Maison Belin is a pretty 18th century typical Beaune townhouse with beamed ceilings. Recently fully restored to provide very comfortable accommodation, with fully fitted kitchen, new bathrooms and central heating. Although situated in a quiet residential street, the house is only minutes walk from the historic town centre with its numerous restaurants (over 50) three of them Michelin starred, wine cellars, cafes and shops. It is only 10 minutes stroll also to the vast vineyards of the Cote d'Or in Burgundy. 100m from the house are the pretty Jardins des Verdures with its ancient city baths and shady, secluded seating.

Property was perfect for exploring Beaune and the surrounding countryside. House was very comfortable and supplied with all our needs. Viviane was very accessible and quickly resolved one minor issue we had. Free parking is available in short walkind distance. Be aware that most of the living space is on the 2nd,3rd and 4th floor if you have trouble doing steps.

Family holiday in Beaune

Great apartment in a beautiful little town. We all enjoyed our 5 day stay. Facilities were good, location was good, parking was easy. Good exercise going up and down the stairs!

Perfect stay in Beaune

Vivienne’s house is the perfect place to stay to experience Beaune and the Bourgogne wine regions. It’s on a quiet street only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Our host was very responsive to requests and everything in the house was as described.

Perfect location

Really nice historical townhouse within walking distance of the center of Beaune. It has 4 floors with step stairs. Be prepared to climb stairs to the bedrooms.

A very pleasant stay in this cosy house on a quiet sidestreet in Beaune. The owner has gone the extra mile and made it very comfortable and well-equipped, and was very responsive when there was an issue. Would go again!

Great Place, Perfect Location

This townhouse is in the perfect location in Beaune. We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is close to the town center and an easy walk to the train station, only a 10 minute walk. The place is as indicated, clean, quaint, and the bedrooms were charming. There are many stairs, so if that is an issue you should consider that, but overall the place is lovely. Vivienne was the perfect host, available to answer questions, and check in and out was very easy. I would definitely recommend this property and if I ever have the pleasure to visit again, will not hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect Location!

This flat is perfect location. Walking distance to central Beuane. Plenty of parking. Safe. Wine tours will come right to your door step. It also has all amenities you need and a very friendly owner.

Lovely townhouse and quaint town

The townhouse was as described - very old but lots of character and charm with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to everything in town and to various winery tours. Property manager responded quickly to questions and provided a book with several recommendations. Lots of stairs so be fair warned - would definitely recommend this property and Beaune in general.

Wonderful central Beaune hideaway.

Really great property. Close to everything. Had everything you could possibly need. Lovely house, clean and really nicely decorated. Vivienne the owner was super helpful. Altogether a real gem.

Lovely home in a medieval village

Charming, lovely home. Super clean and great communication with host. Walked everywhere. Conveniently located behind Hotel de Ville on v quiet street with lots of parking. Only caveat is that home stretches over four levels with kitchen on fist level, one bedroom each on second and third levels, and sitting room on fourth level. This may not work with small children or impaired adults, but was perfect for us! Great option in Beaune!!!

LOVED this place!!!

My wife was attending The Cook's Atelier cooking school and we stayed at Vivienne's wonderful home. From the moment you open the door(with the huge skeleton key!) and see the old hand hewn beams exposed on the ceiling, I was hooked! The kitchen was well supplied with all new modern appliances(finding the refrigerator was fun!) And all the cooking utensils one could ever need! The rooms were comfortable especially with the supplied oscillating fans and the fourth floor family room was the perfect escape. The second floor shower is European size so if you're a large person it'll be a tight fit! Love this place and would highly recommend for anyone staying in Beaune!

Great stay in a fun town

Beaune is a very fun town in Burgundy. This property was in a very good location close to town - which was important to us. It is a very old property that has been nicely updated with modern amenities. Vivienne was a very helpful host and there was a lot of good information about the village in the property. Be sure to make clear if you need the second room to have 1 or 2 beds. We failed to do this, and it was a bit uncomfortable for us two old guys to share a bed. We should have let her know her needed twin beds. Also, if you have a hard time walking up and down stairs, be aware that like all of these old homes, there are a lot of steep stairs. We expected this and you should too. I recommend this cute old home for a fun stay in Beaune.

Why they chose this property

Maison Belin is a great town house with everything you need for your stay. It is central without being noisy, in fact it is situated in a very quiet and safe area looking over the Town Hall and the municipal police station. There are many advantages to the house but the main one is that there is always parking available in front of the house and that there are two bathrooms/toilets - always useful when staying with friends/colleagues! The house is on 3 floors so people who have mobility issues should be aware that there are stairs.
