juan en zijn zoon zijn hele vriendelijke mensen. Het was ons een genoegen.

Urlaub auf Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria ist eine sehenswerte Insel. Wir hatten selbst über den Jahreswechsel wunderbares Wetter. Man kann auf Wanderungen viel schönes entdecken, Land und Leute kennenlernen und die Strände laden zum Baden ein. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen und ist ohne Mietwagen nur schwer zu erreichen. Danke Juan für die Ausflugstipps und die unkomplizierten Absprachen.

Sehr nettes authentisches Haus

Das Haus mit seiner wunderbaren Terasse liegt am Ende des Dorfes Temisas. Es ist sehr ruhig (okay das übliche Hundegebell morgens und abends - aber das weiß man schließlich wenn man in einem span. Dorf lebt), einen genialen Panoramablick und definitiv kein steriles Hotelleben. Wie haben die Woche sehr genossen. Ach ja, wer keine Katzen mag, sollte lieber etwas anderes buchen. Wir fanden es herrlich.

Ein entspannter Ort fernab vom Trubel

Ein schönes Haus mit toller Terrasse und Garten. Hier kann man mit Blick auf das Meer Sonnenaufgänge und den Sternenhimmel genießen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Berge oder ans Meer. Ein Auto ist erforderlich- dafür ist man weit weg vom Tourismus-Trubel.

Perfecto para desconectar

Casa muy cómoda, hemos pasado un fin de semana tranquilo y relajado. Las vistas desde la casa espectaculares. Cercano al pueblo pero a la vez aislado. El dueño fue muy atento, nos dejó estar antes de la hora y salir después. Muchas gracias por todo

Todo estuvo bien. La verdad es que nos decepcionó un poco, aunque tenemos que decir que fue todo muy correcto. Juan lo pone todo muy fácil y tanto el Check in como el Check out fue flexible. Además, la casa está bastante cuidada. Problemas: - hay muchísimos gatos que se pasan el día en la terraza, se acercan a la casa y merodean constantemente (hablamos de 10-15 gatos) - la barbacoa está vieja. Tiene 2, la de obra es pequeña y no le da la luz. La portátil necesita renovación. - tanto la terraza como la casa está llena de "trastos". Está al límite entre gracioso y almacén... Yo creo que debería de quitar todo eso. - la casa se encuentra al final del pueblo por lo que el acceso no es rápido. Además, desde el coche hasta la vivienda hay que caminar por un lugar no demasiado acondicionado. Positivo: - vistas increíbles. - amabilidad y facilidades - comodidad de camas - casa repleta de juguetes y libros para niñ@s En general, no repetiría estancia en esta casa.

Beautiful time, wonderful property!

My 3 young children and I had a fantastic time at Juan’s property. He was extremely gracious and everything was as promised. The kids played on the swings for hours and we stargazed at night. The cats that came around were friendly, and the house was really comfortable temperature-wise, even when it was not so outside. Would definitely recommend :)
