Family fun

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved every minute we were there. Huntington harbor is a great location and the house works out great for our family. We hope to come back again soon!!

The house has potential. However, the description doesn't mention things that are broken or disclose that the house next door is under construction (very loud). The surround system didn't work, Kuerig didn't brew full cup, the dishwasher was missing parts on one tray, the life jackets were unusable, one of the paddles for the kayaks and the deck box were broken, trash compactor and ice maker didn't work, one of the sliding glass doors wouldn't lock (brought a stick), wood floors left our feet black-no mop to clean it with (he suggested we buy our own but did end up ordering one for us), no toilet brushes (after calling Vrbo, he sent one but with no holder), dirty vents, stained, flat pillows, mold in shower, etc. Arrived to find that the upstairs shower/tub wouldn't drain and were told to go buy Draino-there were ants in the kitchen, on the countertops, on the wood floor, in an upstairs bedroom, and in 3 of the 4 bathrooms. We messaged the host and were told that "with this heat the ants will come inside". It was suggested to "use the Raid and keep food off the counters"-this wasn't okay as we had a baby in the house and food to put away. On Day 3, he brought ant traps and sprayed outside. This didn't help-after asking repeatedly, he sent a pest control company on Day 4. Ants were EVERY day in the downstairs bathroom-not just a few but hundreds at times-pest control company came back 3 times-we couldn't use it. Beautiful backyard with view, fun decor and paddleboards.

MEMORIES … postcard perfect!

We had a fantastic week! There was nothing missing. We got lucky with great weather but rain or shine this place has it all. From the kitchen to the outdoor kitchen to the playroom. Hope we can make it an annual family tradition.

What a great house1

We rented this house because we were coming down for the air show. Greg the owner was great and answered any questions I had right away. The kitchen I fully stocked and the back yard had a great pool and BBQ. Unfortunately we did have time to use the paddle boards or kayaks. I guess I will have to save that for next time. !

Family reunion/birthday

Beautiful home, extremely well stocked kitchen, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, comfy patio furniture. We spent most of our time out there. Enjoyed fun on the water with the kayaks and paddle boards. The swimming pool was great.

Bliss in Huntington Harbor

Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more. The house was beautiful and clean and well organized. The outside space was very special: comfortable furniture, beautiful pool and fire pit and table and bar area for dining. We were delighted by how quiet and private the property was. Loved cruising the harbor. We brought paddle boards, kayaks are provided. Greg, thank you for sharing this very special property.

Family Fun

This home accommodated our family very well. We were 6 adults and 2 babies. The backyard was wonderful, we enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, as well as the fire pit and bbq. Very peaceful sitting outside by the water. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances, although short on forks. We would definitely stay here again for a family getaway.

Lovely home with amazing views. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our family reunion. The beds are very comfortable,l plenty of towels, nicely appointed with every detail!

Wonderful place!

I really can’t say enough! This place is perfect for a family or group. The outside space is just amazing. Bedrooms are roomy and kitchen is fully equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Already planning to return next summer.

Local Beach Retreat

My family and I just returned from a short vacation at Greg's beautiful waterfront home. We live one hour away from the area and have stayed many times at Beach homes over the years, mainly in Newport Beach and Balboa Island. My adult kids commented that this home and location was at the top of their list. This home is immaculate and very well appointed. The location on harbor is ideal, but the best part is the outside patio/playground. We swam in the pool, went kayaking and paddle boarding and played cornhole (brought this ourselves), but mainly just lounged around in sun, ate bbq meals and ended the day by the firepit. Would definitely return again if the opportunity presents itself.

Amazing property

Great sunsets, location and family fun. Walking distance from a small local beach and a quick drive to the State Beach. We made a great choice with this property. The owner takes pride and making sure his guests have a great trip as well. See you next summer!

Outstanding vacation home !
