If you are a large family or group, looking for a house to rent on Lake Winnipesaukee, we have a delightful, Victorian style house for you!
Downstairs, there are three bedrooms, a large living room with cable color TV, a fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen and a bathroom with a tub and shower. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower. There's plenty of parking.
If you just want to take it easy, you can relax on the full, wrap-around porch. By day, it has an outstanding view of the lake and mountains. In the evening, enjoy the clear night sky while watching the colorful lights of boats out on the lake.
The house has an unbeatable location in Weirs Beach. You can walk to everything. Walk across the street to the beautiful public beach and park. Walk down the boardwalk to the docks, where you can take a boat cruise across the lake. Farther down the boardwalk you'll find the railroad station, where you can take a scenic train ride along the lake.
A signed rental agreement is required for all bookings. Our State of New Hampshire Meals & Rentals Tax Operator's License is #041204.

The location can’t be beat, walking distance to shops, restaurants, pier and beach. Views are phenomenal. However, the house needs updating and a few more modern amenities would be nice.

Great location, perfect people-watching porch, spectacular view of Ossipees and Lake Winnipesaukee, lots of activities accessible for all ages - hikes, water sports, beach, dining, arcades, shops, etc. House and property manager very accommodating and responsive.

Located across from beach, which is a pretty awesome beach. Spent a lot of time on the big porch overlooking the strip. My favorite perch. Didn't have to drive much as everything is right there. House was very comfortable, ac in living room and bedrooms. Will go back for another week.....

Wake the Lake weekend!

This house has an amazing location. The porch and the views are amazing. We were very impressed with how clean the house was. There are a lot of bedrooms which works great for a lot of people. We enjoyed the grill for dinners and people watching. I would recommend this home for large parties and families. The accessibility to so many things to do is wonderful. Thank you for a great stay. We hope to be back next year.

Almost perfect.

This property had everything you need for a week of fun and relaxation from cleaning supplies to a washer and dryer. The views are amazing and location is perfect. The only drawback is the spiders in the house and on the porch. A few wasp nests there also but nothing major. If the home was treated regularly to keep the pests away I would not hesitate to make this my go to getaway every other year.

Great Location!

Check in was easy, and the house had more than enough space to accommodate our four families. The porch was a great outdoor space, and included a large picnic table that sat ten comfortably. Location was perfect, close to Weirs beach and the arcades, shopping, train station and docks which was ideal with six kids under six. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing views family getaway

The views are outstanding!! We comfortably slept 15 people (four families) ranging from six to grandparents. We walked the boardwalk, rode the train, played at the beach, rented a boat, easily docked at weirs, watched the fireworks from the comfort of the deck and grilled on the gas grill with refills of gas provided. While the amenities are not upgraded and bathrooms a bit small it’s a non-factor if you are looking for a fun family vacation within minutes of almost everything. The staff was very courteous and garbage was collected everyday outside with a friendly smile. Loved our family vacation and glad we rented where we did!!!

The Perfect Experience

Our stay at Romeo’s balcony could not have been better. There are not enough words to describe it but here goes! Beyond amazing views, charming, spacious and cozy at the same time. Clean, well stocked, perfect location, heaven on earth balcony/ porch, such easy access to EVERYTHING at Weir’s Beach!! Best ever!

Lake House

The house was in an awesome location and very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The biggest issue was counter space in the kitchen & Bathrooms. There are no towel racks or hooks for towels. A small island in the kitchen would be awesome. The only recomendation would be to let the renter know that all rooms do not have a/c and possible have fans in those rooms. We had a very hot week. Overall we had a great time and will most likely return to the area.

Fantastic vacation home!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our family vacation here at Weirs Beach, at both Castle Rest AND Romeo's Balcony! We rented both homes due to the size of our family...26...and this house was absolutely perfect! Some of the rooms, especially the kitchen, had been modernized, which made it bright and cheerful looking! There was definitely a shortage of pots and pans, but since we had both homes, it didn't matter at all. The staff was great to work with, especially Kathy, in the office. Robert was very diligent in answering "all my emails", with all the questions I had before we arrived. Great home, great people, PERFECT location!

Beautiful view lake Winnipesaukee!

We spent lots of time enjoying the beautiful view from the wrap-around porch! It was wonderful to be able to have our dog Cooper with us. The tiki hut ride on the lake was a big highlight. We rented boats and enjoyed time on lakes Winnipesaukee, winnisquam and Squam lake. Also watched On Golden Pond again while we were there. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay in a big roomy house. House could use a little updating but it was clean and roomy and we really enjoyed it.

This place was perfect for our family weekend! We had tons of space for our large group and the common areas flowed easily from one room to the next. Massive Victorian Porch will make your Lake Dreams a reality.

Location, Location, Location. Weirs beach is a great place for families. Within a few minutes walk is the Lake Beach (with life guards), drive in moives, shops, amusements, bars, restaurants, the lake cruises and train station! The house has a HUGE porch thats can change a rainy day into not such a terrible thing. The views are the best on the lake. We had two dogs who we could easily walk in this clean town. The beds were good and had clean linens. The overall house is furnished and decorated with inexpensive items. The house had cableTV and wifi, laundry, clean towels, parking. We were Happy! For the location and size of this house the price was very fair and reflects its lack of modernization. old fashioned fun!
