2 Bed Apartment close to Dover Beach

Balcony Rock is ideal vacation rental for people new to the island

It is 6 minutes walk from Turtle Beach and 10 minutes walk from the very popular large sandy Dover Beach with a restaurant and other food stall on the beach front. One restaurant s on the sand.

Balcony Rock is in a very central location, walking distance to the main tourist area of St Lawrence Gap. The nearest restaurant is only 3 minutes walk away, the main south coast bus route is 1 minute walk away, a supermarket is 5 minutes walk and very large supermarket in the town of Oistins is 5 minutes away on the bus. Oistins is very famous for it Friday nights Fish Frying Festival (which now includes a variety of meat and entertainment. Buses run every 2-5 minutes during rush hours.

A car is not necessary is you choose to stay at Balcony Rock. as all of the key facilities you need are within a 5-10 minutes walk. Also you are only two minutes walk from the main coast road bus route so can be in the popular town of Oistins within 5 minutes and the Capital Bridgetown in around 20 minutes.

Your host Audrey, lives next door to the apartment block and works in the hair dressers which is also part of the complex, so is available if you need help with anything.

Balcony Rock is also within easy walking distance of Dover Beach, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and ATMs.. There is also a cinema complex within 5 minutes drive.

The price quoted includes the provision of clean towels and linen once per week, free wifi, cable TV with sports and movie channels and AC. There are no additional charges, but we offer a small discount where two people are sharing one bedroom.

We have also arranged discounts and deals for our guests with Motofitt Transport - just quote "BOHLEMA" for a great discount on already low prices..

Nice apartment close to bus route.

We enjoyed our stay at Balcony Rock apartments. It was easy to get around the island using the busses that stopped right at the corner of the street. Walking distance to the Gap for restaurants. Access to the laundry room was nice as well. Only negative was the street is very busy so there is street noise.

The property is very clean and well maintained!

We had a very nice time. The beaches are close by and the property is right on the main road for easy travel. It is a bit noisy due to the traffic. Hot water for showers was intermittent. Walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap which is a beautiful spot to hang out and go for dinner. Property manager was very helpful and friendly. Thank you

lovely central self contained accomadition

Family run, very helpful, central very safe location,1 min to busstop, across the road from Dover beach. Small charge for washing machine. Everything you for self contained accomadition, Wifi included. Booked for my mum and her friend for just under a month, but spent days/evenings visiting whilst staying elsewhere, as was so central. Would defiantly stay here and have recommended to various friends visiting Barbados. Book you won't be disappointed. Julia, London, UK.

4 Balcony Rock was spacious, clean and comfortable for our 2 week stay. It is in a convenient location just on a corner off Maxwell Road and is walking distance to Dover Beach and the Gap, quick ZR ride to Oistens, grocery stores and 20 minutes to Bridgetown. It is on a residential street and the neighbours are friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was equipped to make basic meals, bedrooms large, beds comfortable and the a/c in each worked well. For convenience we used a nearby laundry mat for our towels and clothes as laundry access is limited to your assigned day/week and was difficult to access as it was always in use. Note: there is a 5 BBD charge for each load which came as a surprise as not noted on the.site. Audrey had her hands full with visiting family but always made time to check in on a regular basis that we were enjoying our stay. Michael was very responsive to any inquiry during the booking process and was able to arrange a rental car with very short notice from us.

Excellent location, comfortable apartment, wonderful landlord!

We stayed at Balcony Rock for 25 nights, it worked great for us, we could walk to the beach and the bus stop was right at the corner which meant we could go pretty much anywhere we wanted for very reasonable price. The landlord/owner, Audrey, is a wonderful person and she did everything to make our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place for a longer stay if you feel you need to get away from resort living and be able to prepare some meals for yourself.

I loved Balcony Rock so much I came back!!

"Balcony Rock is excellent. Audrey is the best hostess you could find, nothing is too much trouble. I have stayed in Apartment 4 twice before, although on my next trip I will be staying next door in Apartment 5. No doubt I will love it as much as no 4. The Apartments are well equipped with everything I need including WI FI and cable TV. I also found the bed extremely comfortable. There is a gas station approximately 5 minutes along the main road where you can find basics but there are also 3 good sized supermarkets a short bus trip along the main road if you need anything more. The apartments are in a great location with the bus stop less than a minute away and are only $2BBD with the beach approximately a 15 minute walk in the other direction. I have liaised with Michael for the booking and he is just fabulous and responds to any enquiry very quickly and gives great customer service. I look forward to staying at Balcony Rock again in the future if they will have me! I am unable to fault the service I have received from either Audrey or Michael and would highly recommend them."

Great relaxing stay

We booked Balcony rock apartments and stayed in apartment no4 We found the apartment to be spotlessly clean and everything we needed for a great 3 weeks holliday we shall be going back again as we had such a good holliday. Both bedrooms have aircon so cool at night and great value for money. Audery & Richard are the oweners and mike does all the bookings and nothing is too much trouble always willing to help if needed its so easy to get around as bus stops at the end of the road its about a 5 minute walk to Dover beach which is the nearest one to walk but with the bus stopping outside for 2bds you can get to any beach.Once again thanks for a great holliday we will be back SOON.

Mike and Hazel are very easy going and flexible. They kindly agreed to book one night in the adjoining apartment as their preferred one was booked for the first day of their planned holiday. They got on very well with Audrey and Richard and took good care of the property, so I will be offering them the best possible deal for their next visit
