The cottage is situated in the popular hamlet of Abereiddy. It is ideally located for walking, bird watching and painting. Surfing, coasteering and canoeing also take place on the beach. Abereiddy beach is interesting for children as it has sand, pebbles and rock pools. Children also enjoy searching for the fossils which can be found on the beach. About the host
Hosted by Margaret Mabey

Beach Cottage has been owned by my family since the 1950s and my husband and I took it over in 1980. It is our only holiday cottage and we love it.
We have seen a lot of changes during those years from a sleepy hamlet where cattle grazed and geese swam on the small pond to the popular beach loved by locals and visitors alike, as it is today.
We enjoy looking after Beach Cottage and hope that those who stay there enjoy themselves too.

Why they chose this property
My father bought the cottage in the 1950s so that family and friends could have access to a holiday by the sea. So many of us are grateful to him for his foresight.
What makes this property unique
Young and old alike enjoy being so close to the beach, rock pools and surf as well as the Coastal Path for long or short walks. The wildlife that can be seen at different times of year is remarkable.
