Belle maison bien équipée, mais le ménage laisse franchement à désirer. La piscine est très agréable, le jardin avec tous ses petits coins et recoins est très agréable aussi. Quelques transats ou fauteuils plus confortables seraient appréciés. Malgré ces petits bémols, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable.

Wij verbleven in "De Rotonde" in Somme-Leuze. Pas na betaling bleek dat het huis werd doorverhuurd via een ander bedrijf, waar we de sleutel moesten ophalen. Bij aankomst zagen we direct een werkende camera aan de gevel, gericht op de tuin én het zwembad, wat een onprettig gevoel gaf. Het huis was ernstig vervuild en slecht onderhouden: losse stopcontacten, urinevlekken op matrassen, overal stof en vuil, defecte ramen, een bloeddruppel op de vloer, en een oven zonder bedieningsknoppen. Het zwembad was aanvankelijk prima, maar de filter- en verwarmingsinstallatie begaf het na één dag. De eigenaar weigerde hulp te sturen en het verhuurbedrijf verschool zich achter “overmacht”. We hebben in totaal twee volle dagen verloren aan bellen, mailen en het verzamelen van (foto)bewijs. Pas na veel moeite kregen we via Belvilla compensatie. Dit huis hoort in deze staat niet verhuurd te worden, zeker niet voor dit bedrag.

Het huis was schoon. En met 3 kinderen was het zwembad geweldig. Vooral met de hoge temperaturen. Binnen was het warm bij aankomst maar doordat we de ramen konden open maken was het in de avond heerlijk koel. Als tip om muggen tegen te gaan is een vapona aanschaffen zodat je geen last van muggen hebt als de ramen open staan

Mooie grote tuin en op zich was alles in orde behalve een probleem met de bovenste douche die overstroomde. Maar na een telefoontje wordt er meteen een technieker opgetrommeld om alles terug in orde te maken dus goede service!

Alles in de keuken voelde stoffig en vettig bij aankomst. De rest van het huis was ook niet fris. Elektriciteit in het huis is zeer onprofessioneel, zelfs onveilig. De zekeringen zijn meerdere malen afgesprongen tijdens ons verblijf, zonder duidelijke oorzaak. Wel zeer mooie locatie, prachtig uitzicht, ook vanuit de leefruimte.

Het huis is op zich een ideale verblijfplaats, maar het onderhoud is erbarmelijk! We zien een extra kost van 100€, maar overal was het vuil. In die mate dat we zelf dan maar de stofzuiger genomen hebben om overal onder de bedden te poetsen en stofweb weg te nemen. Als je dan start met koken en de dampkap aanzet, dan zie je het vet van de dampkap naar beneden druppen. Lang geleden dat deze nog gepoetst werd. Die extra kost is dus pure winst. De woning zelf en zeker de tuin zou ook wel een opknapbeurt verdienen. De speeltoestellen zijn in verroeste staat. Overal liggen er afgebroken elementen in de tuin. Kortom een melkkoe die je best links laat liggen.
