About this property

Fab big house near Devon’s surf beaches. Village centre and well equipped.

This property is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you need to make your holiday run smoothly, whatever the weather. The facilities in the brand new large kitchen include an induction cooker, 2 x steam ovens, washing machine, dishwasher, American style fridge-freezer, farmhouse-style kitchen table and a comfortable sofa. The kitchen has a huge breakfast bar and can seat 6 whilst someone is cooking. There is a comfortable sitting room, with open fire and ample seating including a sofa bed to accommodate extra guests if needed.Facilities provided for guests include wireless broadband, an extensive library of books, a wide range of DVDs, hi-fis / Sonos downstairs and a good stock of board games. Upstairs the large master bedroom has en-suite facilities. A large children's room has an extra sofa bed, loads of children's books and toys. 2 further double bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the same floor. Please note - during high season (July /August) we can only accept bookings on a Saturday to Saturday basis .

Great weekend stay

We rented Garden Cottage to attend a wedding in Braunton. It was perfect for our group of 10 adults and offered great accommodation. Kevin, the host, was very helpful and communicative…we even lucked out with glorious sunshine for the entire weekend. Highly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at garden cottage. It was perfectly positioned for the town and a short drive to fabulous beaches. The house is a dream. Beautifully furnished, everything you could wish for for children. A pretty,sunny garden. Would definitely re visit.

Amazing!

The house is stunning inside and out and there is everything you need. Location is perfect. Braunton is full of lots of bars and restaurants. And it’s only a short drive down to Woolacombe. Communication was quick. Overall, lovely house and we really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Garden Cottage. We were two families with 5 kids from 3 up to 10yrs. The house was spacious, clean and homely. It had alot to offer for the kids, a games room with psp, plenty of board games, a dress up box and a projector screen for movie nights. The kitchen has all the essentials you need. The garden was spacious with a big trampoline for all the kids to run around and enjoy while having a bbq outside. The house was in a great location walking distance from shops and restaurants. It's also very close to the tarka Trail and a short drive to the beaches. We would definitely love to stay again.

Perfect Weekend

We stayed here with friends for 3 nights and it was perfect. The check in process was easy and Kevin was on hand if we needed anything, as well as giving us taxi numbers and advice on the area. The Christmas tree made us smile as well! Would thoroughly recommend this stay with either friends or family & even though we didn’t have children, it’s perfectly catered for them. We didn’t want for anything! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!!

Delightful house in a wonderful town

The house has everything a family could want. Spacious rooms and a wonderful open kitchen and dining area. Plus the yard and bbq and trampoline were a hit with our kids. Easy walk to town with access to anything you need.

Lovely house in a lovely part of devon

We took the whole family to garden cottage and was amazed by the amount of space and fantastic garden. With plenty of room to park off road and a pub next door. The house has a piano, games room With PlayStation 4 and dads for adults and children. Lots to do out and about with nice beaches close and the town of braunton 5 min walk away. Hope to book again next year

The beauty of this house is that despite being in the centre of the village, a lot of people don't know it's there. You can walk everywhere and unusually, it's far bigger than most propeties in the area with a large garden.
