The property is awesome! The three levels of living were fantastic! Each family had their own floor and bathroom. The living room/Open kitchen had great space and room for everyone. Definitely will return with some friends to catch a show at the Meadow Brook!! The host was great and communication was fantastic

Perfect location for us!

We loved our stay! The deck space is wonderful for a morning cup of coffee and the fire pit was great in the evening with a glass of wine. The property is close to all the local attractions but secluded and peaceful. We’ll definitely be back!!

Nice place for winter outing

We wanted a place nearby a ski area for a holiday family gathering...this was a perfect spot, plenty of space and nice location. A few minor issues were resolved by caretaker promptly. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful wedding weekend

Great property! Had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone to get ready for the wedding. Close to stores and all the lakes region sites. Perfect for adults and kids!

Great house for a large group especially teens. The space was perfect there was downstairs at the pool table that the teenagers could hang out separate from the adults. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms perfect for a big crew.

Good home base for a reunion

A nice house with multiple areas for a large family to all feel like they had a little room when needed, but with a great family area in the middle for everyone to come together. Close to Gunstock, hiking, Laconia, everything we needed. Downstairs is a little chilly & upstairs warm, but with fireplaces you can make everything comfy.

Perfect friends and family get away.

This home was so cozy and spacious for our group of cousins and friends to hangout together. Carolyn was helpful and accommodating during our stay. We had a great 3 night family vacation to celebrate a 50th birthday. The house was roomy, well appointed, and provided everything we needed. The location was great, as we enjoyed nearby group activities, hiking, an escape room, and mountain coaster rides. Very spacious and relaxing

This property was ver spacious for 5+ people. We could all do our own thing comfortably. The porch and the backyard were beautiful. Great location that left you close to attractions in the area including lakes. Private. Carolyn and Rebecca were very kind, respectable, and both ensured we had a great time. Check-in/ check- our process was easy. Couldn’t have asked for a better space by better people!

Great property

Communication with the owner was great, Carolyn always responded promptly and with clear answers. Check in and out was easy. The house was very clean, modern and stocked with supplies. The pictures were accurate and the layout was spacious – we were a group of 7 adults and 1 child and everyone felt like they had their own space. The fireplace was broken and in the process of being repaired. Saturday we spend snowshoeing at Gunstock, which was a short ride from the property. The house was also located a short distance from Gilford and Laconia, which offered restaurants, grocery stores and anything else you may need. Overall, we had a really nice time and I would recommend it to others.

Great House!

We had a great time at this house in Gilford. The accommodations were quite comfortable, with plenty of seating (we did move around a few occasional chairs during our stay). While there is no view, the property is a five minute walk to a side road with sweeping vistas of the lake and, for us, fall foliage. The outdoor space was well maintained with a fire ring. The wrap around deck was great to chase the sun all day! The deck also had a lot of furniture allowing everyone to eat outside if they wanted. The caretaker was awesome and answered all of our questions. The one issue we had was there wasn't a lot of the little details our group is used to having at a rental home like spices, condiments, wood for the fire ring (although the caretaker helped us out with a starter pile), extra toilet paper, garbage bags, saran wrap, etc. We have been renting houses for a while now and the lack of these things was inconvenient and added cost and a bit of running around to our short trip. The lack of garbage bags was especially troubling as the welcome book indicated we may lose some of our security deposit if the garbage wasn't placed in black garbage bags. There were NO garbage bags of any color that we could find and so need to purchase them. The only other negative is that the owner needs to have more large pans. With such a great large house, they are going to have big groups that require much bigger frying pans and pots. BUT - we muddled through and would recommend the house - especially if some of these little things get attended to.

We booked for a long weekend with 3 families including kids. Each room is big enough for a pack and play. The house was clean and checkin process was a breeze. The host and house caretaker were very communicative. The kitchen is big enough to cook large meals and has all the pots and pans, though just be sure to bring all spices including salt and oil. The location is great; no more than a 15 minute drive to apple picking, farms, the beach, and hiking. We would definitely book again!

We came to Gilford for several days for a concert at the Bank New Hampshire Pavillion and extended family reunion in the area. This home was the perfect gathering spot for the six of us. It has a comfy kitchen and two family room areas filled with games and a pool table which came in handy on our one rainy morning. We also found it the perfect location, less than ten minutes from the concert venue, close to local hikes, the Winnipesaki waterfront and local restaurants in Laconia, Guilford, and Weirs Beach. The house itself is as pictured and the beds are super-comfortable. We highly recommend it.

Great Property! Lots of Bedrooms and Baths, along with the multi-floor layout made this a very comfortable place for our extended family stay. Pool table, games/puzzles, indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit make this a fun spot for everyone. Excellent communication with property manager and owner. Hope to come back!
