Absolutely stunning location. Beautiful loch, lots of nice walks nearby. The pub on the site serves great food, fresh fish.
Little shop with essentials very handy…. They also make a good iced latte.
The property was in a lovely quiet area, nice walks for the dogs and us. It was clean and cosy. Only issue was the fridge...very small considering the nearest large supermarket market we found was quite a drive away. There is a little shop a short walk away but it wouldn’t be able to keep you going with dinners for a week.
Only other issue was WiFi, I didn’t have the option to add it on when booking the property and to get access for the week it was £30 because of that. Felt a little expensive.
Other than that, would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway with family/friends/dogs.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for review. For the record our listing does detail that there is wi-fi at an extra charge.
Great relaxing week. Lots of great scenery and forest walks in this quiet remote area. Oban and Lochgilphead all accessible by a short scenic car journey though.
The place and log it self its in the middle of peace and quiet location.Gret time for me and my family. Was sweet and short, 3 night with hot tub .I will say this place dreserve 5 star.Bed really comfortable a lot space for 4 addults and 2 kids. Fridge freezer a bit small,if you go there for a week will not be enough space, bit the closest place you can get what you need its 15 miles a way.We will definitely go back there different time of the year .

Home Away From Home
We Have stayed here a number of times now and will be back again soon. The Cabin a great mix of modern and homely with a great log burner to throw on a relax in front of. We Have been there in both sun and rain and had excellent trips every time. In the sun there are countless walks to enjoy & in the rain we very much enjoyed watching the rain come down with the log burner blazing with a good book. The Cabin is approximately 20 mins off the main Oban road up the side of loch awe, making it close enough to enjoy but remote enough to switch off entirely. There is a small shop for the basics and an excellent social club for food and drinks but would recommend going with what you want for the weekend to enjoy the experience (wouldn't want to run out of beer after all) We have equally had great day trips to both oban & mull while there as oban is only approx 30 mins away of you would like to go a day trip. However we mostly ebjoy it to relax, it has some of the best and most visible stars I've ever seen. Highly recommend this place and plan to be back often.

A pleasant and overall welcoming stay with beautiful scenery
The property was big and warm as seen in the pictures online. The cabin was mostly clean and cosy, with everything required for a comfortable stay. Would have appreciated provided towels and more equipment/facilities to have fully enjoyed and made use of the barbecue.
Would recommend the cabin and area to friends as it's easy to get to, private and lovely for a quiet escape.
We thoroughly enjoyed the board games which were a bonus :)

Not worth the drive
Extremely remote location with a windy 30 minute drive back to cabin site, but after arrival, it is anything but remote. Cabins are on top of each other and we had a lovely view of the car park. Inside the cabin was as expected, but the description and location is not particular to the cabin you receive and was quite misleading.

I'm not sure as to whom I'm responding, as the review was made anonymously, however this is a very unjust, misleading and unfair review.
The cabins are not on top of each other at all and our listing is very clear about the location of cabins, even down to the inclusion of a site map. The fact that guest has not read our listing correctly has lead to their confusion and not being mislead by us.
The review states that the guests had a lovely view of the car park but we do not have a car park, which leads us to believe this may be a bogus review to discredit out accommodation.
We would ask future guests to disregard this review and read other reviews that provide far better feedback on our cabins.
ps. We have reviewed our bookings for the dates in question and have not had a guest from Dallas in Texas from where this review was posted. This therefore cements our belief that this is a bogus review and it has been reported to Owners Direct.
