About this property

Stunning Period Farmhouse in Rural Setting

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'.
Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer.
Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs.
Car essential.
The space
Within easy reach of all major attractions in North Wales including Snowdonia National Park, The Berwyn mountains and Bounce Below. Pretty market towns of Ruthin, Bala and Llangollen are within half an hour.
The stunning coast line of North Wales and Anglesey are within 1 1/2 hours. Alternatively, stay close to the house and enjoy the stunning views! Sit in the garden or summer house or just relax in front of a roaring fire. Watch the huge variety of birds swoop down to the numerous bird feeders in the courtyard. There is no light pollution which results in spectacular night skies.
Guest access
Sole access to the 2 bedroomed house along with the adjoining garden and summer house. Ample parking available.
Other things to note
Due to the age of the property, some floors are uneven. The stairs are also uneven and steep. This may cause difficulties for less-abled guests.
A 7kW EV charger is available for guests to use. Energy used will be charged at a fraction over our provider's rate at the time of use. (Currently 30p per kWH but this may change).
Highchair and stairgate available on request.
young children require supervision on and around the staircase.
NB The main bed is actually a super-king sized bed but Vrbo don't have that on their list!!
Out of respect for our neighbours, we ask for no noise after 10pm
