About this property

Lovely bright bungalow, tasteful coastal interior.

Our bungalow is available for relaxed, restful self-catering holidays. It is situated near the spectacular North Cornwall coastline which is renowned for its beautiful beaches, surfing, breath-taking walks and National Trust areas, making it ideally situated to explore both Cornwall and Devon.

Short breaks available.

It is tastefully decorated with coastal hues to give you that holiday feel the moment you walk through the door! It has all the comforts of a modern home, sleeping four people in two bedrooms (one double, one twin), there is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven/grill, hob, microwave and fridge. The lounge/diner has a table and four chairs, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with Freeview (Smart TV). The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. There is a south facing patio area to the front of the bungalow with garden furniture.

Bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Bath mat, tea towels, oven gloves, books and games are also provided. The bungalow has electric heaters. Electricity is provided via meter cards which are available to purchase.

Flexible change-over days and short breaks available by agreement. Just drop me a message.

One well behaved dog is allowed to stay at the bungalow for a small additional charge so please us on booking if you wish to bring your dog.  Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds and must be kept on a lead at all times.  Do not leave your dog alone in the bungalow.

Not suitable for persons of restricted mobility due to the steps leading up to the property.

This is a self-catering holiday home. We recommend you arrange your own holiday insurance.

Great stay

Had a lovely stay at number 7 in July 2024. Chalet was spotless and well equipped and cozy. Outside the chalet the garden area was very pretty to sit with a glass of wine. The site was very clean and quiet,car parking just opposite the chalet. Had a lovely stay thanks to Kevin and Jane we will book again.

The bungalow was tastefully presented and I liked that the area was generally calm and quiet. Oue host was very helpful and the whole booking process was easy. We enjoyed exploring this area of Cornwall and discovering the Bude area as well as Padstow. Being quite near to some NT beaches was also an excellent draw.Our only wish is for the site to have proper recycling facilities. Overall we had a good time and enjoyable time. Thank you Jane.

Nice place

It's a small house with all the needed facilities. It has a smart TV with Netflix. It has an oven and a cooker. It misses a coffee machine but we brought ours along. The shower is really nice.

A bright and compact cottage with all you need for self catering. Sadly the mattress and pillows on double bed should have been replaced long ago. Apart from that the cottage was very comfortable

Lovely little chalet with great well equipped kitchen. Bright and airy. Bedding could do with updating as a bit bobbly and maybe some storage scents in the wardrobes and chest of drawers. Great base for exploring the many beautiful beaches in Bude. Kids entertainment on site was also excellent. Excellent communication from the owners. Would recommend.

A happy holiday

The property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The hosts, Jane and Kevin were lovely and communication/ information was great. We were very fortunate that the weather was good for the week we stayed. Bude has several lovely sandy beaches and a sea pool, which was great for the less confident swimmers. Penstow park is undergoing a bit of a rejuvenation and the Stowe bar, which reopened whilst we were there offers a bar and live music

PERFECT FOR FAMILY BREAK

Really lovely chalet on lovely site. Everything you could need was available in the property. We had a few rainy days and the hamper of games was much appreciated. My teenage boys who usually have their heads buried in technology played many games of chess together. Kilkhampton is a lovely little village. We had pizza from Ape Pizza which was lovely and also ate in the London Inn where they were very friendly (it’s also lovely and warm in there). Great communication from Jane also. The only thing which would have made our stay better was if the company running the park sold day passes to the club facilities (feel they are missing out there). Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Zomervakantie in Bude

Het huisje is gelegen naast een vakantiepark. De prachtige stranden zijn goed te bereiken met de auto, onze favoriet was Duckpool Beach. Het huisje was keurig schoon en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, de kinderen waren blij met netflix. Je maakt gebruik van energiekaarten, waarvan je er minder nodig hebt dan de dame in het hokje je verkoopt. De matrassen vonden wij erg hard en het 2 persoonsbed is voor nederlandse begrippen klein, maat twijfelaar. De omgeving is prachtig!

Despite the park facilities being closed due to Covid restrictions, we had a great week. Park is close to some lovely, dog-friendly beaches. Chalet was clean and well equipped. Playground and dog walking area on the park was an added bonus when facilities were closed.

Long weekend

My self and my two teenage boys had a lovely weekend. The chalet had everything we needed, nice and close to the amenities. The swimming pool was lovely. Staff all friendly. Wish were there longer 😊
