Villa Colle dell'Asinello , located in Umbria, is in a marvelous panoramic position overlooking the Tiber river and the natural Alviano Oasis. It is all surrounded by more than 10 hectares of private park where you can find ancient trees, flowers and animals like deer, goats, and donkeys . The property is only 2 kms from the borough of Guardea and a few minutes from towns like Orvieto, Todi and Amelia. The villa hosts a maximum of 14 guests in 5 ensuite bedrooms.

Every room in the villa is light, spacious and finished with natural elements like wood and local stone. Apart from the bedrooms, there is a great living area divided between dining area with fully equipped kitchen and living room with conversation area and TV. From the living room you can directly enter the swimming pool and spa areas.
Villa Colle dell'Asinello has 5 bedrooms, each different from the other and all refined with high quality handcrafted furniture. Each room has a private bathroom and 4 of them are on the ground floor. The superb, deluxe suite is on the first floor and it is an elegant and spacious room that boasts a panoramic private hot-tub.


Villa Colle dell'Asinello, has a beautiful salt-water swimming pool and Jacuzzi area, the pool is covered and heated 30 C° ,with refreshing waterfalls and chromotherapy. In the pool area there is also spa corner with turkish bath and tropical shower. Outside the villa is a large green park with garden equipped with table and chairs and barbecue.

A masterpiece!

Beautiful home in an idyllic setting reflecting the creative genius of the builder/owner. Wonderful hosts. Within driving distance of classic Umbrian communities and vineyards. Highly recommended.

Fabulous stay at a stunning villa

We spent a week at this incredible villa. Franco and Aukse met us at the villa and showed us around the beautiful property. They were very warm and welcoming and made sure to check in with us periodically to ensure that everything was going OK. The pictures do not do the villa justice - it's larger than it appears and had plenty of space for the eight of us. It could easily sleep 10 and even more if you were willing to make use of the pull-out beds. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious, well-appointed and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and large by European standards. The pool and spa were a hit with everyone in our party. The kitchen had everything we needed and there's also a charcoal grill outside. Having access to a washer and dryer was incredibly helpful as a few in our party had been on the road for a while and were easily able to do some laundry. The villa is situated on a hillside and has a spectacular view towards Orvietto and the surrounding Umbrian countryside. It's somewhat isolated although Guardea is only a short drive (or a 20 minute hike up a very steep hill) and it has most everything you could need. Note that the road into the villa is steep and mostly unpaved - your rental car will get a workout and be in need of a wash when you leave! Overall, Franco and Aukse's villa was incredible and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in the Umbrian countryside.

E’ una clinica dei sensi, un posto dove è possibile, anche solo per tre giorni, estraniarsi dal mondo per rimettersi in pace con sé stessi, circondati da tanto buon gusto, dettagli minuziosi di qualsiasi cosa, pace, tranquillità, relax, e dalla squisita ospitalità di franco ed Aukse. In una parola: unico.
