Front line beach 1 bedroom apartment that was completely refurbished at the beginning of 2017. Originally a 2 bedroom apartment, removing one bedroom to give the feeling of space and to open up the wonderful views. The open plan lounge/diner and kitchen is a lovely bright, modern and airy space consisting of a 3 seater sofa and chair, dining table for four overlooking the beach and a fully fitted kitchen with all your requirements including a water filter for drinking water. We have free wifi and British TV, there is a sound system with bluetooth and auxiliary ports so you can play your music from a phone, tablet etc.. Also benefits from fitted air-conditioning (hot and cold) ceiling fans and a radiator, so you may always be comfortable whatever the weather. The terrace to the front has glazing which out of the summer season is perfect to enclose or air the property. In the summer months the glazing will be removed and stored to open the space up. The terrace has a lounge bed, a perfect place to read, relax, watch the world go by and soak up the glorious views. There is also a table and chairs. The bedroom consists of a double bed with built in wardrobes, bedside tables and a ceiling fan, stand alone fan and a heater for the chillier months. There is a wet shower room with toilet and sink and a utility area to the rear with washing machine and a small freezer for your ice and lollies. All bedding and towels will be provided along with beach towels, which will help with baggage restrictions. *INCLUDED* FREE WIFI, BEACH TOWELS, FREE AIR-CON, END OF STAY CLEAN. CHECK-IN 3PM - CHECK OUT 12PM Although the apartment is for 2 people there is also a double sofa bed so can sleep 4 at an additional cost.
The area is very flat, making it ideal for walking and cycling. Only 2km away from the motorway making easy access to all the Murcia region, the historical city of Cartagena, the Calblanque Nature reserve, La Zenia Boulevard (for the shopping enthusiast), Mud Baths, Kite Surfing and many golf courses are all within easy reach. Tuesday is markets day in Los Alcazares where many bargains can be found as well as fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetables, you are just a short stroll away. Saturday there is also a market in nearby Los Narejos. So much on your doorstep...

This lovely apartment sits right on the sea front of the town; it is fantastically light and airy with many windows that enable a lovely cooling breeze at all times of the day.It has all the amenities that you need, whether you wish to cook for yourself or just use as a base to visit the many good restaurants in the area.Its a short 15 minute walk into the main heart of the town or are leisurely 30 minute walk if you prefer to walk along the sea front.The town itself has many good restaurants and bars, catering for many different types of food (Indian, chineses, italian, english, etc) and is very well kept and clean.Needless to say i recommend it and plan to stay again at the great apartment.
A fantastic week at “Suzi’s beach apartment”. From the moment I booked, communication with owners was excellent (they even recommended a taxi company for airport transfers, who were great for both journeys). I did not hire a car, and it was not needed; so many things are walking distance: shops (big and small), bodegas, restaurants. Suzi has left some good adresses for food out in the welcome book, and I surely agree with El Tropical for delicious tapas… The flat is really functional, everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook and have lunch or dinner at home. The terrace is fab, at any time of the day: if you want to relax, or watch the world pass by! Being able to go for a quick swim, by basically just going down the stairs, at 8am remains one of the highlights of my week. Los Alcazares is a really lovely Spanish pueblo, embracing the (small) tourist population whilst still feeling traditionally Spanish - the flat’s location is the icing on the cake. I strongly recommend; muchas gracias Suzi!
The apartment is just as it is described. The enclosed large balcony is excellent for the cooler months. We visited 25th to 1st February and were really lucky with the weather with temperatures between 18 and 22c during the day, dropping down to 8c at night. The reverse heating in the apartment was efficient but was only need occasionally. The location, right on the promenade, was perfect for walking and it was only a short distance to shops and bars. Suzi and Neil were great hosts and there was much valuable information in the welcome pack about the area including recommendations for local restaurants. There was also a good bottle of wine waiting for us!! Although a tourist centre, during the cooler months the place is not busy yet many bars and restaurants are still open (and inexpensive) in order to cater for the Spanish population. All in all we can safely say we had a relaxing, wonderful stay and have no hesitation in recommending the apartment.
Property was great we couldn't have asked for better. Ideally situated close to all amenities. Really enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony every morning enjoying the view.

Living The Dream
5 Stars all the way. From initial contact to prompt return of deposit from Suzi and Neil who met us with a warm welcome and a bottle of wine.The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard and has everything you need. Fast wifi , British TV, Air con but what really makes it special is the location. Situated bang in the middle of the old and new town right on the sea front.

Modern and full of light
One of the best appointed properties that we have stayed in. Great views across El Mar Menor to La Manga. Walking distance from supermarket, bars and restaurants. Suzi and Neil were very available and helpful. Apart from the beach, local towns Cartegena, Elche and Lorca within easy reach as is the Sierra Espuna - mountain range great for walks despite it's snow capped peaks when we were there in early February!
