Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage.
Great location, remote and surrounded by fantastic countryside but within easy reach of nearby villages and a town with everything you are likely to need. Exceptionally clean cottage and very private with lovely enclosed garden. Pleasant and comfortable interior and kitchen very well equipped.

Location was perfect to enjoy the sky at night. We loved having the sheep for neighbours at such a peaceful spot. The cottage had everything we needed and made a great base for exploring further afield.

Great little cottage to get away from it all!

This property has been a popular holiday let for 8 years now with a regular clientèle base. Brian the owner has lived in the area for some 15 years and commutes to his place of work on a daily basis on the North East coast.

I bought Park Cottage for its location overlooking the North Tyne fells and river. The peace and tranquillity of the area makes it both a beautiful place to live and holiday because of its proximity to Kielder Water.The Cottage is situated in the Northumberland National Park with its spectacular walking areas within the forest and the Cheviot Hills. The busy market town of Bellingham is 4 miles, Hexham 20 miles. This area is well known for its night skies being the best in England with an observatory close by.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is detached and has a beautiful fully enclosed sunny walled garden containing a variety of mature trees and shrubs, it is approached via quiet lane on the edge of the hamlet of Lanehead. It has an open fire for the cooler evenings, although fully centrally heated, with patio decking area with table and chairs. Off road parking right outside of the property. Refurbished with quality fittings and beautifully presented comprising of entrance hall, large sitting room,well equipped fitted kitchen, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with three piece suite and electric shower over bath.
