Dating from the early18th century and attached to the owners’ historic house (1705).Delamore Cottage has been restored and converted into a charming retreat: grounds of just under an acre, large secure private garden enclosed by an 18th century wall, use of superb heated swimming pool, furnished terrace with outdoor lighting and gas barbecue for alfresco dining and ample parking all make Delamore Cottage the perfect home stay, secluded, peaceful and welcoming.
The cottage is ideally located to discover all the attractions of the North Norfolk coast, National Trust properties and cathedral cities. (Please note that when the hour goes back on 25 October the use of the pool is restricted: 11 am to 5 pm for reasons of comfort and safety.)

The hosts, Sue and John were welcoming and kind. The cottage is really nice, had everything you need, clean and well kept. The area is central to the town and shops.Definitely a must if you are in that area needing somewhere to say.

We had an amazing time staying at Delamore Cottage and the hosts Sue and John were very friendly and helpful, making the stay really enjoyable. Our daughters enjoyed the swimming pool which was at a perfect temperature and free to use whenever we wanted to use it. Fully recommend it if looking to stay in the area.

We spent a lovely week here with our 3 kids (17, 15 and 12) and Sully the big puppy.The owners, John and Sue, are just superb. Really relaxed and friendly, full of information on the locality and where to take the dog for good long walks nearby. Kids loved the pool, we loved the space and the time to unwind in this beautiful part of the world that we’ve never visited before. The place was spotless and very well equipped. Excellent!5 stars - brilliant!! Highly recommended.

Great spot with fabulous hosts

Beautiful cottage with picturesque views of the garden. The pool was a huge hit with the family and we can't wait to return at some point soon. Hosts were fabulous and couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for having us.

Relaxing break

We had a really relaxing 9 day break with our 2 kids particularly enjoying the lovely swimming pool. There was plenty to interest us all nearby, for example day trips to Sandringham and Burghley. John and Sue were great hosts, made us feel most welcome and were really responsive.

Lovely cottage with its own pool and garden

We had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome without being intrusive. The kids loved the pool and the dog loved the enclosed garden. Beds were really comfy and there was plenty of space to hang out indoors on the rainy days. Totally worth 5 stars

Lovely, homely stay

The house and attached accommodation is so lovely. The host Sue couldn’t have been more friendly and was so generous. We had gorgeous weather so made good use of the pool every day. Beaches are about an hour’s drive away but mini supermarkets are all quite local. Overall a lovely stay.

Lovely May half term stay

Sue and John really were the most perfect hosts - Super friendly, communicative and full of great local advice! It was our daughter's birthday when we visited so they'd decorated the place with banners and balloons and left both our daughters some chocolates! It was the sweetest gesture!The pool was the highlight. We had exclusive use of the pool and garden swimming every day and the pool was always clean and well-heated. The double bedroom on the ground floor was also convenient to my elderly parents. All in all, a lovely week, thank you.

A very pleasant stay

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and really enjoyed our stay at Delamore Cottage. The house is great and well equipped, the landlords are very kind and helpful! The pool was warm even though the outside temperature wasn't. The kids loved it! There was a playground just around the corner as well. Perfect place as a base for daytrips throughout Norfolk or Lincolnshire. We can definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed here as a family of 3 with an 11 year old child. We loved the property, very clean and well equipped. The pool was fantastic well maintained and very clean. Lovely stay in Long Sutton

We had a lovely stay at this charming property over the Bank Holiday weekend. John and Sue made us feel very welcome and were so very helpful. They even lent us some bikes. The children absolutely loved the pool and used it every day we were there. The accommodation was spacious and the beds all comfortable and very clean. Thank you Sue and John it was a real pleasure meeting you both.

Delightful cottage with bonus pool.

Five adults (and small dog) spent a long weekend in this delightful, comfortable and well-equipped cottage. We enjoyed the lovely garden and used the pool every day. Sue and John are great hosts - warm and friendly - and a small plumbing problem was fixed amazingly quickly. The ceilings are high, but if you're over 6 foot tall watch out for the doorways!

Pool was a God send

The property is in a small town that is at least 45 - 60 mins to any attractions. Exclusive use of the indoor swimming pool was an absolute God send, the children used it at least twice a day and loved it. The owners, who live next door were very friendly and obliging.

Lovely from beginning to end

From the moment we arrived it was clear that this was going to be a lovely stay. We were welcomed by John and Sue who were the perfect hosts. Whatever we needed was on hand and, of course, private use of the pool was wonderful! On top of that the garden is absolutely beautiful and sitting out in the sunshine was a delight. Our kids had a great time, (helped by good wi-fi and a great selection of DVDs) and we enjoyed everything from beach visits and shopping to nature walks and glass blowing on our outings. Thank you so much for a fantastic break!

Relaxing dog and child friendly cottage

Amazing hosts, couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. Lovely cottage - large lounge with comfortable sofas, very comfy beds, one downstairs en suite bedroom great for putting kids to bed early or for older family members. Enclosed, large and very pretty garden - great for kids and dogs. BBQ and garden furniture provided. North Norfolk beaches 30-50 mins away but also lots to do locally - hosts provide a great list of suggestions when you book. Private heated pool was lovely - large enough for adults to do some proper swimming but also and has a shallow end so great for kids. All together a lovely place for a relaxed stay - you could happily spend several days without leaving the cottage!

Lovely little Long Sutton

We are a family of 4 consisting of two boys aged 13 and 10 and our Old English Sheepdog puppy, Martha. Boys had fab time in the swimming pool each day and Martha enjoyed the shared secure garden along with all the fuss John, Sue and family lavished on her. Excellent hosts and brilliant recommendations for places to eat, walk the dog and keep boys entertained. Chips at Eric’s amazing. We all had brilliant holiday and would definitely return as we’ve not been on holiday in this part of the country. Passed by too quickly. Wood family & Martha.

Delamore Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped! Our little grandson loved the pool and went in everyday of our week’s stay. The kitchen has everything you need and Sue left us milk, bread, biscuits which was an added bonus! Sue kindly sent us an email beforehand with lots of places of interest which was very useful.
